    Best keyboard for the money
I have been through 3 of these keyboards and always come back to it when looking for a new keyboard. It is quiet and easy to use for an ergo keyboard. The mouse is really nice and easy on the hand to use all day. I type a lot of documents and communicate through typing for the most part so I type a lot. The letters on the keyboard were off and I have to get a new keyboard when that happens. I was not able to find a set of stick on letters that match these letters, but have used them before on one of the keyboards. On one of the keyboards, the cable got stuck in the sliding keyboard tray and stopped working. I soldered the wires back together and am still using it. i have the one I just purchased in the closet waiting to be used when I can’t see my letters on this one I am using. Other than that, the quiet, the fit, ease of use and style is the best I have used and I have used a lot of keyboards. I could never go back to a standard keyboard again. I just wish Microsoft would bring back the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite from the early 2000’s. Best keyboard ever it it was the loudest! Microsoft has never matched that keyboard ergo style but have come close with this one. I recommend this keyboard.

    the WORST keyboard design ever
This is the worst keyboard that I have every used. I bought it to replace a different ergonomic keyboard with split-layout which had worn out after many years of use, and so I thought that it would be easy to transition to this one given that I was already familiar with the split layout and tilted wrist angles, but I was SO WRONG!! The top list of things that I hate about this keyboard are that:1.) the vertical angle of key columns changes as you get closer to the center of the keyboard, so your pinky fingers need to move straight up and down but the index fingers have to move at angles. Do they think we pivot our wrists as we type depending on which key we press?!? Most of the time I try to use the shift key to capitalize something, I end up hitting the caps-lock key instead.2.) the keys are so close together that I am constantly hitting the wrong key with the side of my fingers. This is especially true of the top row of function keys.3.) as a combination of my first two complaints, I am CONSTANTLY making typos with this keyboard because of the wonky layout, and so I am hitting the backspace key a LOT to make corrections, but most of the time my pinky finger grazes the stupid “calculator” button just a slight distance above the backspace key and so that brings up like 5 instances of the calculator application on top of each other by the time I realize I wasn’t on the backspace key after all. The net result is that my effective typing speed is less than half of what it normally is because of how many errors I make with this keyboard and how long it takes to make corrections due to the backspace / calculator button issue4.) the “6” key is on the left side of the keyboard which prevents me from using my right index finger to type the number 6. I cannot get used to this even after months of using this awful keyboard5.) the keys are just overall very small so I am constantly catching other keys as I type6.) the “wake up” time is obnoxious so the first few keys that I press after even a short amount of not typing are lost.I hope this review is helpful to save someone else from making the same mistake that I did when buying this. I had hoped that after a few months of using it that I would get used to its quirks but by this point I am convinced that it just terrible design.

Takes a little getting used to, but works great!
I think any time you switch keyboards, particularly from non-split to split, it takes some getting used to. And the first day, my typing speed on this was awful. But as I’ve adjusted to the keyboard feel and gotten used to a split keyboard again after using the laptop keyboard for a couple months, I really enjoyed this. It’s definitely an improvement over the laptop keyboard (shown in photo), even if I do miss the Thinkpad nib in the middle of the laptop keyboard from time to time. I use Bluetooth to connect them, and it’s been working great – no issues with idle unless I’m gone for like an hour, and even then it’s only the first keypress that is occasionally lost as they reconnect – it’s been pretty seamless.I can’t speak to battery life yet, but as far as typing goes, all the mistakes are mine and are legitimate, at least now that I’m used to the feel. One minor annoyance – the Fn key and the Ctrl key are opposite of my laptop’s setup, which means switching back and forth between the two keyboards drives me a tiny bit crazy. I do sometimes wish the calculator key was a little further away from the backspace, as I seem to hit it a little two often on accident, even after using the keyboard a few weeks.Because of my setup – I use stands to set my laptop screen at a more comfortable height and have it a bit closer, so it actually sticks out over this keyboard – I’m getting a USB-powered light to help see the F keys on this keyboard, as sometimes I miss going by feel, and it’s just a bit dark with my configuration. I wouldn’t need that if the keys were backlit, but that would add cost and suck battery life, so I’m happy to go without. I doubt too many folks will run into the same problem.I love the ability to raise the front of the keyboard up a little to rest the palms on. I don’t always use it, but it’s a great option to have.I’m a few weeks in now, I think, and it’s comfortable, no sticky or broken keys, and no serious complaints. I prefer it to the Logitech wave keyboard I used at work.UPDATE – JAN, 2020, 5 months later – still using the first pair of AAA batteries, and it’s running great. It took some time to get used to the backspace key and the calculator key that’s just above it – I still occasionally open the calculator instead of backspacing, but that’s pretty rare now. And after not really using my laptop keyboard all this time, I expect the difference between the CTRL and fn keys won’t bother me until I go back to using my laptop keyboard some day – perhaps by then I’ll need a new laptop? I do notice the bluetooth disconnecting from time to time, but it’s always been a fast recovery and I can usually predict when it might be a concern and watch to see if the first key I press shows up.At this point, if this keyboard were to break today, I’d buy another one without hesitation.
