Why doesn’t the DAYBETTER smart light bulb support 5G Wi-Fi?
Compared to 5GHz Wi-Fi, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi has the advantages of higher signal strength, better compatibility, and wider coverage, making it more suitable for smart homes.
Why the bulb loses connection(offline) frequently?
1. Get device closer to router. Relocate bulb or router. Best distance is within 30ft. (2.4ghz WIFI only)
2. Delete this device from DAYBETTER app, reset it, and power it off for hours, then reconnect it.

this item is very great it easily connected with your Wi-Fi and also my family really enjoys it. It works very well with Amazon Alexa I definitely give this a five star if I could I’d give it a higher rating strongly recommend everybody buy this you can play with it for hours. There’s so many colors of lights my baby loves it. My girlfriend loves it in my family loves it. and it’s a really good price for 10 lightbulbs.

Best light bulbs!
Got these for my parents who are in their 60’s. They have loved them thoroughly! My dad loves playing with them more than anything. The app makes it so easy to use, great for vacation too as you can set timers, manually operate them from a distance, & change all sorts of settings from the app. They are easily adjustable via the app or Alexa so you can manipulate the color, warmth, brightness, etc. and you can even name them through the app so you can control them with your voice through Alexa. There are so many more features I didn’t even cover, but this was a good price for the quantity and quality. They are also LED which should help with the electric bill. You can change them to any color you want with the hue on the app or you can tell Alexa to change the color which is cool for special events, holidays, etc. Setting them up was super easy with the installation guide. Love these and highly recommend! I will never have a regular light bulb again. I also have these at my house.

Game Changer!
These were the 1st bulbs I purchased to use with alexa. They were so very easy to install and navigate without being so tech savvy. Alexa works well with the lights. She will turn on and off with ease. Even dims and changes colors as requested. The color changing modes such as “Christmas” or “birthday” she does not understand just yet. But you can access those modes in the daybetter app.

The bulbs were easy to set up. I set them to be on sunrise to sunset and it works fine. There are many options to set timers. The colors are good yet there is a cool white setting. I recommend these bulbs. The app works great and at a great price.

I can’t recommend them
Eh. They work with Google Home once you connect your Google Account to Daybetter. They are responsive. I can’t say they don’t work. However, during recent notable widespread web and cloud provider outages, these experienced delays when I controlled them with the Google Home app. During these web outages, the Google Home app would load fine, but would also take several seconds longer to refresh the bulb status. Then I’d press a button in Google Home, and there would sometimes be an equal delay until the bulb responded. Google Home would work fine with my other brand of smart bulb connected. Opening the Daybetter app would show the exact same lag as controlling it in Google Home. These periods of and fussiness became so frequent that I decided to stop using them in favor of a different brand. I can’t recommend them but they work if I need them to.
