I have only just installed the product. So this review is not based on weeks or months of use. But the instructions were clear. And it does seem to be a very well built TV mount. There was no play in any of the swivel points. Everything leveled out nicely. There were no weird problems in installing it. It installed fairly easily, as easily as one could hope for with regards to this type of mount. Beware, that it is a heavy device. Once I had the holes drilled, lifting by myself and keeping in place was doable, but could be a little difficult for a smaller person. It’s heavy, because it’s built well. While I didn’t need to use it, there is a leveling feature on it which allows you to rotate it slightly clockwise or counterclockwise to make it level.My only complaint is that there is a bit more space between the back of the TV and the wall that I would have liked. 3-4 inches. But that’s the nature of a sturdy full swivel TV mount. With all of the hefty hinges and swing arms behind it, it’s unavoidable that there will be space there. I do feel that it is securely mounted. Also, it appears that my 53 pound 65″ TV was easily and sturdily supported by this mounting system. But that is well under its rated support range of 125 pounds.

When we first purchased our 65″ Samsung TV, we had quite a bit of trouble finding a wall mount that would work, given the wall setup where we needed to mount it. The area borders on a pocket door, and so the stud centering is about 21″ on center. Not all TV mounts can accommodate that kind of span. So, although we found some full-motion mounts that would work, they were absolutely cost-prohibitive ($350+). We instead opted for a cheaper mount that only allowed for tilt adjustment. This mount worked fine, but it didn’t exactly hug the wall and the movement was extremely limited.In more recent years, we’ve noticed that when looking at the TV from an extreme angle, the picture is a bit washed out, so I renewed my search for a better mount, when I happened upon this one. Seeing as how it is well-priced (relative to the others I’ve had looked at), I wasn’t expecting much – especially since some of the reviewers indicated dissatisfaction with some of the features. I’m glad I didn’t let the naysayers dissuade me.First off, this mount is very easy to install. They include detailed instructions, all the hardware you’d need, and a template to make sure that you’re dead-on with your lag bolts. You will of course need a stud sensor, and it’s going to be critically important that you hit dead-center on the stud, so a little care and attention to detail is warranted. But once the brackets are properly mounted (both to the TV and the wall), the rest is a cake walk. Every imaginable adjustment is available, so you do need to take your time and lock in those adjustments you won’t frequently use. For me that is the tilt and level adjustment.Once you’ve got it setup, the motiom is smooth and fluid. When I’m sitting in my recliner, which is almost at a 90 degree angle from the TV, I can pull the TV away from the wall and position it exactly as I like. This is particularly great for video games. The mount itself is a little on the heavy side, but is quality-made. All the motions are smooth and well-weighted. If you just want it flat against the wall, the space it consumes is shockingly narrow. Even with the entire screen having a bit of a tilt (to prevent glare), it still has less of a gap to the wall than the previous mount that had very little adjustment at all. In summary, I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase. It’s not cheap, but relative to the other mounts on the market, it’s very well-priced and well-made

We bought this to hang our 55″ TV.We chose this model to fit the bolt pattern on our TV and after finishing the install, we are confident this is a good product. This appears to be well made and good quality.The mount is packaged very well, we had no concerns anything inside was damaged, and there is a great selection of screws and spacers. The lag bolts were good quality.The instructions are the best : clear, well written, good pictures, and they have some fun too.As the product claims, this is very easy to install. The template is accurate and makes this a quick job (once you find the centre of your studs). If you are unsure at all, watch the installation video – it’s only a few minutes long and is a reliable demonstration of all the steps.The mount moves smoothly when pulled away from the wall and pushed back in.Great options for extending out from the wall, tilting down, changing viewing angle – all the product descriptions for range of motion are accurate and easy to adjust.

I poured over many reviews and Q and A’s for all kinds of different TV mounts on Amazon, google searching “Best Of” and review sites, checking out many big-box stores, etc etc. and finally decided on ECHOGEAR. I’m glad I did. The price was right, the mount is super sturdy, and the instructions are crystal clear. The company also has a great sense of humour. All big wins!Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. The instructions are excellent. This mount is sturdy! I love the fact that it extends out 22″ – just what I was looking for – a good solid mount that retracts very close to the wall, yet extracts way out so I can turn my TV to see it from the other room (while making supper or eating at the table).I’ve included photos with my new 55″ Samsung TV on it. We’ll be looking for a nice table to go underneath the TV now and repurpose the old stand. A nice cable cover for the wall and things will look even better.I purchased this so I have the option of putting a much larger (and heavier) TV on it in the future.My TV is in very safe hands – this thing ain’t going nowhere!
