Some things to help with your decision making:HOW TALL, REALLY: It wasn’t as tall as I expected, running only 21″ high with a tight bend at the top and pushing it forward about 6″. So it JUST squeaks above a larger size Mac screen. But with the right bend, the lamps will not put glare on the screen at all, and not be visible to your eyes or eyeglasses, perfectly lighting the desk/keyboard area in front of the screen.HOW WIDE: As described, but for reference, on a Mac screen it runs about 4″ past either side.HOW STURDY IS CLAMP: Very sturdy. It’s got a nice 2×1″ area and an easy to tighten screw plate, with rubber protection on both. It needs about 3.5″ clearance under any clamp surface. It can go as wide as 1-1/2″ total (subtract the height of the desk/riser thickness). If you have fancy moulding edges you’ll have to figure things out. Best used on a straight edge. I use a riser that’s 3.5″ high and it worked perfectly. Really I wanted to clamp on to the desk, but the lamp arm height didn’t allow for it. It holds the 1/2″ thick laminated Flakeboard riser very snugly. It is a sturdy clamp.ON/OFF VIA EXTERNAL SWITCH IS POSSIBLE. I use a power control center under my riser, to switch on things like the lamp, speakers, charging ports, etc. It’s always been more convenient than finding on/off switches on lamps. The switches on this are NOT lighted, and somewhat dim gray, so you’ll be squinting to see where they are. For me, though, I just keep in ON always, and flip the power control center switch (that it’s plugged into). Good news, it restores as powered on. So if you use an external power breaker, it works with that.BRIGHTNESS / COLOR TOGGLES ARE SEQUENTIAL UP/DOWN. This is really nice. Rather than LOOPING (dimmest, dim, brighter, brightest, loop back to dimmest, brighter…), these go UP and DOWN (dimmest, dim, brighter, brightest, then backwards to brighter, dim, dimmest, with more steps between). So you can fine tune both to get the perfect setting. If you want to momentarily switch brighter or dimmer, there’s no dual switches for both. So you have to track the counts up and down to get back to a setting. I usually set and forget, so it worked out perfectly to fine tune what I wanted.BRIGHTNESS OVERALL IS AMAZING. I don’t know who would want brighter than the brightest setting. I’m at about 2 under it, with a warmer setting, and my eyes are so bad (nearsighted with reading glasses) that I really need the light. It is equivalent to room lights in the ceiling, but without any shadows. Perfect.NO NOISE OR BUZZING. I read that some lights have an annoying high pitch squeal. None here. My hearing is crap too (ex drummer, so I actually hear that high pitch ALL the time). But wife’s hearing is perfect, and she hears EVERYTHING that can annoy. She reported nothing. I trust she’s right.IT DOES NOT GET “HOT”. Again, some users of other lamps complain “it gets really hot”. After 8 hours of use, it’s still cool to the touch. The LED’s are also within a channel area, so you really have to WANT to get burned by sticking your fingers in there. These are the same adult people who still put their hands on a hot stove I guess. I can’t say whether the LED’s get hot to touch, because I know better than to check. But the METAL BAR itself does NOT.ONE THING I STILL HAVE TO GET USED TO:After always having a lamp way up high or off to the side, having this BAR right above the screen is taking a while to get used to. But I’m sure over time I won’t even notice it. And honestly, it’s only because the ROOM lights illuminate the top edge of the matte black material.USER QUIRKS NOT PRODUCT DEFECTS… BUT…. You can easily touch the timer button during settings. It DOES light up with a tiny blue LED. If that happens, touch again to switch that off. Or else, yes, the light will go off after a certain about of time! Also, I’m not using the wave motion on/off at all. But when trying to get the lamp head positioned perfectly, I guess my hand waved at it, and it shut off, then back on, then off. That said, I haven’t been able to get the wave to touch to actually WORK except by that accident. I won’t use it, so I don’t care. But if it’s a big deal to you to do that… it didn’t seem to work.

Perfect desk lamp
This lamp is exactly what I needed. I have two monitors, stacked one above the other, and this lamp is able to reach over both of them and provide the perfect amount of light that I need to work and do video calls. The adjustable tones and brightness are great for different times of the day, as the monitors are in front of a large window and I get afternoon sun. The remote is a bonus, as is the motion-sensor for turning it on and off. Best of all, it comes fully assembled. All you have to do is adjust the height, clamp it on the desk, and plug it in. This a a great deal.

Worth It!
This lamp is fantastic! I have been using for several months, and I love it! It has a motion sensor…wave your hand it it turns on/off. It also has a hand remote that sits on the desktop for adjustments. There are several levels of brightness and color. I also love that it hangs well above my 2-32″ monitors and lights my entire desk top. Really a great purchase!

Great, well-built lamp.
I’ve had this lamp for several months now and it is great. It’s tall enough to reach over my monitors that are raised to a eye-level. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box is the build quality. It just feels solid and well built. The clamp that attaches it to the desk is well thought out since it’s design makes it easy for one person to tighten without having to get under the desk. The lamp’s brightness and color temperature settings more than meet my needs and do a great job of lighting up my desk. I didn’t think I’d get much use out of the motion sensor that let’s you wave your hand in front of the left side of the lamp to turn it on and off, but I use it all the time.

