Why does the strip light keep flashing or stop working after working for a while?
Check the USB device you are using and make sure the device supports at least 2A (10W) output power otherwise the strip light will flicker due to insufficient power or the USB device will be overloaded and stop working.
How to cut strip lights?
There are copper pieces every 12mm/0.47in on the strip light, and you can cut the strip light along the middle of these copper pieces.
What to do with the cut parts?
The cut strips can be reconnected to the original strips using 8mm COB connectors or soldering. Or you can add wires to the cut strip light so you can add a power supply or dimmer (both 5V) to it individually so you can install and use it elsewhere.

Good value and quality, the app could use more functionality
Very bright and vibrant for a USB power COB strip. I was impressed with the quality and the preset color combinations these have.I do wish the app had a full customization option, instead of solely relying on preprogrammed colors for each effect.The adhesive used is remarkably sticky, so I feel completely confident that it won’t come off. The controller itself is simple enough to use, and connecting the LED strip to the app using Bluetooth was very straightforward.

Well designed under-the-shelf lights
I’m happy with the PAUTIX COB LED strip lights I just got. The 640 LEDs packed into the 6.56ft length create even illumination without any dark spots. The 4000K color temperature is perfect for seeing things under my shelves that I used to lose in the dark. The RF remote makes it easy for me to adjust brightness levels from anywhere in the room. The USB power option is good, as I can plug it into any 5 volt USB port around the house. Installation was quick thanks to the strong 3M adhesive stick-back stuff.

Light pulses…very problematic
I stuck this over my working desk as I wanted to get the brightest thing available to light up a lone work desk area. Adhered perfectly. I did have it plugged into a normal USB type plug initially, but it would turn off I think because it got warm. I tried a variety of plug options but finally settled on an extension that had a variety of USB plugs on it. This seemed to solve the problem. I was hoping to have a variety of light options, like warm, cool, etc. but this is just very white bright…which was okay. After a few weeks though, I have noticed that the light “pulses” inconsistently. I have attempted to try to figure out what it might be but can’t find a solution. The remote works well, the light sticks well and the brightness and dimmer are good. I only rated it this low because I think the plugging and indiscriminate shut off is a problem. As well, the pulsing is almost worth sending it back. I probably will look at yet another light…

Works Great
I used them to light a miniature I made for my husband. The sticky side made them easy to install, but I did add a little glue to make sure they stay put. The video is them at their dimmest setting, so they will get a lot brighter.

I bought 2 of these to fit to my bookcases. Easy to fit for a woman with no real electrical experience. These lights come with a controller so you can adjust the brightness, they also come with WiFi remote. The adhesive is very strong, be careful around wallpaper as it can take it off if you’re not careful. My bookcases look fabulous and high end. The function is really good with strong light, I’m so pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend this product as it’s good value for money

I bought four of these they work great used for my 3 pc monitors and monitor riser thats for decorations (or clutter lol]So many brands don’t make usb smaller sizes for monitors anymore just large tv’s and use power adapters so this while a bit pricey is still worth it especially since it is a cob rgbic strip, it has more leds and features than the standard one color less brighter options out thereThis 2m length is only slightly more than necessary for my three 27″ screens. I haven’t paired with phone app yet but remote has plenty options I mostly use white to brighten behind monitor as I find it helps with eye strain brightening the surrounding area not just light from the screens glaring at you, but sometimes at night when I just want to chill I put it on music mode let it flash away through the colorsAlso note at first I thought the remotes were not working but I plugged the strips into a higher power usb hub and they worked perfect I didn’t pay attention to the power of the first one but the new one they worked in is a 50w hub so yay all in all I’m satisfied
