Quiet, efficient unit
Needed this dehumidifier for our 1930’s home basement with a dirt floor. Flawless, easy set-up for us, and we are in our 70’s. It runs quiet, and the size is perfect and easy to empty which we are doing a few times a day for now, (which we expected), as it is the first few weeks of use. It shuts off when it is full automatically. The screen is easy to read, and keeps track of the current humidity levels which are on the way down. It is an energy efficient model which is important to us as we are on a fixed income. So far it is doing a great job!

Outstanding Craftsmanship & Engineering! By far, most QUIET dehumidifier have experienced. Removes 1/2 – 1 gallon water / day in small bedroom and hallway area, regardless of temperature (many other brands do not work well in cooler <65F environments). Simple to use. Relatively light weight for effectiveness of unit vs. other 80 Pint units. Easy to empty water collector. Ya, this is THE One! 🙂

Top Brand Works Great
Plug and go. Easy to install. Used the included tubing which is a good design being clear, to see if water is draining. Much quieter than my defunct Frigidaire that I had for many years. My basement started at 60% humidity. Within two days the humidity was down to 50%. Now after several days the humidity is down to 45%. I couldn’t be happier as everything was getting moist in my basement with the old not working. Controls are easy. The size is smaller than my old one which is a nice attribute. I hope I get longevity out of this brand as it is the first time I’ve seen this name. I did much research and this unit came out on top. Price is reasonable compared to others at the top of the list. So far, I would definitely recommend. Fingers crossed on durability.

I appreciate that the fan isn’t insanely loud like some other dehumidifiers in the same size and price range and it seems to be working well as I had half a tank full of water after about 8 hours of runtime and my humidity readings in the surrounding area mostly match what this device shows. However, I am concerned about the brown streak in the bucket that showed up already. I see some other reviewers have this same issue. It also dribbles water when the bucket is removed to empty so I have to keep a towel nearby. I was going to order a second one for my ground floor but I want to see if it continues to perform as expected for a while and see if I can get rid of the brown stain after a couple empties of the bucket.

Great Dehumidifier with stellar energy savings
So I was looking to get a new dehumidifier for my basement as the current Hisense dehumidifier that came with the house that was built in the 1950s when we bought it was running quite a bit and was an energy hog using 540 watts when running with an average of 10.5 kWh per day. So I did a ton of research and came across this dehumidifier.As I was looking at the reviews and looking at the power specs I was thinking there’s now way that this little thing that uses hard the electricity that my current dehumidifier uses is going to effectively dehumidifie my basement effectively and not just run constantly and end up using around the same amount of electricity.So after reading the reviews and being comforted by the warranty I decided to use my credit card rewards and bought the Aeocky dehumidifier and to say I was impressed with the results is an understatement.It was well packaged and the instructions and quick start guide were very good but there were some linguistic issues but that wasn’t surprising considering this is a Chinese product. I start off by setting the RH% to 40% as i had with my previous dehumidifier but that was basically like setting it to continuous mode. It could net get the humidity below 47% but even when it was raining it didn’t get above 50%. Despite it using only 280 watts when running i was surprised at how effective it was at keeping a modest humidity and only used 6kWh per day running 24/7.So I decided to run it on automatic mode which keeps the humidity between 50-55% which is a little higher than I wanted but now it wasn’t running all the time. After running it I auto mode for a week it’s been doing a fantastic job at keeping the humidity level down and it’s only using 4kWh per day on average! Plus it’s super quite. As you can hear in the video the loudest thing is the fan running, you can’t even hear the compressor running at all. The one issue is the tank is super small and only holds about a gallon so using the continuous drain feature is pretty much required to use this unless you are able to dump it out multiple times a day depending on how humid your space is. As you can see in have it draining into the basement sink and I put the garden house attachment on to put a little bit of weight on the end so it wouldn’t curl up.Would absolutely recommend this dehumidifier just on the electricity savings alone!
