Good Equipment
I’ve been using Linksys WiFi routers for many years. I’ve had 4 or 5, I think, but I didn’t keep count. The last one was an AC1600 that I had for 11 years and it never did anything at all out of the ordinary until a nasty thunderstorm blasted it.This AC1900 appears to at least be on par with the AC1600; it was easy to set up and configure, it seems to be reliable and secure, and has excellent range and signal strength. We always have from 8 to 10 devices connected to our routers so they do tend to get worked rather heavily.If this one lasts as well as those I have had in the past, and I expect that to happen, I’ll continue being a happy Linksys customer.

Faster Gigabit Ethernet and Better Wi-Fi
Upgraded to optical Internet with a one gig speed rating. Installed this router and hardwired three devices. Each performs much faster.My desktop has up/down speeds of 900 Mbps. I can upload a 200 MB+ video file in well under thirty seconds.Yes, you do need to upgrade your 100 Mbps router to Gig E. This one works nicely.

Easy set up
This router replaced an older model that I had for 15 years. It was very easy to replace and set up. The user interface is online so there is no software to worry about misplacing and it is very simple to use. The computer that I have on WiFi was easy to connect and had faster online response.This is a real nice router for the price and my needs. Seemed to have smoother online gaming experience.

Can’t connect to Chamberlain garage opener WPA2 is enabled
I had to return this unit because it wasn’t compatible with my WiFi garage opener. Spent several hours by myself and 30 minutes on the phone with tech support. We couldn’t get it to connect with any security enabled. It did connect when I disabled the security and left the WiFi open. And you can’t leave the guest WiFi open. Every other smart device I have connected and the range is great. And the interface is nice. But the garage opener was a deal breaker for me.
