Low expectations more than exceeded. Good little device..
I bought this to get my HomePod mini up off the kitchen counter and away from inevitable kitchen messes and spills. It was cheap and I wasn’t expecting to be blown away or even impressed, but I was actually quite impressed with it.The HomePod doesn’t sit in very tight, but it’s tight enough to hold without issue. The plastic is fairly thin but should hold up fine as long as it’s not dropped to the floor with the HomePod still attached.The rear cable routing is genius and really makes for a clean install. The non-detachable cable on the HomePod is decently long, which is both a blessing and a curse. I’m my use case, I needed the cable out of the way so this device worked out perfectly for that.Sound quality doesn’t seem to be affected by being mounted vertically on the outlet, and there’s not any heat buildup or any electrical concerns with this particular mounting method being right up against the outlet and relying on the outlet for mounting strength.Overall very satisfied. For the price, you can’t really go wrong.

Looks and Works Great, but Sound Quality Takes a Hit
It works as advertised. It takes a little work, and patience, to get the power cable to fit in the back of it, but the plug and cable do fit. When plugged into the wall it looks nice and works well. However, as small as the plastic housing is, it muffles the sound. If you just use the HomePod as smart speaker this will not be an issue, but I use mine for playing music while working out and unfortunately had to return it.

I usually only write reviews if the product is really good or really bad. These work perfect for small spaces like a bathroom or in an area like we did in our dining room where I wanted one in four corners for music. Wish it was Amazon Prime but that is my one and only gripe.FYI I bought a couple from different sources, these are hands down the best. Keeps it clean looking with no messy cords.

Okay, this thing is legit!
Whoever created this thing is a genius! I have no idea how much trial and error it took to make this, but the fact that the spool thing on the back perfectly fits the cable and takes up every inch of it is truly incredible. This cleans up the whole look of the HomePod, and makes it sit nicely on the wall for voice controlling lights in my video studio. I’m a big fan.

Securing the cord is by far the most frustrating experience. I eventually had to put it down and save it for my teenager who set it down and saved it for Dad to tackle, who eventually completed the task but not sans a few choice phrases and sore thumbs. The stand itself works as advertised but I do feel the sound quality is muffled. All in all the product is just meh, cool idea, mediocre execution.

I like the concept of making the long cable disappear however the power brick doesn’t fit (too big) for this, so I tried my best to push it in – as per picture. Otherwise it would be 5 stars… 🙁

They would be great if the charger supplied by apple actually fit in the device. No amount of pushing will allow the charger to be inserted into its place. I have just purchased two brand new homepod minis and this does not work with them.
