Excellent product!
I waited to do testing on these before I left a comment. I’ve had three of them in operation for a while now and am very pleased. I even put one inside of my welding shop (metal building), about 75 yards from my home, about 6 feet from a south facing window and even that one keeps fully charged and is working perfectly. I have them set on medium sensitivity. Great product!(Follow-up) I have had these in operation for 7 or 8 months now and they still work perfectly! I have recommended these to several of my friends. Excellent product!

If you are buying a replacement, READ THIS.!
These work great and have much better range than others i’ve tried over the years. My furthest sensor is about 400 feet from the base station that’s inside the house and reception is reliable. I also purchased an additional kit just for the extra base station so I can also hear the alerys in the house. Works well.But…The company changed the design completely and there is no indication of that in the description. If you have existing eMacros units, this new one is not compatible. My older sensor failed so I wanted to order a replacement from Amazon.I looked up my previous purchase on the Amazon dashboard and chose “Buy Again” and purchased but the one I received is 100% incompatible with my existing units. There is no indication in the product description this is a different product.1. The new unit has a USB-C charging port, not Micro-USB like the previous version. So my existing hard-wired power setup has to be re-done.2. The older sensors will not pair with the new base station making them useless with the new product (or vice-versa). They must have changed the frequency. So I have to buy all new to get the same functionality.3. The mounting bracket has been changed and is different than the old model.4. The new alert is a combined recorded voice and tone, in English only. If you don’t want the voice alert and just the tone, you are out of luck.5. The new unit does not have battery backup (which is important for me–our power goes out frequently). No power, no alarm. That means you can’t carry the base station out into the yard to aim and test the sensors. That’s a major limitation.6. Despite the rubber cover on the bottom, the sensors are not rain-proof *at all*. If you decide to purchase, be sure to mount the sensor where it will not get wet (rain, sprinklers, dew). It will fail fairly quickly.I would buy again but wish the company made the changes to the design very clear in the product description.

Peace of Mind
Purchased this item for peace of mind. My driveway is about 1000 feet long and through a wooded area so knowing when someone enters the property is a necessity. I was a bit skeptical at first, but this unit performs flawlessly. I installed one sensor at the gate and another halfway up the drive in order to rule out triggering by the many deer on the property. If you need to know when someone arrives this unit will do the trick. Super easy to install and set up.

Works great for a long driveway.
Bought to use on our long driveway to alert us of someone coming. It works great and love all the available choice of alerts. Easy to install and set up. You can easily change the volume and settings. It blends nicely into the surrounds so that it is not easily seen.

Installed in FEB 2025; still working great
My driveway is about 1/8 mile long. I installed 2 of these motion alarms: one at the entrance gate and one half way to the house. The idea is to verify actual vehicles coming to the house. Since there are a lot of deer on my property, they tend to set off a lot of false alarms. But they will almost never set off the first alarm and then the second a few seconds later, like a vehicle coming up my driveway will. So this is a pretty reliable system. The solar charging seems to work well. Each sensor only gets direct sunlight about half the day but I have had no problems with the batteries failing. Also the wireless range works very well for my application. My driveway is curvy, so there is no direct line of sight from the house to the gate, but I have had no issues with connectivity.

Very impressed
So far these are amazing. Maintaining charge. Work perfectly, almost too good. My neighbors driveway is 60′ from where I mounted the driveway chime. Even at that distance it goes off every time anyone goes down her driveway. But even more impressive is that small animals and plant movement 10′ from the sensor doesn’t set it off. My only constructive criticism would be the rubber caps. On the back of each sensor is 4 rubber caps that are pushed into the holes where the screws are that hold the sensor together. Every time I handle handle or move the sensor the tiny black rubber sensor falls out and it’s nearly impossible to find. I believe they are important. Possibly to keep rain out of sensor through the threads of the screws? I simple put a dab of silicone in each hole and put the caps back on. No water getting in. But this is a design flaw that would make the product much better if fixed. Not enough to drop even 1 star for me. Just an fyi.

Very pleased with our purchase, we bought a two pack. This sensor gives us peace of mind that we know when someone pulls into our drive way. Great sensitivity and range. Very easy to set up and being able to change the alert makes it easy to know which sensor is being activated. I cannot comment on the battery life as these were recently purchased. We also purchased more of these sensors for family and friends.
