Review of the MIWISE COB LED Strip Light 20ft/6.1m,CRI 90+ Daylight White 6000K.The strips are decent for what you get. Not much of a fan for the 6000k, but the seller did not have 5000 that I was looking for. Thought I would give this a try as I am after the brightest strip I could find. While nice, this wasn’t it. It tested out lux/lumen wise a bit less than the other three strips (from other vendors) did.This does come as a complete kit including the power adapter (48w / 2 amp) and a dimmer control.I did measure a few things.- 5m strip uses 1.31 amps (see pic). Unit came w/2a supply which is sufficient.- Color temp came out a bit around 6100 kelvin. slightly higher than 6000k advertised (but not a show stopper). Used an App on the phone and reflected against white paper to measure.- about 490 lux (approx 45 lumens) for 1 linear foot tested. NOTE this was not very scientific (I don’t have all the special equipment to do it properly). This benefit was for me comparing other strips to this one.- IP 20 rated. Don’t use this in damp areas by themselves. (IP20 would be like offices, IP30 would be bathrooms, kitchens where dampness might occur)- There are 1952 LEDs in the strip. Cut mark is 2 inches apart. This is advertised, and measured a full 20 ft of LEDs (not shortcut by including the wire-tail length).- One end of the strip come with the standard 2.1mm barrel connector- Strip is 8mm wide (see pic).- >90 CRI rating. I have no way of actually testing this TBH. Google CRI if you want to know what that buys you.- This strip (like almost all of them) does come with adhesive on the back. However, do not trust it on anything short of non-porous surfaces (IE: Aluminum channel).Folks that try to stick it to walls, wood, etc are just asking for trouble. If you are wanting to do this where it works well, purchase some aluminum channel, cut it to size, and mount the channel. Not only will it stick to that, but helps to better dissipate heat that the LEDs will create and will give you longer life of the LEDs.Final notes:* includes AC adapter (2 amp)* includes dimmer* very good price ($20 at this writing) for the LEDs, power supply and dimmer.* only one end has a barrel connector. No daisy-chaining however, the power supply would not support it anyhow.Overall, I think the product is fine. Does perform decently (maybe a bit less brighter than some others I tested). I give it a 4-star because not as bright as others of same rating (talking like 5 lumens which is small, but none the less is something). I give it a 5 star for price. Note: No long term testing done here so cannot speak to that. If properly installed (aluminum channel) should do well.

9/12/25 I’ve received an offer from Riley to help me get them working or a refund. Thank you Riley, but this was all my bad. I didn’t see the connectors when I bought the light strips so I purchased a different brand from Amazon. Also another from Home Depot. Neither worked, then I somehow saw your brand connectors and bought them. They took about 5 minutes to install the ones I needed and everything works perfectly. To anyone else reading this review… Make sure you buy the connectors made by the same brand as the light strips. They are all slightly different.I love the light strip as it is super bright.I have erased my original complaint as I was completely wrong.

First of all it can be dimmed to your liking. Very bright you don’t have to buy any connections I only wish they made a remote with this. Button works perfectly. As you can see its very very bright makes my toilet look so chic. I really love my space. I bought one that I had to buy connections and it was not long so I had to get 2 of them they didn’t even last one day they just couldn’t work. Now I know buy from ppl you know you can return if it doesn’t work. I really appreciate the length 10m is great look I even overlapped on one side wao is all I can say I will see if it stands the test of time I will come back with updates after a few months hopping that it wount fall of the wallSticks good easy to install wao you don’t have to get any attachments that way the lights are flawlessI just put some adhesive tape where I bent it to change direction but overall I am liking liking all I say is wao and thnx will be buying more I wish they can make it even longer

Great lights but probably needs accessories
We had 20 watt halogen lights under our kitchen cabinets but because there were only 5 there were areas with more and less light. I bought these due to the fact that the light density appeared to be quite good as the LED spacing is quite small along with the bright white light color. The kit came with just a power supply, dimmer and the light strip. If you had one run that would work but nobody really has that so couplers and wire is most likely also needed. 22 gauge wire is best for the couplers so once you have that it works great. Pay attention to the polarity of the wire in the connectors as you want to wire + to +. Making that mistake does not damage the next section of light but you will have to pull the wires back out and swap them. Hooking them up section by section and testing to see if they function will help you to know where you made a wiring mistake easier. My cabinets were more particle board based so there was a laminate layer on the outside so the self-adhesive on the lights adhered quite well. Hot glue was also an easy way to keep the wiring in place in areas it needed mounting.

Not great for a room install.
We ended up with janky corners when trying to install around the perimeter of our ceiling. The way the L connectors attach and the length of the segments in between where you cut makes it impossible to smoothly install. On top of that, one of the plugs got super hot and the other made a high pitched whine when plugged in. The lights were pretty but overall I’d rather have gone with another product. I’m trying another plug to see if the problem can be fixed without tearing down the lights we already installed.

Instalé la tira de LED en un espacio semiabierto y el resultado fue excelente, ya nunca volveré a prender el foco principal que está en el centro. Color de temperatura muy agradable, no azul pero tampoco muy amarillo. Al regularse a una baja intensidad, los LEDs individuales se notan un poco, pero nada desagradable (en la foto estaba aprox al 20%). Lo instalé midiendo con un flexómetro, midiendo de cuando en cuando 6 centímetros debajo de la línea del techo …pero hubiese quedado aún mejor con un nivel láser (ya están baratos).El mayor inconveniente, es que el control de intensidad/encendido, queda pegado a la tira, y lejos de la pequeña fuente de alimentación. Tendré que conseguir una extensión de corriente directa, para que el control manual quede al alcance de la mano (la medida común para esos conectores DC, es de 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm).Otro detalle, es que esta generación de LED COB, al estar apagados es color amarillo (cuando ya hay otros tipos que ya son IP-68 los cuales ya no se ve el color amarillo del LED, aunque no los vi en Amazon aún)Pero como lo del cable se puede corregir y me encantaron los resultados, les doy mi máximo calificación.

I love the dimmer. I have this plugged into a a switched outlet, so it’s nice to have the dimmer on to the perfect setting when I flick the switch. However, it doesn’t match my other 2700K lights. I’d say this is more a 3000K, as it’s just slightly cooler (especially when dimmed.) I am going to have to decide whether to return or not, as I like everything else about them!