Excellent monitor light bar, but needs better mounting options
Been using this light now for over a year. My home workspace has a large window and so plenty of light during day, but the location of my desk and monitors was resulting my physical desktop being too dark. At night, I couldn’t set up ambient light with lamps that would not glare off my monitors. Result was a lot of eye strain and just overall unpleasant workspace.My requirements for a monitor lamp/light bar:- Could be mounted to my quad 27″ monitor setup (2 above 2)- Illuminate my desk-space without shining directly in my eyes or glaring off the monitor- Adjustable brightness and “temperature”, for day v. night work.This monitor light bar has been exactly what I needed, functionally. What I like:- Flexible arm is easy to adjust for fine tuning position, but rigid enough that it holds indefinitely.- Controls right on the light bar, easy to reach and adjust, soft-touch so I don’t move the light when adjusting.- Wave hand to turn on/off- Brightness and temperature ranges fit my needs. I can have a softer, dimmer light at night; but crank up brightness and temperature during the day.- The narrow band of light created by the bar is perfect for me, I can position it so that it does not glare off my monitors, and doesn’t shine in my eyes, but illuminates my keyboard and desk workspace perfectly.The only complaint I have, and reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is mounting options. See picture for what I had to end up doing. The extension pole included was not long enough for my quad 27″ monitor setup. The top of my monitors is about 34″ above my desk. Longer mounting pole options might have made the light too wobbly, however. The next option was to mount the light to my monitor arm system, but because the clamp has no swivel adjustment, I had to mount to a horizontal monitor arm. It worked, but a better option would have been for the kit to include side-clamp options or the clamp being on a ball-socket swivel to allow clamping to a vertical member.Overall, this has been functionally a great light. But if you have a complicated monitor setup, you may need get creative with how to mount it.

Ich habe mir die Lampe für mein Homeoffice Büro gekauft.Große Erwartungen hatte ich nicht, da es ja eine ganz normale Lampe ist.Doch dann wurde ich überrascht. Die Lampe lässt sich für jede Situation gut einstellen. Der “Night Light Modus” macht die Arbeit im Dunkeln angenehm, ist aber auch vor dem Dienst nützlich (beispielsweise um schon einmal ein Getränk bereitzustellen). Bei eingeschaltetem Monitor sorgt der “Reading Mode” bereits bei geringer Helligkeitsstufe für so viel Licht, dass der Monitor nicht ermüdend wirkt. Je nach Gusto kann die Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur stufenweise angepasst werden.Und jetzt das Geniale, nicht nur am Gerät, sondern auch an der Fernbedienung. Und dieses, zuerst als nutzloses Zubehör eingestufte Teil, macht die Bedienung umso komfortabler. Alle Einstellungen können direkt am Tisch gemacht werden, ohne die Lampe zu berühren. Zwar ist diese durch den Schwanenhals flexibel einstellbar und wird durch Anticken nicht direkt verstellt, aber durch die Fernbedienung muss man diese gar nicht erst berühren.Und dann ist da noch der Sensor. Einmal per Geste vor dem Sensor gewischt lässt sich die Lampe ein-und ausschalten. Und das wieder vollkommen ohne Kontakt.Wie man rauslesen kann, bin ich von dieser Lampe absolut begeistert. Meine Frau hat sich ebenfalls eine bestellt.Tolle Bedienung, schönes Design, und perfektes Licht für jede Situation.Einzig der eingebaute Timer hat für mich keinen Nutzen. Dies mag aber bei anderen Anwendern anders sein.Lieber die Funktion haben, als sie zu brauchen.

Super lampa. Szczególnie cenię tryb nocny, świetnie sprawdza się gdy jest małe dziecko i chcemy mieć taki pół mrok. Fajny jest też tryb żółtego światła, moje oczy nie lubią białego/niebieskiego światła.Plusem jest pilot, gdzie mogę od razu ustawić np tryb nocny.Jedna gwiazdka mniej niestety za cenę.

Top – super Produkt, einfach Spitzenklasse und empfehlenswert. Technisch sehr gut durchdacht (u.a. Gestensteuerung, auch abschaltbar; Fernbedienung usw.). Bin wirklich begeistert über diese Leuchte zu diesem Preis. Hatte zwar vorab echt bedenken wg. möglicher Blendungen (direkt, oder indirekt via Monitore), aber hat sich nicht bewahrheitet, d.h. ist so gut einstellbar, dass definitiv keine Blendungen bei mir vorhanden sind. Habe allerding nur 2 große Bildschirme nebeneinander und nicht übereinander wie in den Bildern (da kann ich mir Blendungen dann schon vorstellen, da die Teleskopstange dann je nach Höhe weit raus muss und somit das Licht von sehr weit oben kommt; aber mir ist alles OK).Meine Monitore: 2x 27‘‘ mit Höhe Oberkante (ab Tischkante) ca. 47 cm, Leuchte bei ca. 62 cm (Teleskopstange noch fast komplett drin).Oberfläche: super Haptik, sehr schönes Material (raues, mattschwarzes Alu, wirklich sehr edel, kein Plastik, Schwanenhals ist sehr gut einzustellen/zu verbiegen, gute Gummierung/sehr gutes Material; Übergänge sehr schön ausgeführt). Die Bedienung ist super, vor allem durch die kleine Fernbedienung (sonst wäre es direkt an der Leuchte nicht ganz so optimal, geht aber auch gut).Gestensteuerung: wollte diese zuerst sofort abschalten, verwende diese aber jetzt und ist super zum ein-ausschalten im Dunkeln, verwende dann anschließend die Fernbedienung auf dem Tisch, sofern notwendig.An die Steuerung der Helligkeit und Farbe (Stufen) muss man sich zuerst etwas gewöhnen/umstellen, da bei dieser etwas anders als bei anderen LED-Leuchten (wenn der max bzw. min Wert erreicht wurde), aber man hat den Dreh schnell raus wie es funktioniert.Ich kann diese Leuchte wirklich sehr empfehlen. Hoffe jetzt noch auf lange Lebensdauer (Daumen drücken), was für eine sehr gute Tischleuchte zu einem erstaunlich günstigen Preis, bin total begeistert, obwohl ich vorab etwas skeptisch war. Definitiv klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!
