Meet Narwal Freo Robot

Advanced AI Obstacle Avoidance: The Narwal robot vacuum uses dual RGB cameras with AI chips to identify 200+ household objects. It avoids pet accidents with a 150mm buffer, navigates within 8mm of furniture, and reacts instantly to hazards for reliable, precise cleaning.
Edge-to-Corner Mop Coverage: This mop robot extends and swings its mop to clean edges, corners, and under toe-kicks. With 8N downward pressure, it scrubs away tough messes in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring complete coverage.
Quiet Self-Emptying Base with Hot-Water Wash: The self-emptying dock quietly maintains the mop with 104–140°F hot-water washing, finishes with a 167°F rinse, and dries automatically to prevent odors. A 2.5L dust bag stores up to 120 days of debris, making this self emptying robot vacuum cleaner easy to maintain.
18,000Pa Suction with Tangle-Free Brush: Delivering 18,000Pa suction, the Narwal vacuum robot captures dust, crumbs, and pet hair with ease. A certified tangle-free brush plus EdgeSwing technology ensures deep cleaning along walls and edges without hair wrap.
DualFlow Anti-Tangle System: The vacuum mop robot’s DualFlow system prevents brush clogs. Side brushes sweep hair into the roller, and a strong suction burst transfers it directly into the dustbin — reducing tangles and minimizing post-cleaning work.
Real-Time Adaptive Cleaning: Dual AI chips let this robotic vacuum cleaner analyze dirt instantly and switch between vacuuming and mopping. Cross-pattern cleaning handles spills, dust, and footprints for consistently clean floors.
Smart App & Pet Mode: Control the Narwal cleaning robot via app or voice assistant for flexible cleaning. Pet Mode detects pets in real time, avoids disturbing them, and supports live video check-ins — ideal for families with pets.

Truly hands free cleaning
The Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra has completely changed how clean my floors feel with almost zero effort on my part. I get sit back or do other things while my floors get cleaned. Its powerful suction, smart obstacle avoidance, and hands-free self-cleaning dock make it feel truly high-end and effortless to own. If you want a robot vacuum that actually delivers on automation and performance, this one is absolutely worth it.

Feels like I hired a maid!
I’ve been loving my Narwal Freo Z Ultra so far. Setup was quick and simple, and on the first day it cleaned and re-cleaned all on its own, mapping my space perfectly. Since then, it hasn’t needed to re-map or re-check dirty areas because the floors stay so clean. The suction and mopping are amazing, and the self-washing/self-emptying features save me so much time. My floors look better than ever with almost no effort from me. Truly worth it if you want a hands-off, high-performance robot vacuum and mop.

Gets the job done hassle free.
This is a solid vacuum/mop combo. It scans your entire house before it gets to work and finds the most efficient way to get all your crumbs hassle free. Saves a ton of time and gets the job done better than I can most of the time. Create a schedule for it so it doesn’t interfere with your life making it practically a cleaning ghost. It picks up a ton of dust and and with the added mop attachment your floor will be sparkling. The app is super user friendly and easy to hook up (this was my biggest issue with other vacuums very annoying apps). It took me about 4 mins to set it up.

