Bought It Again — Still the Best in Its Price Range!
This is actually my second Anker Bluetooth speaker, and I came back to the same model for a reason. My first one lasted a long time and survived everyday use, drops, travel, and being moved all around the house. The only reason I had to replace it was because my kids accidentally left it near the bathtub and it got completely soaked in water. An excellent “Speaker of the House”…and garage, recreational fire, etc…
I have no complaints at all about this little gem. I bought it 6 weeks ago, and just got around to using it. Nice sound tone and available volume. Surprising amount of bass for such a small unit. I’d like more, but that is something I can adjust with speaker placement, I’m sure. As I listen to it, I have to remember this thing is not a big room speaker at all, but the output is easily able to put out tunes at a level that is enjoyable. I read no instructions on set up, yet it was very intuitive and I was up and running within a couple minutes. I fumbled more with my Pixel 10 Pro’s bluetooth settings than with the speaker. Easy to understand control buttons on top, very compact and portable, the design is subtle as not to be a distraction from your decor, and seems durable and of good quality over all. IF it weren’t 20F outside, I’d set out at my backyard table and test the volume radius. As much punch as it has indoors, I’m sure it’ll be a fine companion for outdoor cooking. However, at the moment I’m listening to Tony Bennett singing Christmas songs, and the orchestrations are sounding awesome.

really great little BT speaker
sound is great, volume is great, battery life is great, size is great. i’ve had one for 10 years and still works. don’t use it a lot, backup when the internet is down and i can’t use my ‘smart’ speakers.so when the price came down recently i decided to get another. was thinking i could connect to both at the same time. oops, nope, they don’t support “LE” BT. guess i should have googled that before i bought it.and the new one has a different connector for charging – standard usbC (which is great) – but turns out the older one uses a mini USB so i still have to keep that oddball cable and a usbC around for the new one (which duh i have a whole box full because most everything comes with one).bottom line, for a great sounding BT speaker at a very good price, still glad i got another one.

If you enjoy music loud and clear, this little guy is for you. There is a lot to like. Solid, well-engineered piece. Simple to pair, controls are intuitive (power, volume +/-, next, pairing with Bluetooth. Also offers an AUX IN mini-phone plug for your wired devices. Phone call handling is straightforward. What you will notice: Web photos make it look like a mini-soundbar. It’s smaller than that. For the form factor, think “oversized stick of black rubber butter”. Slips inconspicuously into a backpack or suitcase.Sound: Working in the yard? Loud enough for that. Friends on the deck? Clean enough for that. Need a little kitchen music? Good for that. Potty break during a podcast? Portable enough for that. Do you get splashy in the bathroom? OK for that. Holds a charge for as long as you can stay awake. Now for the sound: It is not for kick and sizzle. They designed a box that would sound great for its size. If you like numbers, it’s tuned to deliver in the 200 Hz-5KHz range. Reviews mentioning great bass are exaggerations.We have hot tub that gurgles like crazy when the pump is running. I have a great Sony Bluetooth speaker that I take out there and it doesn’t outblast the tub. This Anker does. That’s impressive.I have purchased an assortment of Anker brand stuff. Cables, chargers, etc. They consistently make/market good stuff. If you want to hang a few words on this speaker: Value. Practical. Decent. And $30 during Prime days.

The Anker Soundcore 2 is excellent value for the price. The sound quality is clear for its size, the build feels solid, and the simple controls make it easy to use without any unnecessary features getting in the way. It’s compact enough to pack for travel and works great for casual listening on the go. The battery life is impressive and easily lasts through a full day of use. It’s not the loudest speaker and the bass is limited, but for a small, affordable travel speaker, it performs reliably and is well worth it.

Franchement, cette enceinte m’a surprise dans le bon sens. Le son est vraiment propre, les basses sont présentes sans être trop lourdes, et pour sa taille elle a une vraie puissance. Je l’utilise aussi bien à la maison que dehors et la portée Bluetooth tient super bien, même quand je bouge d’une pièce à l’autre.L’autonomie est top, je l’ai gardée allumée une journée entière sans problème. Et le fait qu’elle soit waterproof IPX7, c’est un vrai plus — je n’ai plus peur de l’approcher de la piscine ou de la salle de bain.Le seul petit point négatif, c’est qu’elle met parfois une seconde ou deux à se reconnecter automatiquement, rien de grave mais ça se sent. Et elle est un peu lourde si tu veux la transporter dans un sac à main, mais au moins ça montre qu’elle est solide.Globalement, c’est une super enceinte, fiable, simple à utiliser et avec un son vraiment agréable. Je ne regrette pas du tout.
