Love it!!
This thing is great!! I love it. It’s super easy to get up and running, easy to log into my various streaming apps (yes, you have to connect it to the Internet for that). But it also has an HDMI port so if you just want to connect it directly to your computer you can. I think I can mirror my phone to it, but I haven’t tried yet.Features that I love:1) the automatic keystone correction thing. At least that’s what I think it’s called. If I change the angle of the picture, like, to point it up at a wall, the projector automatically senses it and then corrects the picture so it’s the proper rectangle again, and I don’t have to do a thing!I love my BenQ projector because the picture is absolutely amazing, but I end up having to fuss with the legs a lot to get the picture to angle right. I’ll never let it go, because the BenQ is so very good in the picture quality department, but this auto keystone things is wonderful.2) it’s small but mighty and very portable. I used to have outdoor movie nights but it was such a pain moving the BenQ and the necessary larger speakers with it (my soundcores weren’t enough) plus all the setup, because I’m sorry, but the sound on the BenQ is terrible. I’ve heard mice squeak louder than the BenQ at its highest volume.I got this projector because I want to have outdoor movie nights again, and this is small and easy to set up. This way I don’t have to risk hurting the BenQ by moving it all the time, and it can just stay safely inside my apartment for indoor movie night.3) The base is stable and supports different angles really well. I really appreciate that.4) Good picture. I won’t say it’s *great* picture, and I feel like I can’t get it quite as sharp as I would like, sometimes, but it’s fine. I’m not as picky as some people I know (who are welcome to give movie night a miss if they can’t deal with the picture quality). You just probably won’t like it if you’re a perfectionist, but may I also point out that this cost somewhere around $100, on sale, and worth every penny.I’m perfectly happy with the picture because it’s quite bright, which was always an issue in all the other ones I’ve tried except for the BenQ.I had the lights in in my room and was projecting into my wall, and the picture was nice and bright. Also, it’s sharp enough, and you can adjust the picture to be rather small or rather large, and there are manual focus buttons on the controller as well as in the top of the projector.5) it has *actually* decent sound volume!! I mean, yes, it’s a bit tinny but who cares? I actually had to turn it down because it was too loud for me. If I’d had several other people in the room with me the volume would have been just fine *without having to connect it to an external speaker*!! This is unheard of.I bought, tested, and returned 4 or 5 different projectors claiming to have great sound and great picture, because they were all bad on both counts, *especially* when it came to the sound volume.I’m curious to see how the sound works out on my portable speaker. The projector does have an aux port, so that’s good.That’s all I’ve got so far. I only just unboxed it tonight and played a movie and some YouTube videos and a Netflix show. We’ll see how it holds up.I LOVE this projector so far and I can’t wait to try it out for outdoor movie night.6) Oh yeah. Last thing. They have a 2 year warranty which is ridiculously easy to activate. So I actually did it, instead of putting it off until I had some mental bandwidth to focus. Yay!

Second projector so far so good
So this is my second review. Because this is my second projector. The first one the speaker was making a popping sound, but then after a while after 13 days of having it, I had these black squiggly lines just appear on my screen. I thought it was the screen, but it was definitely not the screen.. I thought it was dust and it was definitely not dust because I didn’t go anywhere and I could not remove it. I do really like this projector because the picture quality is great and the sound is great even coming from the speaker on the projector but if you want a better sound from the projector, I would definitely get a Bluetooth speaker.. I’ve also added a video of the picture quality from the projector. So far, I have not heard a popping sound or anything like that yet coming from the speaker so I will give it about 13 days and then I’ll make another review. Hopefully this second one will last longer than that, but it is one of my favorite projectors. And customer service was great with working with me and getting the second one out to me as quick as possible.

Easy set up. Clear picture quality.
I returned two before landing on this one. Third times the charm. The previous two were a great price (under $40) but “you get what you pay for.”I spent a little more with this one, and it met all of my needs.•Wifi connection was quick and seamless.•Logging into preloaded apps was quick.•Downloading additional apps was quick.•Remote has the range required for ease of use. My projector is on a shelf slightly behind my couch. But I can point the remote towards the wall (in front of the couch) and it functions like I’m watching TV. I don’t have to point it directly at the projector in order for it to work. I did with one that I ended up returning.•I can connect my JBL speaker via Bluetooth to enhance the sound quality beyond what the project provides.•The stand allows you to adjust the angle of the picture onto a ceiling or higher/lower on a wall or projector screen. That’s a plus when you sit it on a higher shelf in the room.•Great value for your buck.To note:• The projector itself is not so mini. It does take up a little space, but it’s not a big deal at all.•The third party app which allows screen sharing/ casting, may be hit or miss. I have to play around with it some more before I reach a verdict on that.But! The company provides a sheet with QR codes so that your guests can easily download the app according to their device. This allows for a quick download so that they can cast from their phones without needing to log in to the preloaded apps. I’ve attached a pic of the sheet. If this works, it is the icing on the cake for when I have guests staying in my guest room.•Lastly, the fan on the projector does make noise. But, if you turn the volume up, or connect a better speaker, you won’t notice it.Overall, I highly recommend this product. Like the rest of the reviews say, just go ahead and get it! Lol

