I’ve had this coffee maker for about one month and that’s enough time to learn all the good and bad things about it. I have to give this coffee maker two thumbs up. I absolutely love it. I’ve read other comments about how noisy it is or it doesn’t keep the coffee hot after brewing, etc, but I have not found those things to be true at all. Mine is quiet, and keeps the coffee plenty hot after brewing. Its easy to clean and I have discovered that if I fill the water to the weep hole in the back, I can get almost 14 cups out of this 12 cup coffee maker. The best part about this coffee maker is it makes very, very good coffee and no spill when you pour it into your cup. I haven’t found any bad things about it. It makes great coffee and easy to use, so I don’t know what more a person could ask for. I don’t know how long this coffee maker will last, but I sure love it. I’m going to buy another one to have as a “back-up” when this one gives out just in case this model will no longer be available. Yes sir, this dog will hunt. Y’all take care.One Year Update: I originally purchased this coffee maker in June of 2020 it is now July 2021 and it is still making great coffee without any problems. I’m an avid coffee drinker, so this coffee maker does get a workout. Still operates and performs just as it did the first day of use. Takes about 12 minutes to make a full pot of coffee and still tastes great and works great in all respects. I take care of it and do not abuse it. I clean it when it needs it and always use filtered water. Its wonderful. I have read many reviews, the good and the bad, and I respect all opinions and experiences that are shared, but for me…… all good here. In fact, all is great here. The last coffee maker I had lasted more than 15 years and I would have bought another one of those, but they don’t make it anymore. I expect this one to give me many years of service as well. Y’all take care.Two Year Update: July 1, 2022It’s still working great! Works the same as the day I received it. No problems. I’ll update again in 2023, y’all take care.Three year update: June1, 2023I purchased it in June 2020 and its been three years and happy to report that it is working great and I’m having a cup of coffee as i type this. I believe that coffee makers, at least most brands, last a long time if you take care of them. Yes, there are always going to be exceptions to that rule, but keep them clean and give it a vinegar flush at least three times per year and as stated earlier, I only use filtered water. I won’t be giving anymore yearly updates, but I will update again when, and if, this coffee maker stops working. Hope this review gives some insight as to my experience thus far. Y’all take care.

Simple and to the point.
I tried all the fancy coffeemakers and after spending a few hundred dollars on a name brand that only lasted 1 year, I decided to go back to basics and I’m glad I did. The quality is simple, nothing fancy here. The body is thin so it saves space. Brewing time is only about 10 minutes for a full 12 cups. The timer is simple, the programing is simple, and it’s now my favorite device in the house because it will never give me trouble.

Solid Coffee Maker
This is the same basic programmable coffee pot B&D has sold for decades. It’s replacing an earlier B&D model that works exactly the same and was 13 years old. Programming is easy, especially if you’ve had earlier versions of this coffee maker. This model does take a bit longer than other models to brew a pot, but that’s mainly due to the water delivery system in it, I think. The coffee is worth waiting for, it’s got a good taste. It comes out as hot as any drip maker I had too.I can see why other reviews are negative about the design and durability; but they’re not right. The previous B&D maker I had was 13 years old and just getting replaced because it was getting old and gross. It feels like cheep plastic and it’s light, but the thing is… this is a drip maker. That’s what they are. That’s why this is inexpensive. It’s a workhorse though. 13 years, no problems, used daily.Over all, this is a great coffee maker. Solid design and will last for years. It’s got a good size for the kitchen with no large footprint and is easily moved around as needed.

Basic coffee pot capable of making a large, hot pot of black goodness that helps me ‘get through this thing called life’. I am going all the way (5 star) for this basic drip maker. Obviously you can spend $400 and get a superior machine but in the basic coffee pot category? This one is great. Our last machine was so bad we celebrated when it died.Our last pot went through paper towels and cuss words like they were in competition with each other. Trying to pour from the carafe was a bloody nightmare with coffee dribbling off the pot mid pour. I hated that friggn thing. So did my hubs. This pot is so easy to pour from. It makes NO MESS.This one is easy to pour water into the back. There is no missing the pour area unless maybe you are drunk. (Note: Resulting cup of coffee may vary if/when there is alcohol involved.)It has a standard reusable basket for grounds right in the front that is super easy to clean, etcThe auto shut-off works TOO GOOD for all day drinkers. I appreciate the safety feature regardless. It does it’s job. I just have to keep turning it on. That is a personal preference that has more to do with my addiction than it does the integrity of the coffee pot.It has a timer so you can have that baby cooking up your first morning pot while you are still drooling on your pillow.Anyways, Good pot, good coffee. I really hope his one lasts longer than the last one. If it doesn’t, I will probably look for an upgraded pot with the same carafe.Good luck!

It’s making our coffee well. Keeps it warm for a long time after. It’s easy to clean, I recommend a good clean weekly with a water only no coffee run to remove any stains and build up inside. Makes a lot of coffee too.
