Love this. Bring back the Smart Light and Motion Sensor!
Purchased JAN 10, 2024, so have had 14 months. Works great. I like glancing over to see the time, setting timers, reminders, and so forth. I unplug the Amazon Flex about once a week when I need the bathroom outlet for other things. The time resets properly when plugged back in. Today, first time ever, when I plugged back in, time reset to 12:00. Instead of unplugging and replugging Amazon Flex, I removed this Smart Clock, and then reinserted. Time reset properly 🙂

One of the Things You Did Not Know You Needed Until You Got It.
I have had the small Echo plug that this connects to for years but just had not used it.. The plug is no longer made but this is perfect for in the bathroom. As soon as it connected it put the right time on it. Very impressed with the technology and ease of use.

If you like the Flex, this is a nice addition
I use the Amazon Echo Flex (now discontinued for some reason) due to its lightweight/easy interface. I position these in locations where I don’t want the intrusion of a full echo with camera. Yes, Amazon listens and sees everything we do. That comment will probably get my review blocked. Anyway, this clock addition is great and dims when the lights go out. Buy one with confidence.

A simple yet wonderful addition
At only $7 the clock for Echo Flex is a bargain. It’s bright and always on. The one issue I had for attaching this to my Echo Flex is location. Nearly every outlet in my humble abode is a mere 18″ (or so) above the floor and not an ideal place for a digital clock. Actually, the vast majority of my outlets are blocked from view by furniture, etc. You’ll need to be creative in finding a suitable location, maybe a kitchen area where outlets are typically counter top high. In any case, should you opt for one of these while they are still available, it shouldn’t disappoint.

A Must Have for Echo Flex
This clock is a “must have” accessory if you’re lucky enough to own an Echo Flex. Simply plug the clock into the bottom of your Echo Flex and that’s it. No setup, no configuration. It automatically gets the time from the Echo Flex and displays it.Now comes the best part, timers… Simply issue a timer command to the Echo Flex, and this clock automatically displays it. As you can see in the attached video, the timer countdown is displayed and there’s no need to ask Alexa “what’s left on my timer”.If there are multiple timers, the one with the least amount of time is displayed. When the first timer expires (or is cancelled), the clock automatically displays the next timer with the least amount of time remaining.When the last timer is finished, the clock automatically reverts back to displaying the current time.I love it and highly recommend it!

This does just what it advertises with no setup. This plus an echo flex create a great smart timer. It knows it’s orientation, so the clock always shows the correct side up. Sideways plugs will orient sideways, though.We are a google assistant family, but now I use the echo flex with this solely as timers. One in the kitchen and one on the porch for the barbecue.

We love these clocks that attach to the echo Flex have them in three bathroom’s and can easily play music and see the time at a glance. The clock can be mounted in plug on top or bottom depending how you plug in the Echo Flex it will adjust so it can be read. light is bright and easy to see day or night,Mike

Update from 1 star to 5 stars. Clock will not stay on ALL THE TIME
Update August 21, 2020:I have changed my review to 5 stars.I used voice commands to the Flex and somehow got the clock to stay on all the time.Now my clock displays time ALL THE TIME and does not turn off or dim in the dark, which is the same as the Echo Dot with clock. Now it is perfect.Attention Amazon and Third Reality:I seldom post a 1-Star review. But I did for this plugin clock for the Echo Flex.Amazon or Third Reality, please tell us how to keep the clock light ON ALL THE TIME, This capability DOES EXIST for the echo Dot with clock.Thank you

Die Uhr fügt sich perfekt in das Design des Echo Flex ein. Die weiße Anzeige im LED-Stil leuchtet sauber abgegrenzt und hat einen „cleanen“ Look. Die Helligkeit der Uhr passt sich zuverlässig und schnell dem Umgebungslicht an, sodass sie auch in sehr heller Umgebung gut ablesbar bleibt. Bei Dunkelheit wird so weit abgedimmt, dass die Beleuchtung nicht störend ist.Die Installation ist denkbar einfach – Echo Flex ausstecken, Uhr anstecken und Flex wieder einstecken. Direkt nachdem der Flex hochgefahren ist, wird die korrekte Uhrzeit im 24h-Format angezeigt. Das Display der Uhr dreht sich automatisch mit, je nachdem, wie rum der Flex angeschlossen wird und sich die Uhr unter oder auf dem Flex befindet.Über Sinn und Zweck lässt sich streiten – wir erfreuen uns jedenfalls über eine dezente Uhr im Bad und Junior freut sich, dass er die Restzeit des Timers um Zähneputzen sieht. Für den Preis kann man letztlich kaum etwas falsch machen.

Avevo letto di bug relativi ai timer, ma io non ho riscontrato nessuna anomalia. Evidentemente è stato tutto risolto con un aggiornamento software. L’orologio funziona benissimo ed io lo trovo molto comodo, secondo me è il competamento ideale dell’echo flex.L’unica pecca, che ho provato già a segnalare al team di Alexa, è che la app alexa lo rileva nella categoria “altro” e gli associa l’icona generica della busta da lettere. Trattandosi di un prodotto appositamente progettato per Echo, sarebbe il minimo che venisse rilevato correttamente come “orologio” ed avesse una sua icona specifica come tutti gli altri dispositivi Amazon. Speriamo che mi ascoltino e risolvano nella prossima release software.

You have to enable this clock attachment in the app, and it’s best to rename it to “clock” or similar for voice control. However, once setup it works well and displays the time or the countdown of any timers used. Replaced an Echo Dot with this on the kitchen, takes up minimal space and the sound is very tinny for music but for voice it is very clear and fine for listening to LBC and Talk Radio stations. If you really spend that much time in the kitchen and want better speakers to listen to music then maybe get an Echo Show but for a kitchen timer, this is excellent value especially during Black Friday at £7 for the Flex combo.
