Amazing cameras!
At the time of this review I have been using the camera for about two days. I am VERY satisfied with the overall performance and flexibility of the camera positioning of the bullet and PTZ cameras. I am so satisfied a second one is on the way!The tracking is amazing! As example the camera will track me from my front door and follow me and zooming in on me for about three houses away! What a great way to get more information if somebody is trying to do harm! The video is clear and smooth, alerts are fast, and the motion detection is VERY sensitive. I am still experimenting with the motion detection (type, range, sensitivity, activity zones, cameras pointing) because I am getting more notifications then I want. i.e. picking up cars driving by my house. With the camera plugged in its staying at 100 % charge, but only after I stopped playing with it for hours using live view and moving the PTZ around with the app, So Cool!. :-)The install was quick with two screws needed to attach the mounting bracket to the house then slide the camera into the bracket and two more locking screws already attached to the bracket. I wanted 24/7 recoding so I also plugged in the camera with the cable provided.Some other notes:I am experienced Eufy camera user since 2022.The camera is above my garage with bullet camera facing mostly the driveway and the PTZ pointing towards my walkway to the front door. I have the camera plugged into the wall and recoding 24/7. It’s connecting to the homebase 3. I have motion activated lights on my house.

I normally don’t do very many reviews but I will say eufy has some great customer support. Now as far as the camera goes it’s a great camera and it has some great features. Some of my favorite features are the AI enhancements that it has and you get even more out of the camera when pairing it with the homebase 3. I found out first hand about the anti-theft alarm it has. After finishing mounting the camera I wanted to use continuous power so I was running a power wire into my garage and the camera started alarming because I was working around it. It’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about someone messing with the camera. The image quality is great and I like the AI auto tracking. All around great camera but I had a problem with the battery. Even though I hooked up a continuous power source the battery couldn’t keep a charge. I ended up putting this review on here and gave it a two star review. I mean what good is a camera if it has issues that might make it shut down after a couple days even when plugged in. Long story short eufy reached out to me before I even created a request for my money back or exchange. They were on top of their customer support game. From what I’m told the power problem should be fixed in an update and eufy has done a great job at helping me troubleshoot the problem both through my communications on Amazon and by email. They make a great product and have great customer service.

I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with a security camera, but here we are. The Eufy S4 has essentially become the overachieving hall monitor of my home — always watching, never blinking, and somehow doing it all without making me feel judged.Setup was so fast I’m convinced the camera installed itself. I blinked, and suddenly it was online, introducing itself like, “Hey, I’ll just be protecting your entire home now.” The video quality is so sharp I’m starting to think it can see into the future. I caught myself waving at it on day three, because honestly, it deserves the respect.The motion tracking? Flawless. My dog walked by and the S4 followed him like it was filming a documentary titled “The Majestic Potato Roams Free.” Even the neighborhood cats, who trust absolutely nothing, stare at it with admiration… or jealousy. Hard to tell.Night vision is so good that I now know exactly which neighbor lives a second life. Notifications are fast, crisp, and somehow don’t spam me with false alarms every time a leaf zips past at Mach 3.In short, the Eufy S4 is the first camera I’ve owned that made me say, “Wow… I might actually be safer and slightly entertained at the same time.” If it ever asks for a raise, I might just give it one.10/10 — would let this camera judge my life choices again.0/10 Experience via Eufy.comHow does Eufy manage to have THEIR OWN camera on Pre-Order yet Amazon has successfully delivered two cameras ahead of Eufy’s flagship camera launch.
