So disappointed by the quality and effectiveness of this product. The manual instructions are so bad that I was not even able to connect the system. Just does not function at all. Looks horrible. Wish there was a ZERO star.

Peace of Mind with Reliable, Crystal-Clear Surveillance
I couldn’t be happier with this Wired Security Camera System! From the moment I unboxed it, the setup was straightforward and intuitive, even for someone without a technical background like me. The DVR came pre-installed with a 500GB hard drive, which started recording right out of the box. The 5MP bullet cameras deliver incredibly sharp and clear images, day or night. I was particularly impressed with the night vision— it captures detailed footage even in pitch-black conditions, which gives me extra peace of mind.I also appreciate the smart motion detection feature, which alerts me immediately whenever there’s movement around my property. It’s been useful to monitor my driveway and backyard even when I’m at work. The sturdy build quality of the cameras reassures me that they’ll hold up well against the weather. Overall, this system offers dependable, high-resolution surveillance without the hassle of a subscription or complicated software. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to secure their home or small business affordably and effectively.

good budget system if you know what you’re getting into
This is a decent starter setup, especially for the price. I only ended up using two of the four cameras since running wires through brick isn’t exactly easy. My house is already wired with CAT6 for POE cams, but after my Swann NVR gave out I lost interest in that setup. Could’ve gone the Blue Iris route with a POE switch and PC, but honestly, it’s more hassle than I feel like dealing with.Switching back to BNC felt like stepping into a time machine, but the truth is this older tech still works and it’s dirt cheap. Don’t expect anything fancy like AI motion alerts, full-color night vision, or 4K image clarity. This won’t read license plates or give you facial detail from a distance, but it does the job for basic monitoring.I was surprised it came with a 500GB drive for a little over 100 bucks. Not much space though, especially if you’re running all four cams at full res. I had a few 4TB purple drives sitting around and after a few formats it finally picked one up, so that’s a win. Just keep in mind you’re locked into four cams max, unlike NVRs that offer expansion. If you’re thinking long term or want better quality, POE is still the way to go. CAT6 is way easier to run and covers power, video, and audio in one shot. But if you want something cheap that just works, this system isn’t a bad place to start. As a matter of fact, using this is WAY safer then anything “WiFi” since any schmuck with a DeAuth device or even a $4 ESP-32 can bring down your network for fun or malicious reasons so it’s ALWAYS best to hardwire instead of using wireless. Only recommendation, use a VPN on your routers side and use a Vlan to communicate back to your NVR/DVR for lesser known brands as you’re technically giving them the master key to your home network and security cameras might I add. Anyways so your diligence and check out if X company had any vulnerabilities or breaches to their networks and also if they’re still even providing security patches and prepare to disconnect if they stop providing essential firmware updates to their systems.
