Best little gadget
An amazing difference in our house. This little bot (‘Rosey’ from the Jetsons) kicks in at the prescribed time, usually runs about an hour and a half, and bumps around doing her thing until she docks or gets stuck in tight places cavers would not dare go. This is our first vac-bot, and we aren’t going back. It does NOT pick up larger items (twigs) but is awesome at eliminating the dirt/dust that gathers on surfaces (from 3 dogs). It picks up hair very well, and its random movements and bump sensors allow it to cover plenty of surface area. It is not a labor-free device, though. We need to empty the dust bin daily and cut away the hair from the roller (a multi-tool is provided for this and sufficient). The dogs are not bothered by it and move out of the way when bumped. It is actually fun to watch as she does her thing. She maneuvers over the throw rug with ease. She is kind of eerie, though, as she seems to follow us from room to room at times. It is stated that it is about as loud as a microwave, and this is correct. We are very pleased with its functionality.

Don’t bother with the fancy lidar stuff, this thing hits all the spots.
I thought this would miss a lot of spots in our house, but it actually does an amazing job. In fact, it does such a good job of exploring the entire space that it took a full week before I figured out that if there is even the tiniest SLIVER of a chance it will get stuck somewhere, it WILL find that spot and get stuck in it.Pros: My place has never been cleaner. I’m continually blown away by the dust it collects every night even when I think the place is spotless. My cats are a little freaked out by it, but it’s really not that loud and I think it entertains them more than anything else. No cloud management wifi required BS; just schedule it with the included remote or press the button to make it go.Cons: Each night I do have to go around prepping the place to make sure it doesn’t get stuck. The dust trap isn’t huge, so you may find that it is completely packed by the end of a full run; do a few daytime runs and check it every 30 minutes or so until it can use up its battery without filling up all the way.Overall: The algorithm it uses to switch between edge-following, spiral, and criss-cross modes is pretty incredible as far as how well it touches on everything, and clearly indicates that the “efficiency” of the lidar room-mapping bots isn’t at all necessary for it to do a good job. It remains to be seen how long it’ll last, but it seems pretty repairable, so I hope to get multiple years out of it.

BEST ROBOVAC EVER!
This is BEST Robovac you’ll ever own, IMHO.I purchased the first robovac made by a different company when these little things were a completely new concept. This is BEST Robovac you’ll ever own, IMHO. I purchased the first robovac made by a different company when these little things were a completely new concept. It was such a surprise as to how good it was, and how it made a difference in time spent housekeeping every day. I’ve been a fan ever since (20+ yrs) and have tried many different brands and models. The Eufy is the best! And I have purchased 3 of this model.Depending upon your budget and specific needs, there are things I’ve learned, and I’m going to break those points down for your consideration. Possibly they may apply to your situation. These points are some requirements that make all the difference to me and my lifestyle. ~~>#1. Two auxiliary brushes.: This is the most important thing for me and is a no brainer, IMHO. The two brushes, one on each side of the front edge (approx 11 and 2 o’clock) sweep the debris to the underneath center of the unit where it is sucked up. Because there are two, they sweep a larger area, and because the vac covers the same areas more than once, you get better cleaning results. This is very important in kitchens and high traffic areas. Also corners are swept from both sides.#2. Undercarriage rotating beater brush: I have both carpeted and uncarpeted areas. I need more than just suction to lift dust, pet hair, dirt, and debris from my floors. My kitchen does not have carpet so an undercarriage beater brush is not a requirement, but my Family room has carpeting, and my Living room has Oriental wool and silk rugs. They need a light agitation to help lift up the dust so the vacuum can easily suction it up. A beater brush is a major requirement for my floors for this reason.#3 Scheduling option: this is WONDERFUL! Our major living areas are scheduled to vacuum after we’ve gone to bed, and our bedrooms and bathrooms are scheduled while we are gone during the day. Happy feet!#4. Rechargeable on its own! Need I say more? It goes back to the recharging station to recharge itself when it needs more juice. YAY! We live on three floors, and this is a huge plus for us.#5. The Customer service with this company is amazing! If you have any issues, regardless of how small, they will get back to you, and immediately help. They respond, and do not merely send you to a FAQ link.#6. It is gentle and does not smack into your furniture, scuffing it.#7. The more you use it, the cleaner your house will be. Regular dusting is done on a daily basis so there is less and less dirt and dust to deal with. It is amazing the difference! Weekend freedom!#8. You do not have to do much prep at all, just check for loose cords to not become tangled. When I bought my first robovac I didn’t use it too often because I was unnecessarily moving furniture, rugs, floor lamps, trash cans, etc. Then one day, I left a door open and the robovac sneaked out of the room I’d religated it to. When I returned home, the little vac had done my whole house (single level @ 2000 sq feet) and it was GREAT. I realized that all I needed to do from then on was to let it go do its thing. Lesson learned. My Eufys are my workhorses and I recommend this little gem of a vac if you are considering it. IMHO It will be a good investment. It has been for me, and my family (including cats and dogs).

From eco‑friendly to eco‑foolish: Eufy’s baffling downgrade
Very poor ecological understanding on Eufy’s part. The filter is encased in plastic and the paper filter cannot be changed out. You have to constantly buy new plastic. It will fill our land and water with yet millions more tons of plastic garbage for sea and land animals to be poisoned. Careless and mindful only of profit because the entire filter/case needs to be purchased each time it needs cleaning.

I have been wanting to try a robovac for some time. This item was sold as refubished at about half price, so I went for it. The brand was on a list of recommended products, so I thought the risk was low. Everyone is impressed by the amount of sand and cat hair this thing collects. It runs every day at midnight, and on demand. There are some limitations, like it can get stuck under a certain table that is low to the floor and has a tapered height. I want to buy or make elevators for this one unit. Also, there is a drop between two rooms, and it cannot go back up the drop. Not unexpected, nor a complaint. Just be realistic about your hopes. It is smart; navigates around the chairs under the dining room table. Overall, super impressed. My wife agrees that it is doing a great job.

Especially for the relatively low price, I was very favorably impressed. My house has solid floors with a number of throw rugs and cords. The Eufy successfuly handles all the rugs and cords without problem. After a few tries, it can maneuver over a 2 inch door sill.

Fantastic for my two bedroom apartment with two cats and two people with long curly hair. While we used to sweep every day, we find that we don’t have the need at all.I’m giving four stars as it is advertised to have two brushes at the front, but only has one. It works perfectly fine with one, but I would have preferred two.Excellent budget choice.
