(4.5 stars) Best sound for this price but two notable quirks
General thoughts:I think the sound of this speaker is truly as good as other comments say. I’m not a hardcore audiophile but I have some hi-fi equipment and sense for good sound. Bass is clean and punchy: strong response down to 60 Hz and drops off quickly below that with a peak around 80 Hz (to my ears doing frequency sweep at 5 Hz intervals). Treble stays loud and clear up without buzzing (my ears can hear to ~16 kHz). Battery life for me is more like 10-12 hours than the stated 18 hrs at medium volume, though I mostly listen to bass-heavy electronic music which definitely drains the battery faster, so you could reasonably get close to 18 hours playing acoustic or classical music. Despite the wrap-around grille, the sound is not 360 degrees like some name-brand speakers of similar design, but that’s fine.Two quirks:(1): volume controlthe volume control is coarse which is especially noticeable at low volumes. When using the speaker in semi-shared spaces like my back porch or a camp site, the volume is either too quiet or, if I turn it up one increment, too loud.(Solution) This can be fixed by disabling absolute volume on your phone (I have Android but probably similar function with iPhones). Plenty of info online on how to do this–it is simple. Then the volume controls on the speaker and your phone function separately, so pressing the volume buttons on your phone uses your phones volume increments which are probably more precise than the speaker’s. Note that this will be true for all Bluetooth audio devices you use after changing the setting. **NOTE FOR MANUFACTURER: I would have rated 5 stars if the volume control was better/finer and I didn’t have to change my phone settings.(2): sound profilesthere are three sound profiles: “pop, bass, and vocals” and no clear indication of which mode you’re using (beyond one to three beeps). Furthermore, the setting is changed by pressing the power button (have to hold it to power off) which is right next to the play/pause button and easy to press by mistake. To my understanding and ears, “Pop” is the balanced, default setting which sounds great; “bass” is as described, and way too bassy; “Vocals” emphasizes mid tones and sharply cuts bass tones, making music sound thin and weak.At some point I accidentally switched the mode to “Vocals” without knowing. I thought maybe water got in or something happened to the electronics so my speaker now sounds like crap…I took a look back at the product page and totally forgot about the three modes. I was initially very disappointed because I loved the sound of the speaker and was relieved to hear it in the balanced mode again.**NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: please change the button programming so it’s not so easy to accidentally switch between sound profiles. Maybe press the power button three times or something. I don’t think anyone is changing sound profiles so often that the function needs to be so centrally accessible. Also, please add some voice that says “pop” or “bass” instead of the beep sounds. And why not just call the “pop” setting “balanced” instead?

Hi, and thank you for your quick response. The issue I started having was that when turning one side of the speaker it would sound muffled, but otherwise the quality of the speaker and the sound I really liked it so, probably I just got a piece with some problem, I got the replacement and it has been working perfectly. I really like and will recommend this product to my friends and colleagues. I work at a Starbucks Distribution Center taking care of a delayering robot, so the environment is very noisy but the speaker is capable of getting above the sound of the environment and provides a really good ambience, it has helped a lot. As I have to use it at full volume, it will last around 5 hours and I have a 12 hour shift, so by plugging it solves the issue. Also the Bluetooth holds really good the connection as I purchased another brand before that claimed had Bluetooth 6.0 and after 5 minutes started crackling horrible, I had to reset the Bluetooth connection, but with this product I have had that issue but only once every 2 or 3 days, but I understand that the issue is on the laptop itself, not the speaker. Overall, I am really happy with this little speaker.And for the gift, I would like the earbuds, thank you so much for all you do, and the quality that you put on your products.

Sounds Awesome not really 3D sound its obviously louder on one side.. Wish it had more bass but dont let that full ya im just a basshead it has plenty.. music sounds great very loud.. doesn’t distort and holds charge a long time!! Charged once been using it while i walk for the last 4 days.. still above half charged!!.. Not a fan of the rubber strap but i can see people liking that just not for my use.. is kinda heavy to carry around but i use carabiner and clip to backpack strap.. perfect for that.. easy to use button controls are easy very durable.. for the proce its tough to beat..

Big Sound at a Mega Value
Best speaker at this price point. The low end is solid and the battery keeps a long charge, which are two make-or-breaks for me. I recommend keeping the EQ set to flat and tweaking the sound on your player to fine tune to your taste. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the volume adjustment goes from quiet to pretty loud without an in between, so be prepared for that. All in all this is a dense, solidly constructed speaker which has a small footprint and big sound. It is easy to use and should last a long time if cared for.

Quality and benefits worth the money
Completely worth the price, sound quality is at the upmost quality i ever heard from a Bluetooth small speaker, I can hear the clarity of voice and the deep tones that comes out. Splendid….Plus the extra and added benefits, long battery life, USB-C plug for charging, EQ, voice assistance, the lighting. And it’s WATERPROOF. AMAZING…… I love it

Excellent product.
I wanted something to take when I go give guitar lessons, strong enough to project and able to get music in via a multitude of different means (micro SD, USB to computer, USB jump drive, blutooth, aux). The high wattage and multiple input methods make this thing really great. I need nothing but this and my guitar to provide the student with drum tracs or covers to help work with them, and not tinny at all. Like anything else, you can turn it up too high and overdrive the speakers if you are lame between the ears, but for the size and convenience of this, it is amazingly loud, plenty for a small space. My only complaint is that you can only cycle from one song to the next, not folder to folder or skipping ahead, so the massive capacity for songs on it really becomes hard to manage, meaning just load what you want for the day or sessions, and be careful to limit what you load into it if you need skip forward and get to the songs faster.
