Save space, increase the distance of existing copper cables, and power up your CPE device! AD-net’s Mini POE Ethernet Extender AN-LAN-EXT-MINI-POE is a high-speed Ethernet transmission device that will send Ethernet signal and POE power over the same copper or BNC cable over distances up to 800m (0.49 miles) and more.
It can transmit Power, and Ethernet signals together over any pair of 2-wire such as Cat5, coaxial cable (with an adapter in the set), and even power cables – twisted pair cables offer better signal quality and higher transmission distance. Still, devices will work over different cables as well.
Units will come in set having a Master and Remote side and 48VDC power supply. The speed and distance data differ greatly depending on the cable types used. Moreover, the longer the cable distance, the lower the transmission rate accordingly. Testing details are for your reference in the picture gallery above.

Easy setup to convert an old 2 wire underground run to ethernet signal. Using the provided power supply at the “Master” I ran a short rj45 cable from my switch to the “master” converter connecting to an existing 30meters 2 wire power cable under ground out to the “slave” module. Then a short rj45 cable to my 4k Lorex POE camera – no power supply needed outside! Any existing wire will work as long as the gauge is correct. Lorex camera did work with my NVR through these converters. The slim design of these units provided easy install solutions with minimal space.I did contact the customer support email provided in the literature in the box with these units to setup my 4k POE camera with no power supply at the camera. I received a prompt response and Rolands helped me with good feedback. Would recommend these modules over more expensive units. Slim design and signal strength. Made in Taiwan, better quality than mainland China.

I’ve tried many 2 wire POE extenders and these are the best value for money. I used a product that was 4 x more expensive and it didn’t work for some cameras we were doing while this one did. Simple to use. Reliable. Highly recommended.

Works just like it says!
I used this product to connect to my barn over 200 meters of buried cat6 cable. Connected 1 pair from the cable to each end and it came right up. The POE is powering an outdoor AP to provide WIFI internet to the area without having to rely on electricity at the barn. I’m getting 90+ up and 25 down consistently. It worked so well I bought a second one! Great product!

WOW! Big time and Money saver
Easy Installation. I was working on a camera upgrade project for a client. The CAT 5 wires were installed when the building was built. The wires were stapled to the Joists. One of wires was shorted on 3 pairs. Without this, we would had to cut open 30 to 60ft of dry ceiling to replace the wire.

Elevator Install/Access Control
Used these in an elevator access control replacement to extend new technology over IP. The run was over 300ft (92m).Used a different brand before that and it did not work. These were not compatible to use POE from our switch, but the included power adapters worked perfect and powered our devices.

既存の同軸ケーブルなどを利用できるPoEエクステンダーです。マスター側用に48V/1.25Aのアダプターが付属していますが減衰しますので、電力が足りない場合はマスター／スレーブ共に12V/1Aの電力を供給して繋ぐことも可能です（12Vのアダプターは付属していません）。BNCから2ピンへの変換アダプターも2個付属しています。日本語のマニュアルも付属しており、接続自体は簡単です。電力損失のグラフなども掲載されていますが、接続してみるまで分かりません。防水ではない点には注意が必要です。既存のケーブルを流用できますし、WiFiの不安定さやセキュリティ、遅延などを考えると有線接続の方が安定しますので、伝送距離も長いので既存の環境によってはとても便利です。

スリムなデザインの小型PoEエクステンダーで、設置しやすく、品質も良いほうかと思います。マスタとスレーブ側の両デバイスを市販の同軸ケーブルや電源ケーブル等で繋ぎ、数百メートルの離れた場所にイーサネット信号とPOE電源を送受信する装置です。ケーブル以外の必要なパーツが揃っているので、別に専門知識がなくても、設置できる感じですね。但し、ケーブルによっては速度や伝送距離等に影響するようなので、あまり安っぽいケーブルは使わないほうが良いかと。パッケージ内に、2個の同軸ケーブル to 2ピンアダプターが付いているので、助かりますね。正直内容物の割には、高めの感じではありますが、最新技術ですので、仕方ないかと思います。ちなみに、AD-netは、台湾製のブランドでしたね。マニュアルは、簡単ではありましたが、ちゃんとした日本語で書かれておりました。
