Excellent. sturdy mount
I purchased this mount for my 85″ TV and it absolutely lives up to expectations. The mount is extremely sturdy and offers a nice range of motion. The left/right sliding adjustment (about 16″ total adjustment range) allows the TV to be centered in the desired location relative to the wall studs.Installation was mostly straightforward, and the printed drilling template was useful. We only ran into one issue with the screws that hold the left/right sliding motion in place. The mount ships with those screws tightened at the center position. The screws on my unit were so tight that they were impossible to remove without getting stripped (we tried multiple phillips head screwdrivers of different sizes). I ended up having to remove them with a stripped screw removal kit and contacted customer service, who shipped me replacement screws. I assume this was an anomaly as it didn’t sound like customer service had ever encountered this issue before.One other thing that I’ll note is that while the sliding adjustment is really useful, it is only a one-time adjustment that should be performed prior to mounting the TV. The screws go through the entire mount including the adjustment plate, preventing it from sliding freely (which could be a good thing or bad thing depending on what you want). I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable adjusting the slide position after mounting the TV because the TV could fall forward during the process of removing the screws, adjusting the slide position, and reinstalling the screws in the new position.Overall, this mount was definitely worth the money despite the minor hiccup during installation.EDIT: I would also like to add that a 10 mm hex driver is extremely useful for tightening and loosening the bolts for the leveling adjustment. I got one on Amazon called “Klein Tools 630-10MM 10mm Cushion-Grip Nut Driver with 3-Inch Shaft” and it’s way easier to use than the included wrench and my 10 mm socket wrench. The TV does occasionally need to be releveled if you change the arm extension/positioning, so this tool is sure to come in handy over time.

Really is a Beast
Used this for a 98 inch panel that weighs about 120 lbs. I have a 30+ inch recess/alcove above my fireplace and this allowed me to attach the mount to the back wall and still reach out far enough to hang the tv, and can still crawl behind if needed. I like this is a double swing arm design (had used the lower-weight-rated Beast single arm model for our previous 65 inch). Very sturdy and the double arm “Beast” (this model) has a much higher weight rating/bounces less than the single arm model so is more stable. Be sure to use your stud finder before drilling the pilot holes as the weight of the mount (this mount is HEAVY) and tv together will be 150+ lbs pulling against your 2x4s, also keep in mind when measuring the VESA mounting screws the pattern is never centered top to bottom on the back of tv and usually sits lower (put mounting bars on tv and remeasure before you drill). The wall mount hex bolts provided are good quality and have never snapped one…yet. Bottom line if you have a giant panel you need the giant mount for peace of mind. This “Beast” costs more but super well made and you get what you pay for.
