Simple and Versitile
I am impressed and happy with the purchase of my Braun MultiServe Plus Coffee Maker. After a few weeks of use, I wanted to write a review to express how much better this model is than my prior drip coffee machine (not a Braun). I typically make my coffee in the traditional hot way, and it’s as simple as a click of the dial to make a cup, a whole carafe, or anything in between. The coffee tastes delicious and is so easy to make. No filter paper is required, and it makes a steaming cup of Joe so quickly. Then it keeps it warm with a customizable countdown for the next cup. It’s easy to read and super simple to program, so you have your delicious coffee waiting for you in the morning.I recently started experimenting with Cold Brew and Iced Coffee. This machine does that! It does take a bit longer, but it’s just as simple. A cold coffee was a refreshing change for me. It even has a Golden Coffee setting, which I will eventually graduate to as I am still enjoying the hot, iced, and Cold Brew. The cleanup is very easy, and I enjoy having a dependable pot of coffee each morning.

I am so excited about my new Braun coffee machine that will make COLD BREW in 13 minute This is going to be game changer for summer in Alabama’s. I love being able to make a single cup of coffee or a pot of coffee. So many options that it eliminates several other appliances that I have. So happy that it answers a lot of my wants.I have used a regular drip coffee pot, a pod single serve coffee maker and cold brew pitcher.I was very excited to combine all of the appliances into one! It is a standard that has to meet rigorous technical requirements using the black filter basket. I did notice that the coffee pot is taller than our drip coffee maker. I have a super cute coffee station in the corner of our kitchen. I love it! Let’s make coffee!Fill the reservoir with water. I have a tap that provides reversed osmosis water. However the charcoal filter is wonderful for someone that is using tap water. To have good quality filtered water. I used 11 small scoops of coffee to make 22oz of cold brew coffee in the carafe. Placed scoops of coffee into the gold tone filter. Choose beverage size selector to half carafe. Pressed control panel to choose cold brew. Turned the lever to coffee to begin process. Cold brew coffee finished. I prepared coffee per my preferences, sugar and milk. I then added 30% ice as recommended in the directions voilà! Refreshing, tasty, fast, satisfying cold brew coffee. The. time on the Braun multiserve coffee maker I started at 11:40am and finished completely at 12:02pm. It only took 22 minutes even with me providing you instructions. The instruction says it takes 13 minutes to make the cold brew. I am very excited that it was quick and Not 3 days like a cold brew pitcher.Yes, I recommend this product

Great coffee but lost function quickly
I had a Braun coffee pot that lasted me over twenty years. It went to multiple countries with me, went on a Navy ship and made gallons of great coffee. One day sadly it died. It was horrible. Not much could be done. It just gave out. So, we decided to get another Braun product and bought this one. After about three months, it gave us the H2O error code. We had cleaned it. We took care of it and did everything according to the instructions and what we could find online. The Braun customer service line was no help. Zero. Nada. To my discredit, I forgot to register it. So, after a while, it also started blowing coffee out of the side where the spout meets the urn. I believe that it has a large issue with the water pump and had an issue with air in the lines. It is not fixable like the common coffee drip maker. It became irritating because it made a mess, threw error codes and took a long time to make a cup of coffee. So, we bought a simpler Braun. We have had it for about three months with no issues. Bottom line, this coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee, but it ended up in the trash due to lack of functionality. Braun should seriously reconsider their consumer service, but that’s just how it goes in 2025…few companies truly back their merchandise. Maybe there is another route that I could have taken, but life gets busy and I needed coffee. Buy at your own risk. If my present Braun doesn’t measure up to its deceased ancestor, I will have to switch brands get a divorce from Braun.

Excellent coffee maker. Makes very good coffee, whether a cup, half pot or pot. Have not had any issues with the temperature like in some reviews – comes out hot. When making a pot, the warmer stays on for 2 hours and the clock turns into a timer. At 2 hours what’s left in the pot is still warm, not as hot as when first made but I would not expect that. We like the choice for different sizes, but you just have to remember to change the size selection, so I put on a little sticker as a reminder.

Makes a nice hot pot of coffee. You can program the warmer for up to 5 hours which is great at our home as we get up at different times. Easy to set up. Easy to clean. No drips of coffee from the pot and an easy to clean pot lid. Looks nice on the counter and fits under cabinet. Very pleased so far.

I must say, the superior German quality makes a difference. It is definitely one of the rare products that offers the best brewing, the ideal temperature and the most delicious filter coffee like Philips’ machines. The brewing options also make life easier, it is definitely well thought out to brew directly into your thermos at home or when going out. With Tim Hortons’ Colombian beans or Illy’s coffees, you can achieve the best results in the world. As a coffee enthusiast, I must say that I particularly like the above brands because of their quality differences. The machine also offers a cold coffee option for hot summer days, so if you’re a coffee lover, buying this along with an automatic coffee machine will allow you to prepare all your coffee options at home.

We replaced our old coffee maker (still working) with this model. We liked the hot water dispenser as a feature. It makes most coffee sizes exactly as advertised, EXCEPT it does not make a half or full carafe of coffee as advertised. This was mentioned in another review. We measured the amounts with both bold & gold settings. We made coffee at the half setting which made 25oz of coffee (3 – 8oz cups, not 4 cups). At the full setting, we got 64oz of coffee (8 – 8oz cups, of 10 cups). We’re considering what to do about it – return the product or live with the problem.