DO NOT BUY!!!! PIECE OF GARBAGE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AWFUL!
Avoid Narwal at All Costs – Terrible Product, Even Worse Customer ServiceI put this machine to work. I have a 3,000 sq ft main floor with mixed flooring, and I ran my Narwal for almost six months. At first, it seemed fine, but that didn’t last long. Here’s where it all went south:• For the price, this thing is garbage. The cost doesn’t come close to matching how it performs.• The mapping is awful. It never cleaned “edge to edge” like it claims. Even after several remaps, it constantly missed large areas.• Maintenance is expensive and constant. Each mop cartridge costs $35–$40, and you’re forced to buy Narwal’s own brand. The vacuum bags are also pricey. Knockoff versions barely work and can cause dust to blow all over the inside of the unit.• It doesn’t even empty itself properly. Every other cleaning, I had to take it apart and empty the onboard dust cup manually.• The dirty water tank stinks, always. I cleaned it every single morning, and no matter what I did, it still smelled foul. The design makes it impossible to clean completely.• The base tray grows mold. The area where the robot “cleans” its mop pads turns into a science experiment in a day or two if you don’t scrub it constantly. Then came the disaster.Around month four, I noticed water pooling around the base. When I moved it, I found that the base had been leaking underneath and my wood floors were buckled, and the baseboard was pulling away from the wall. After doing some research on Reddit, I found that this is a known issue: the pump that drains water into the dirty tank can fail, flooding under the base. Because we ran it nightly, the leak had been happening for days, hidden under the giant base.I contacted Narwal support, the only way to reach them is through a ticket system. While waiting for a response, I filed a claim with my homeowner’s insurance, who sent a mitigation crew. Unfortunately, our flooring was discontinued, which meant we had to replace almost all of it on the bottom floor, a $22,000 repair.Narwal’s response? They emailed me in the middle of the night (their customer service is overseas) apologizing and asking for photos and videos of the damage, which I sent along with the repair estimate. Their solution was insulting: they offered me a free accessory kit and a $30 check.I asked for a full refund or a replacement device, and they refused. This dragged on for more than three weeks, with days between each reply, while my house was being torn apart. Finally, I reached out to Amazon, explained the situation, and they stepped up like a company should. They had UPS pick up the unit, and once it was returned, they issued me a full refund. Amazon is the real hero here.Narwal, on the other hand, has permanently lost my trust. Every time I see one of their ads, I warn people to stay away.We replaced the Narwal with a Shark, and it’s night and day. The cleaner costs $13 for a huge bottle, no dust bags needed, and it actually cleans edge to edge, something the Narwal never managed once.Save yourself the money, the stress, and the damage to your home. Do not buy anything from Narwal.

This thing is amazing!
So this thing has been amazing overall. To start off setup was very quick and effective. With the app it was very quick and mapped out the entire house and even took the time to label where every room is.The battery life on this thing has worked well and zero issues with it cleaning the entire house with plenty to spare. I also run it at the max settings to clean up as much as possible and it appears it finishes easily with 50% battery life. I would think this would have no problem covering a 3000 foot house with battery to still spare. The vacuum lines look very nice when it gets done! It also seems to be plenty powerful to really pull up the same amount of dirt as a normal vacuum, if not more! The self cleaning and mopping functions work great as well! It does a good job not leaving any sort of mop trail. Also the self cleaning is louder when it starts but it dries the mop heads well and they still look brand new despite quite a few mopping.Overall very impressed. I have owned plenty of robot vacuums over the years and I would say this is the best one so far. Plenty of high quality features and just quality it how it performs.

We purchased the Narwal Freo Z Ultra to replace our iRobot i7 on the main floor of our house (1700 sqft). This floor is mostly LPV with a few rugs here and there. I had very low expectations for the quality of the mopping, so we were hoping to get at least the same performance from this device as the i7 when it came to vacuuming and keeping the dog hair and dirt to a minimum between cleanings. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it did that and more.Setup was easy, and the base station was obviously well thought out. I had some issues defining the rooms I wanted, as our space is very open and rooms are often delimited by furniture rather than walls. But the app has a number of different ways to work around that using no-go zones and manual mapping options. The device and base station have a modularity to them that’s similar to the iRobot products, so it is easy to replenish and replace accessories and parts, either on their OEM site or here on Amazon. The capabilities can even be upgraded by installing an alternate detergent reservoir for spot cleaning solution, or even an automatic fresh and waste water management system. Scheduling and job monitoring are easy to use, but we struggle with some base station issues that are not clearly pushed to the app. For example, you currently do not get notified when the base station has run out of fresh water or if the wastewater is full. You are simply notified that a scheduled job cannot start, and usually it’s not until the job has timed out and has been cancelled for being paused for too long. There are rumblings that this will be fixed in future app updates, but we’ve just got into the habit of checking water levels on a regular basis. Our i7 has officially been demoted to basement duty, and it’s most likely that when the next major part needs replacing on it we’ll probably replace it with another Narwal (It’s on its last legs due to a deep clean and refit after an unfortunate run-in with a dog mess). Speaking of cleanup, the device is as easy to keep clean as our i7, but don’t forget to pull out the mop head cleaning tray and clean on a regular basis. It does such a good job mopping that this tray gets really dirty and full of material (especially pet hair). We forgot to clean it after a month of daily mopping jobs and it needed it.Pros:- Great app, easy to set up- Mopping function is as good as vacuuming- Lots of options for replacement parts and enhancements- Quiet (compared to i7, even when set on enhanced suction)- Easy to clean- Doesn’t just avoid obstacles, it maps them and has pictures- Cool security roaming mode that sends pictures of waypoints to the app- Object avoidance is more sophisticated, so it’s gentler on our houseCons:- Base station notifications are limited, and you often miss them unless you are standing next to it- OEM replacement parts are available, but seem expensive- Room mapping in the app can be tricky to get right in open areas

