Easy install and nice features
This was easy to install and so far it’s working great. I drilled holes through the wood bases where 2 cabinets met and ran the lights through the hole. I took other people’s advice and soldered wire to the light strip where I needed a jumper to run over the microwave and did not try to use the press on connectors. It’s only been a week, but so far it’s great. The dimmer options on the remote make a nice nightlight.

Tunable White & Dimmable – Great product
Easy to install unless you need to run power to the power supply cord. I’ve bought and installed 6-7 of these light kits – 3 pantries (down each side of the door frame and along the top), in a bar cabinet, bookshelves, under cabinets in 3 locations – and I am obviously addicted. You’ll likely need a roll of 20g low voltage 2-strand wire to run between sections of the light strip and I recommend the “25 pack solder-less LED Tape Connectors” to make installation easiest. I Love the range of white tones and brightness for various moods. Note: This appears to be the exact same product HD sells under a different brand name for about $60. I initially used those kits and can’t tell any difference other than labeling. Even the packaging is identical.

Great product, easy to install
I bought these because the driver could be directly wired and ran through a smart dimmer. Did have to purchase additional wiring and connectors but was very easy to install and run wiring. Adhesive is strong and I have not had any issues with them coming off. Very professional look for a fraction of the cost. Only problem I can say I ran into which is probably true to all peel and stick is the adhesive is on the contacts where you have to cut. Had to clean up the adhesive to get a good connection for the connectors. But not a big deal. Would recommend.

Exceeded expectations
Used for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. They have been installed for a few weeks now and I really like them. I have them hooked up to a kasa dimmer and (so far, knock on wood) it works flawlessly. Can’t comment on longevity yet but I’m hopeful. The transformer does get hotter then expected but the location I chose is open air so I don’t foresee any issues but will keep an eye on it. I saw some reviews that said they weren’t bright enough but these are actually way brighter then I was expecting which I was happy about. I like having more light then I need and dimming it down. I run these on 60% most of the time and it’s perfect. I wiped the area I was installing them with rubbing alcohol and then wiped that area again with a clean paper towel and made sure the area was totally dried. They stuck very well. Even had to reposition a section and it’s still sticking well. I did turn them on for a few minutes prior to installing so the glue would soften up some and promote adhesion. Then once installed I left them on for an hour or 2 and went back every so often and applied pressure everywhere to help set the glue. Highly recommend for the price. The transformer power cord comes installed but is easily removed and trimmed to length which I appreciated.

Great value
This package was purchased for undercabinet kitchen lighting. It was installed by an electrician as part of our kitchen reno. The lighting is adequate and works as described, and is a great value.

One stripe suffices in brightness for continuous cabinets
Right amount of sticky. Mounted to front overhang of entire cabinet run.Mounted power supply under cabinet; plugged into surface outlet mounted wired into old flourescent bulb wires.Could be a bit more flexible on that end. Considered snipping the AC cord and wiring direct.Full power one strip is enough for my brown eyed partner for “work”. Blue eyes like 50%.Brilliant morning / evening lighting with smart dimmer switch programmed “routine” with Alexa.

Not bright enough for my use case
I bought these to use as under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. Unfortunately, they don’t really fit my needs. The strip really doesn’t provide enough light for my purpose. This is specially true because I feel I need to use a diffuser because the LEDs are so widely spaced. You end up with many small bright reflections on the countertop, instead of a the spread out glow like the florescents they are replacing. The diffuser dims them a bit, though, so I’d end up with needing 3-4 strips and diffusers under each cabinet. That’s a pain.A few really good features, though: the light controller remembers its settings if you turn off its power. In my case, this is great, because I want to hook it up to the wall switch that controlled the florescent lights. Another great feature is that they do a color-tunable light with only two power pins. That makes finding connectors easy. I used a screw-terminal type block to connect these things, and had no issues whatsoever getting them to work. I switched to another COB-style tunable LED strip which is brigther and doesn’t need a diffuser. That has three pins, and that has given me nothing but problems trying to find connectors that work reliably. Finally, you can directly wire theSo, these would be perfect f they were COB-style or were a lot brighter (maybe 2x the LED density). I think the manufacturer’s web site advertises a denser strip, but it seems out of stock.

What more do you need, this kit kind of covers all of the basics you need to get started setting up LED kitchen lighting. It works great, light color is good and bright, the only thing you need to consider is additional connectors based on your project

Just plug in the light strip and it works. No power adapters required. I purchased this for the easy setup and white light. The colors will be a nice option I can use but mainly wanted it for white light and I didn’t want to have separate a power adapters. This is plug and play, easy setup and works great.

Bought this kit to add some under counter lighting. The kit had more than enough for my needs and are far brighter than expected. Very happy with the quality and the color. I did order the aluminum rails for mounting and it really finishes it nicely. Will be adding a TP-link dimmer switch

I read most of the reviews and it seems anybody who had success with these light strips cleaned the surface before hand with rubbing alcohol, so i did. The strips stick like mud to a blanket if you clean 1st. The lights themselves are the right colour for indirect cabinet lighting.Not to bright, not too dim. As the add says they are very easy to install. No problems. The clips work well if you crimp them down with a pair of pliers, not just by hand. My only complaint is the connection through the copper strips is very flimsy, when using the connectors. Knowing now what i didnt know then…solder is the best way to hook these up. All in all. they are a good set of lights as advertised.