This projector is unbelievable for the price & it comes with everything you need to get started (screen, tripod, leads) .The initial set up is quick & the user interface is so easy to navigate. There’s no messing around with the buttons on the main unit either as everything can be done through the remote.The picture quality is excellent & no matter where the projector is placed, you can very easily adjust the angles through the settings.The audio was also quite a surprise. Crisp, clear & a lot louder than I expected.There is some noise from the fan but that is easily covered by the speaker.The WiFi & Bluetooth connections are both smooth with no signal loss or drop out problems.All in all, a fantastic projector & a fraction of the price of other well known makes that have fewer connectivity options.If you’re thinking about buying a projector, you won’t go wrong with this.

My brief review and experience using it with ratings:Firmware and features. 10/10Everything works as it should. No issues or lags noticed.Connection. 10/10The computer is connected via HDMI cable + audio output through Bluetooth speaker. It works perfectly, without lags or delays.Input lag. 9/10This projector is more suitable for presentations and movie watching rather than gaming, but to my surprise, the input lag is very low. I couldn’t measure it precisely, but as an example, I tried playing Cuphead at my friend’s place on his TV, and even with the gaming mode on, I couldn’t get through the tutorial due to the image delay. With this projector, it’s real. It should work well for fighting games, football, and arcade games. However, shooters like CS:GO might not be ideal, and games like Civilization could be challenging due to resolution limitations affecting text visibility.Image quality. 10/10 considering it’s a 1080p projectorOverall, the quality is good enough, especially for movies. If you want superior quality, you should look for a projector with higher resolution.The quality worsens when adjusting angles, so it’s best to position the projector directly towards the screen.Brightness. 9/10In a dark room, brightness is perfect. Even in daylight, the image is still visible enough.Sound. 7/10The projector’s sound is present and decent, but for the best experience, it’s recommended to use proper audio devices like JBL Clip 3 or AUX/Bluetooth headphones.Noise. 9/10There is some noise, but during movie viewing, it’s not bothersome. You can comfortably sleep with it, as the noise is consistent and comparable to a fan or air dehumidifier.Can I recommend it? Definitely yes. If you are willing to spend more, consider getting a projector with higher resolution.If you add a Chrome cast, this device becomes something amazing.Don’t expect much from the included screen. A white wall produces better results.Overall rating – 64/70 = 9.1/10P.S. I reached out to customer support because I couldn’t turn off the music when turning on the projector. They helped me promptly, and the support was excellent. Simply the best. I didn’t expect to get such a great product and service when I purchased this projector. Thank you!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Used for meetings but also home cinema time and pretty good. For what you pay it’s good. You can spend a lot more money and only get a little better quality.

I was fortunate enough to get the projector on an Amazon deal. The packaging was nice at par & above more expensive peers.The initial set up is quick & the user interface is so easy to navigate. The picture quality is quite good, though for best experience you would need low-light conditions & some tweaking of the picture settings. The audio was definitely a surprise, it is crisp, clear & loud enough to fill a small to medium sized room. Definitely better than my previous projectors.The UI looks very clean & simple. Using the firestick, the projector did face few issues in recognizing 4k videos outside Prime Video (like Netflix), but with Chromecast with Google TV facing no such issues and picture quality is much better. There is some noise from the fan but you don’t notice it once you start watching the video and as the speaker is loud enough.Manual keystone adjustment can take some time but it is made easy with the ability to control using the remote.Overall, I would say that the projector is good value for money and is well-built. It also comes with everything you need to get started (screen, tripod, leads) which is a definite bonus.

Image quality is okay, it’s pretty bright so as long as you’re not watching it on a sunny day bright room it should be okay.Biggest limitation is the image cannot be resized, it all depends on how far the projector is away from where you want to watch the image. If you don’t have a fixed location where you want to install it, the size of the image doesn’t matter, then this is a good projector for the price.Has apple airplay, which is pretty useful.