The robot vacuum and mop combo has completely transformed how I clean my home. This isn’t just a vacuum—it’s a smart, powerful, and reliable cleaning partner. The suction power (18,000 PA!) is incredible, leaving my carpets and hard floors spotless every time. The dual RGB cameras and AI avoidance are top-notch—it easily recognizes obstacles, navigates around furniture, and never gets stuck in tricky corners. The mopping feature is equally impressive. I love the dry and wet separation system, which keeps clean water and dirty water apart, ensuring the mop is always fresh. The edge deep cleaning function also does a fantastic job of reaching those spots that most vacuums miss. The self-emptying and self-cleaning functions are lifesavers. I barely have to lift a finger—just let the Narwal do its job, and everything is handled automatically. It feels like true hands-free cleaning.Setup was quick, the app is intuitive, and the robot’s performance has exceeded my expectations in every way.

This was my 2nd unit. My first unit was delivered damaged. It had scratches all on front. 2nd unit:- it kept giving me system malfunction errors. I tried restarting and resetting the robot but it still didn’t work. It would get stuck on plane surface and keep rotating at one spot. I am now very frustrated with it so I started a return for 2nd unit. I placed another order as I want to give one more shot.Update: so after being disappointed, I had ordered it the 3rd time. It’s been almost 10 days now that I have been using this robot mop and vacuum unit. It’s been working well. Today I had an issue with base overflow and I reached out to Narwal customer service for troubleshooting. They were really helpful and guided me step by step. Customer service agent even offered to replace it with new unit. But by that time the problem was fixed. Overall, I am liking it. I have around 2200sq ft house including 2 floors. It does a great job cleaning. I just learned that I should clean the base and check all the connections every few days to make sure that it works well without any problems. I have hard floor on the main level and thick carpet on upper level. It works on both.

I’ve owned a few robot vacuums before, but this Narwal is in a completely different league. The AI obstacle avoidance is incredible — it identifies objects instantly and even gives a safe buffer around furniture and pet toys. Mapping the house was quick and easy, and the app made setup a breeze. The vacuum is both silent and surprisingly fast as it moves around. It detects dirtier areas automatically and scrubs them more thoroughly, which I find super helpful with daily messes. One full bottle of clean water gets me about 700 sq ft of mopping before it needs a refill, which is perfect for my space. The self-emptying base is a game-changer — hot-water mop washing, drying, and dust bag storage means I barely have to touch it. The suction is powerful, the brush never tangles, and it really shines in edge and corner cleaning.A neat bonus: when it’s running in the dark, the dual cameras turn on a little light, and it looks so cool — almost like the robot has its own set of binocular “eyes.”Overall, this is hands-down the best robot vacuum I’ve used. It’s quiet, fast, intelligent, and takes care of both vacuuming and mopping without a hassle. Worth every penny!

As a mom of 4, anything that saves me time and energy is a win in my books, and the Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra has definitely been a game-changer in my house. Between the kids, crumbs, spills, and constant foot traffic, keeping the floors clean can feel impossible, but this robot vacuum/mop combo really steps up.Everyone was a part of assembling this robot and as a team we did.The suction power (18000Pa!) is no joke; it actually picks up the mess instead of just dragging it around. I also love that it does both vacuuming and mopping, and the hot water wash with self-emptying means I’m not constantly stopping to maintain it. The dual RGB cameras with AI avoidance are impressive. I’ve watched it carefully maneuver around toys, shoes, and even stray socks that usually trip up other vacuums.I will say I’m still figuring out the app. The mapping is super quick (2–3 minutes), which is great, but I’m still learning how to customize and adjust things to my liking. Once I fully get the hang of the app, I think it will be even more powerful.Overall, it’s been a huge help in my busy household, cutting down my cleaning time and giving me one less thing to stress about. If you’re a parent juggling kids and chaos, this little helper is worth it.
