Excellent travel steamer!
What an amazing steamer!!! We travelled all over Europe and the USA and never ironed anything. This steamer worked great!! It was a little bulky and just slightly heavy but completely worth it. The steam is very hot so use caution. I think that’s why it works so well. It also heats up super fast. However, Two things I would caution. 1. Do not overfill with water. It gets very hot and the water splashes if it is too full. Fill only to the max line. 2. When adding more water, turn off the steamer, unplug it and use a towel or something to take off the top steamer part. I did this as an easy way to refill the water.

Compact Powerhouse – Conair Travel Steamer
I recently took the Conair Travel Steamer for Clothes on my trip to France, and I must say, this “little” steamer truly packs a punch! With the recent bed bug scares in Paris and other cities, I found an unexpected but incredibly useful application for it – steaming hotel beddings. The steamer worked wonders in providing peace of mind and ensuring a clean, bug-free environment. But the real test came with my decision to travel light, carrying only a single bag for my two-week journey. This meant I had to regularly steam out wrinkles from my clothes and hand wash them as needed. The Conair steamer was up to the task every single day. Not only did it effortlessly smooth out wrinkles, but it also did an excellent job in airing out any stale smells. My outfits felt, looked, and smelled fresh and new again, as if they had just come from a professional laundry service. What impressed me most about this steamer is its compact size, which makes it incredibly easy to pack, and its powerful performance, which rivals larger, bulkier steamers. It heats up quickly and provides a consistent steam flow, making it super efficient and easy to use.Overall, the Conair Travel Steamer is a travel essential I didn’t know I needed but now can’t imagine traveling without. It’s perfect for anyone looking to keep their clothes fresh and wrinkle-free on the go. Highly recommend for its versatility, effectiveness, and ease of use!

Good but be careful
Does its job well. Just be careful not to tip it too far or super hot water can leak out and burn you.

a bit small, but very good product otherwise
Works great, heats up fast, simple to use. Removes wrinkles very well, steam is very uniform, no splashing droplets or anything. Only issue is that it can hold a VERY small amount of water. Otherwise it is great

Works great!
Wow, this travel steamer works great in the UK and the USA. The thing I’ll miss the most about the UK, though, is the 220 volt electrical supply!that makes all the appliances heat up so quickly! This steamer is very lightweight, effective, and heats up super quickly in the UK. Like all my dual voltage appliances, this takes longer to heat up in the USA than in the UK. But that’s not the fault of the appliance. The handle is sturdy when in use but collapses with the press of a button.Yes, the area you can steam with one pass is rather small, but I’ve been doing just one athleisure polo or long sleeve SPF shirt each morning. So my garments have only been thin ones. I don’t know how well this would work on cotton, but I almost never wear cotton garments anymore, so it’s not an issue for me.Of course, because it’s small, you really can only do 1-2 lightweight articles of clothing before you need to refill the water reservoir. To do that, you need to let it cool down (or use a very think oven mitt?) so you can remove the top to get to the reservoir. So if you need to steam more than 2 articles of clothing at a time, or if you’re doing 100% cotton, this may not be the appliance for you. However, this has been working out great for me. I am pretty much just steaming one shirt every morning during my trip. This is also super easy to pack and has not leaked yet that I have noticed. Of course, I have emptied it before putting it in my luggage. I think if you don’t empty it, water would flow out where the steam comes out.I definitely recommend this item!

Steamer leaked from the bottom and was unusable
The Conair steamer worked great for a bit. However, it started leaking from the bottom and I was unable to use it at all!

THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD…LOL
I’ve had this for well over a year now and when I tell you that this is the most durable and easy to use steamer I’ve had the pleasure of using, I’m being serious. It heats up fairly quickly and it’s pretty powerful in terms of output. Great buy, you WON’T be disappointed. As the title says…the little engine that could

Dual-voltage didn’t work while traveling and design gives me safety concerns for home use
The Conair steamer was unfortunately a waste of money and luggage space. I give it a one-star because it did not meet the basic objective in use while travel, and its poor design does not make it a decent substitute for anything I would use at home. First, a product description for context: it is a simple plastic bottle with a plug and a folding chair-like grip. It has no on/off or settings. You plug it in and it should start to boil water and the resulting steam comes out of the top. The top part has small grooves and it is easy to misalign when trying to put it on. For home use, it is small and you wouldn’t leave it plugged in for more than a few seconds, as it will continue to boil the water empty. I would feel it is not safe for regular use compared to other options. An on/off switch would help. I would also look for something that makes a basic effort at the handle because it is designed for folding, not holding and the bottle is literally boiling hot once you have it going so you’re not going to hold it anywhere other than the handle. The reason I got this was to have something for travel. I travel a lot outside the US, and it claims to have dual voltage. So, that was the draw for me. Frankly, I don’t know why you would use this unless your are traveling. Problem I had in my trip to Europe was that it oddly would not hold the electrical charge long enough to boil. It would warm, but not boil, which is odd because the voltage in Europe is much higher and brings ordinary water pots to a boil much faster. I tried multiple sockets, including ones where I had other things plugged in. This simply didn’t work. I never got sufficient steam to do a simple dress shirt. At over $60, I thought I was getting something more reliable.

Haven’t traveled abroad yet with this, but very pleased so far. LIghtweight and very compact. Was worried if the collapsible handle would be made well but it is. There is a release button on the top to lock or collapse the handle and the mechanism seems nice and solid. Heats up fast and emits plenty of steam even with just one row of holes. Easy to open and fill. Don’t need the brush attachment but others may find a use for it. This is the smallest, lightest travel steamer I have purchased. Hope it stays in Conair’s lineup permanently.

Easy to use and works okay? Some wrinkles are harder to smooth out and at first try it didn’t seem to work… but tried again and it seemed fine. Have used a couple of times on light dresses. Haven’t tried on any heavier fabrics yet.
