I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this little printer honestly deserves it. I’ve been using the Phomemo Portable Printer (M832D) for a few weeks now, and I am so impressed!Setup & Connectivity:Unboxing was super simple, and within minutes I had it connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth. The touchscreen on the printer itself makes it really user-friendly, and the app was straightforward to use (not overloaded with confusing features). It also connects easily to a laptop or PC, which is a nice bonus when I need to print something directly from work.Print Quality:For a thermal inkless printer, the quality is much better than I expected. Text comes out sharp and easy to read, and even images (like receipts, invoices, or black-and-white graphics) look surprisingly clear. Portable and solidly built, prints are well-pigmented but need practice to get paper off cleanly
I bought this printer to try out a more portable way of printing out quick documents from my phone. The unit is really solid and connected quickly to my phone. It came with a soft dust cover to keep it safe, and pre-loaded with a roll of paper which was GREAT as I was able to use the product right out of the box.The print quality is amazing, even though I’m mainly using it to print off the templates they offer. The printing is a bit loud. I wouldn’t be comfortable pulling this out in a library, but a coffee shop or office would be a-ok. It’s not crazy loud, but loud enough people might look if the environment is quiet enough.The only real con I have is removing what you’ve printed can get ugly. The printer has teeth to rip the page but there’s got to be a secret to tearing off what you’ve printed without shredding the bottom of the image. You can see in the picture, the piece of paper already torn off the printer, the bottom is wrecked with tears up through the bottom black portion. It’s not a huge deal for what I’m using the printer for but if you wanted to print more professional documents, you’d most likely have to trim up the bottom of what you’ve printed. Unless, as I’ve mentioned, there’s a secret to getting the print off that I haven’t figured out yet. I can’t tear off a piece of foil from a roll without it looking like a shark gnawed on it so this could be user error.Pros: Small, compact, easy to set up and use. Print quality is great as well.Cons: Thermal printers have thinner paper, and the tearing teeth shred the print (again, that could be user error, and I will update my review should I figure out how I’m supposed to get a clean rip).UPDATE: Well, I think I figured it out. You need to pull up while trying to detach. I put my right hand on the unit to hold it steady, and with my left hand I pulled gently left to right and the tear was clean and perfect!

Nice portable thermal printer
I’ve used an inkless thermal printer in the past. The M832D has several big improvements that make it easier (and more likely) to use.First is the touchscreen control panel. It’s user-friendly and makes the printer easier to use – no more remembering what button to press or how many times to press it. The inclusion of the (roll) paper inside the printer is a big help for an on-the-go printer. No more carting a special box/folder of paper to feed through the printer. You can still manually feed sheets or a continuous roll through the printer, though. Great feature!A great aspect of a this printer is its inkless thermal printing technology. You no longer need to buy expensive ink cartridges, toners, or ribbons, significantly reducing operational costs. While you need thermal paper, it’s generally more affordable than traditional printer consumables.The M832D provides crisp, clear black-and-white prints. For a thermal printer, its 300 DPI resolution provides great readability for documents and simple images. While it doesn’t print color photos or highly detailed graphics like an inkjet printer, it’s perfect for text-heavy documents and basic visuals. The print quality is more than adequate for professional and personal use, especially when using high-quality thermal paper and ensuring the printer’s battery is adequately charged.Overall, this printer is a great choice to ease of use, print quality, and portability.

Wanted a yearly subscription nowWorks well but uses paper similar to old school fax paper.. it marks when scratched etc. It’s not to thin so it’s more durable.I like not needing ink. I’m tired of the cost of ink being unreasonable.It was easy to set up and connect.

È un ottimo prodotto per effettuare stampe veloci. La stampa è di buona qualità sia con il rotolo di carta che con i fogli A4 (ovviamente carta termica). Facile l’installazione ed il funzionamento tramite l’app dedicata. Non ho avuto alcuna difficoltà a connettere tramite bluetooth sia lo smartphone che il tablet. Dimensioni perfette per chi come me non ha molto spazio. Ottimo acquisto

J’utilise cette imprimante portable depuis 6 mois lorsque je suis en déplacement. Je n’ai absolument rien à reprocher à cette imprimante: elle est compacte, rapide, utilisable très facilement et on peut utiliser soit des bobines de papier thermique soit des feuilles A4 thermiques. C’est vraiment l’idéal et je conseille cette imprimante Phomemo M832D avec son étui (pour la protéger durant le transport). Elle est connectée, pour l’impression, soit sur mon ordinateur Windows 11 ou sur ma tablette Android ou mon téléphone Android. Il y a quelques jours, j’ai pris contact avec la hotline de Phomemo pour un renseignement au sujet du remplacement de mon ordinateur. Leur réponse a été particulièrement rapide et efficace. Je les remercie pour leur gentillesse et leurs compétences. C’est vraiment le produit idéal pour imprimer des documents en déplacement professionnel ou personnel.

Perfekter Drucker. Mit den Originalen Case von Phomemo perfekter Reisebegleiter. Endlich das Problem keine Tinte perat Geschichte falls Mann ein Schreiben oder Formular ausdrucken möchte. Der Drucker macht sogar eine kurze Pause bei endlos Rollen A4, so das man schnell die A4 Seite trennen kann.

Lo primero que imprimí, por supuesto, fue una foto de Leo (mi perro), porque no hay mejor forma de estrenarla que con su carita ocupando una hoja entera. 😂La calidad de impresión es sorprendentemente buena para ser térmica: 300 dpi dan para bastante más detalle de lo que esperaba. Obviamente no es una impresora de fotografía profesional, pero para documentos, apuntes, etiquetas o incluso cosas decorativas, va perfecta.Tiene pantalla táctil, se conecta por Bluetooth y no necesita tinta, lo cual es una maravilla para no tener que andar preocupándote por cartuchos o recambios. Además, es compatible con móvil, tablet y ordenador, así que puedes mandar documentos directamente desde el teléfono en segundos.El diseño es compacto y muy limpio, ideal para tener en un escritorio sin que moleste.Quizás la parte negativa es que hace ruido y es lenta pero.. ES UNA IMPRESORA PORTÁTIL SIN TINTA, qué más queremos? jajaja Realmente me ha sorprendido para MUY BIEN.En resumen, una impresora muy versátil, sin complicaciones y con una calidad más que decente para uso diario, y encima sin tinta.
