Fantastic multi-functional lamp! Never seen anything like it!
Rating: 4.5/5 StarsPros:- Perfect addition to a living room, bed room, or just creating a vibey atmosphere anywhere- Unique and mesmerizing lighting effects that mesh really well with, and elegantly complement, other Govee lights (note: only tested this with a TV backlight and ceiling light so far – will update if I run into issues)- Reasonable price considering all the above points- Super easy to assemble and seems very well made but time will tell- Easy to control and adjust within the app (which is already loaded with lots of tweakable modes and settings)- Quick control widgets available on iOS and Android- Top lighting effects are incredibly relaxing and meditativeCons:- Tilt adjustment is quite limited and can only be rotated on the vertical axis (ofc you can turn the whole lamp but then you may struggle to hit the correct button if theyre not visible – there are 2 buttons for on/off and changing modes). I’d suggest visualizing the placement and casting direction in your space (wall/ceiling/etc.) before pullong the trigger. Another 15 deg of vertical rotation would’ve made all the difference… (I see others are using shims but this is a poor workaround imo)- Top and bottom lights could be a bit brighter at max (especially the top light)- Difficult to use as a primary light unless the room is very small (~100 sqft) or doesn’t need to be brightly lit- Would’ve liked a physical remote at this price but not a deal breaker since the app works well

If a lava lamp and AI had a baby
By far the coolest lamp I have ever owned. If only these existed back in my teenage lava lamp days.. (see video for different effects displayed on ceiling)Great quality and extremely easy to set up, far brighter, and with way cooler effects, and color schemes than I imagined it would be. The size is pretty similar to most other stand-up lamps. Obviously a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it for what you get, especially since you can integrate it into your TV backlight infrastructure via the dreamscape function in the Govee app.I will say that I wish you could pick your own mix and match color schemes when mixing colors instead of just picking a single color that is already into a color scheme for you, and that the app was a bit more instructive on its features. Takes a lot of playing around to figure everything out the first time.I run it with just the uploader top lamp on unless of course, I am doing something besides watching TV in the evenings as the uploader effect is plenty bright on its own even while slightly dimmed. Overall, if this isn’t a five star lamp, I don’t know what it is.

Fantastic & Mesmerizing!
It’s really beautiful! The mesmerizing lights shine up and there are so many choices on the app control. Easy to set up physically and with my Amazon Alexa voice commands. It’s very bright and can be dimmed to any variant you prefer. This is my 5th Govee purchase and so far, all have been well worth the price. They are made with quality and they are also packed quite nicely.

Stylish lamp with great ambiance
I’m really impressed with this lamp. It has a unique design and gives off beautiful wave effect lighting and adds a relaxing, modern vibe to my living room. It also pairs up nicely with DreamView (see video). It was very easy and quick to put together/setup. The only downside is the price which feels a bit high for what it is, but overall it’s a solid purchase.

Love this lamp!
I didn’t need this lamp, but I wanted this lamp! I own several Govee products and find the connections and app very easy to use. Setting up this lamp was no different, and the ceiling was full of dreamy color waves in no time. Every year, I set up lots of LED or timer-activated tealights for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, so I knew this lamp would be a great addition. My elderly father lives with me and loves the various light in the evening, and this lamp added a great deal in that respect.My nephew and his kids visited recently, and I played video games with them with this lamp on. Even the 12-year-old boy was impressed and said it was “super cool” while we played.There are three different parts of this lamp, though only two can be on at any given time: the “reading lamp” portion that directs light down, the ambient light around the upper ring, and the center light at the top that projects the wavy lines of light on the ceiling. With the app, there are many options to select and of course different colors for the ambient one and upper wavy one. We have it connected to our Google Assistant, so even my father can turn it on and off with his voice.My only wish is that the upper wavy light had a bit more single color or dual color options. It can be all green, all blue, or all red (along with different shades of white), but I cannot get a red and orange, for example. There are many varieties with green, blue, and red, and if you select a different color, you’ll get a secondary color from one of those three. However, that is a minor wish, and I do love the lamp.

I’ve never seen a lamp as good as this! It has a sleek, modern design that adds a angelic touch to my bedroom. The ripple effect creates a beautiful ambient atmosphere, making the space feel cozy and inviting. The brightness is just right for relaxing evenings, and I appreciate the adjustable warm and cool white options. It’s smart you can turn on/off change modes with your phone, easy to control, and works perfectly with my other smart home devices. At 39 I think this is the coolest adult purchase I have made. Totally not necessary, but completely worth it! No regrets. Adds a very nice and calming ambience. So many different colors, light options, and even customizations in the app. There is not a charge for the app like others have strangely mentioned (?) I highly recommend this lamp! I’m so happy with this purchase!
