I was looking for an energy saving led that would dim down to very dim – to light my hallway at night. This bulb works perfectly for that. The white light is fairly bright if needed but dims down to levels to where it is not overbearing at night if I get up to use the restroom. The colors are even dimmer and provide great options for changing it up now and then. The remote works perfectly all the buttons do exactly what they are supposed to do, it is not intermittent or cheap like you might expect at this price. Fits a regular bulb socket perfectly. I am absolutely happy I chose this bulb and I may purchase another one or two. You can’t go wrong with this bulb it’s a bargain.

Remote does not have a lot of range
I bought this for a lamp I have in my living room. It works fine and I really like the color variations. For the price and what it does I think it’s worth it. The only thing I didn’t like is that the signal from the remote can’t reach past 8 feet. So if you’re very comfortable on your couch and the bulb is past those 8 feet then your are going to have to get up and get closer to either turn it off or change light color. To me, that really defeats the purpose of the remote. Like I said, it works fine if you’re within those 8 feet. So that’s the reason I gave 3 stars.
