Great multi wan for always on scenarios
It’s a great router. From a simple GUI you can configure most of the features without needing openwrt or ssh scripts. My basic use case is repeating a public wifi behind a VPN and using 5G local carrier as data backup and the dual wan prioritization works like a charm!

    The product for Live Streamers
Very good product and does the job well. This is much better than Ubiquity U5GMax as it is a standalone unit that get the job done not depending on the system mfg. but sims installed. I can take it anywhere and it can switch to the best signal directly from the sim cards installed

The best mobile router I have ever used by far.
This 5G router was a wonderful surprise. First, the throughput inside a building nicknamed the faraday cage already in a fringe rural area is a real 120MBps. With an inexpensive external antenna on my truck next to my house I am near the maximum of what my carrier (T-Mobile) provides near the tower. Bottom line, great radios and awesome router performance.Versatility and capability are the next bits to highlight. Want to do hardware offloading for crypto? Done in a couple clicks. Want to run a VPN, Tailscale, or Zerotier? Done and done. How anout setting up an RV to use Camp WiFi as a primary, 5G as a secondary, and Starlink as a tertiary WAN, switching between them automatically? No problem. This is an insanely powerful device that has more capabilities than routers costing much more.I can’t recommend this device enough. If you need a mobile router and the price isn’t a dealbreaker, just buy it.

After some frustration with set up, impressed. Especially with their Tech help.
Our new facility needed internet and the local Fiber/Coax company wanted to charge us 10s of thousands to install the cable. That wasn’t in the cards or budget. We contacted ATT and decided to go with 5G at least until we can get Fiber installed. This device serves as both a 5G modem and a wifi router. It has dual SIM card slots but only has i IMEI which made set up more complicated than it should have been. When just the first SIM arrived and I inserted it and restarted the modem I could log onto the dashboard but it said the SIM was not recognized. Super frustrating. I reached out to both ATT and to the Tech Support team for GL.iNet and both responded quickly. Unfortunately neither gave advice that worked. I was ready to admit my failure. And then decided to wait for the 2nd card to arrive. When it came, nada. So I reached back out to Tech Support for GL.iNet and again they responded quickly. I did the power off/power on thing a few more times and finally got the 5G signal to work. Speeds from ATT were quite good (we were able to place the modem on the 1st floor near a window. We have now attached it to the network and I tested speeds again this morning. Seemed to be working well. Not 100% sure how it will work once we have all of the staff using the internet but so far so good. This would have been a 3 star review had not the tech folks responded so quickly and cordially. Of course it would have been 5 stars had it worked right out of the box without me needing to reach out.

    No issues
Working right now during power and internet outage, seems to last 8+ on full charge. A little confusion getting an initial eSIM setup, but now it’s simple to top up and buy more data as needed.

A bit expensive but overall a very good router
A very Hefty router with all of the features that I need. I’ve actually been looking for a router like this for quite some time and I’ve tried a couple of mobile routers and this one is by far the best I’ve tried. It’s a bit larger and heavier than I expected but that’s not really an issue for me. This is definitely not what I would call a pocket router but it is small enough that you can pretty much take it anywhere in a backpack just by removing the antennas. I also like the fact that you can attach external antennas if you need to. I would definitely recommend this router

    Good improvement for TMHI
Good improvement when it is combined with the waveform quid mini antenna. My house’s line of sight to the TM cell tower is blocked by the neighbor’s apartment. This combination gives us stable Internet traffic.

It’s a very unique router, with lots of features that respects consumers. It uses open wrt, and has in router self hosted vpn options using wireguard and openvpn. There’s tons of details and controls for the cellular router where you can lock towers and change bands to any CDMA/LTE/5G. Wifi performance is pretty strong (identical to the eero 6) able to hit 700-800mbps peak pretty reliably in iperf3 in the same room. (Tested with intel ax200ngw to a wired iperf3 server on LAN)Edit: Multi Wan feature on load balancing mode allows you to bond two internet connection (in my case: cellular 70-100 mbps, and broadband 75mbps) bonding together to achieve ~170 mbps. Very neat feature you can do out of the box. With cellular only vs load balancing multi-wanAs for pure cellular performance, can’t tell. As ISP only caps at 100 Mbps on 4g and 80 mbps on 5g NSA. No access to 5g SA data. The only downsides is the router is quite pricey, at $500. A little bit chunky (not pocket sized) compared to the Netgear routers; not recommend for hiking or outdoor exercise. It also only has 2 WAN/LAN RJ35 port with 1000mbps peak, not the best for primary home use router if you were to repurpose it.But the sheer amount of control you have over this router beats the competition by a whole lot. Highly recommend.

My second GL-iNET cellular router and I love it. Was previously using the 4G GL-XE300 Puli and it perfromed really well but I wanted to get the full 5G from my SIM (plus some extra features) so I went for it…and I’m not dissapointed.Predominantly used as a cellular failover for my ER707-M2 router on EE FTTP. This model has a second SIM slot so I plan to get another networks SIM so I have not only cellular redundancy on the network but also provider redundancy. I work from home so can’t afford to be offline.Pros:Extremely easy to set up. I put my EE SIM in slot 1 and the auto-setup process found it, ‘dialled’ out and that was it, connected!A ton of settings that can be configured to suit your requirements; this is a very capable standalone router. If you just want a cellular router due to situation, location etc. then look no further.Very robust build, exceptionally solid and good quality manufacture.Good looking unit, very clean and well thought out.2.5GB WAN and 1GB LAN ports.2 x physical SIM slots and the option for use of eSIM (I have not tried this yet).Comes with wall mounting bracket and hardware. As you can see from the image, the 4G to 5G difference is considerable. Signal strength inside the house is 4 out of 5 bars. I know I am quite close to a mast (as EE have been to fix it so many times) so that obviously helps.5G and wi-fi signals seem to be very stable and issue-free.Cons:None really, my only comment is it is quite chunky and lareg with all antennas fitted if you plan to carry it about, however, I don’t bel;ive there is a better portable router out there so this is more personal opinion than actual con.
