I love it!
First off, I have had several robotic vacuums and mops up to this point, and all have been iRobot, except for one mop. They have always given me trouble after a short amount of time. I said I would never get another iRobot in my lifetime, and that is why I did a deep dive into robotic vacuums for weeks. I looked at YouTube’s videos judging how well they run, vacuum, and mop. I read the reviews under each each vacuum after looking at the videos. I was not going to get another robot that I hated. The videos and the reviews were all pretty similar with the Roborock Q Revo. The difference between the top of the line and this middle of the road version boiled down to two things: 1). The top of the line vacuumed just a bit better than the Q with two rollers, but not enough to warrant not purchasing it to spend more money and get Roborock’s top model. 2). The Roborock Q Revo seemed to get more positive reviews with the round mop heads than the flat mop heads, even with the sonic motion. This is the reason for my purchase of the Roborock Q Revo. My hardwood/laminate floors were pretty dirty, being off the kitchen and not getting the attention they deserve. It took 4 washings to get them to shine like a new silver dollar! The first two did not do a good job and I was getting worried. Then I put Roborock’s floor cleaning detergent, that is low sudsing, into the water and the third wash the floors looked really good. The 4th wash they were perfect and company worthy. The tile in the kitchen/dining area are really clean too. I am so happy with it. The area rugs in the living room and hallway get very clean. The area rugs in the bedroom are Persian rugs and they grab the dog hair more than the ones in the living area, so they don’t come out spotless. Almost but not 100%. You would have to get the top of the line for that. However, they are wonderful in the living/hallways. I can’t tell you why this is. The Q Revo robot does not have two rollers, and just having one I think is the problem. This is not a top of the line robot, yet it performs almost as good. My living area is 45’ x 25’ and depending on the work you want the robot to do (vacuum both directions or just in one direction) and how you want the mop to clean (deep or regular) you will get another room done as well. It all depends. It washes and dries the mop heads better than the top of the line. The reviews showed there was still some dirt on the top of the line robot’s mop heads. The Q’s come out perfect. The robot is easy to clean inside, and the filter is washable. I might be able to go two rooms without getting new water, but my rooms are very large. The tray at the bottom of the Q Revo comes out and I can wash it at the sink, if it has dog hair in it. The top of the line has a different cleaning method and it is harder to clean the mop washing tray, compared to the Q. (Having 4 dogs it gets a workout!) It has a dust bin bag and it is pretty large. I am glad for the bag, even though I thought it might be better with a bagless option, I now prefer the bag. I opted for the white robot and it is just beautiful. If you are having doubts, don’t. It is a worthy, and pretty great vacuum and mop. People seem to love it and I can see why. I would buy it again. It has made my life easier and I am thankful. Oh! I have called customer service two time already as I didn’t understand something, and they were just wonderful and they were there on a Sunday! Try to do that with iRobot.

Must have with kids
I have had 4 different brands of robot vacuums. They all have had their pros and cons and this one is no exception, but this one is my favorite so far for consistency and how it keeps my floors clean. Does it sometimes suck up things it shouldn’t like a sock or Lego and get stuck? Yes, and other robot vacuums may have better object avoidance sensing to avoid those kinds of things, but I just make sure to keep the floors free of clutter so this thing can make my life easier. It does a great job on rugs, hardwood floors, bathroom tile, and carpet. It also handles corners well and other robot vacuums have trouble there. It has a low profile so it can easily go under furniture. This little vacuum can also navigate between all my chairs on my dining table, which is impressive. Not to mention, it has a mopping function which is so handy for my hardwood. It’s easy to clean out the old water too once it’s done mopping- you just pull it out of the docking station and dump. I wish the object avoidance sensing was better, but this model mapped my house and it consistently does a great job of keeping my floors clean from the front of my house throughout every room and it remembers the map. I’ve had other vacuums that had to re-map with every use and it was extremely frustrating. Battery life is great and I run it twice a day. I love that it self empties and goes back to the charger when it is out of battery. Suction power is great too. The app Roborock app is easy to use, you can set up no-go zones and set up when you want the vacuum to run. For the money spent on this item you want it to be a quality piece and I can say without a doubt that I love this thing. I can’t imagine my life without it now because I have little boys and there are always messes in my home and this makes my life so much easier when I don’t have to manage the floor too!

Needs a lot of work! Hold Off for now!
THIS IS FOR THE Q REVO- Bought this on launch day and received it today. Took it out the box and the vacuum had difficulty connecting to my phone to set it up. It wasn’t a wi-fi issue but an issue with the vacuum itself. After finally getting it paired and turning on the reactive ai sensors before mapping it went downhill from their. I set it to quick map the house and every couple of movements from the vacuum it would throw an obstacle alert. It got to the point where it blocked itself in and wouldn’t move. There is nothing on my floors or anything that would cause it to throw a obstacle alert. I turned it off and the vacuum runs fine. I had an S5 Max and either the Q Revo is significantly quieter on max suction or something isn’t right. The dock itself is very tall, I don’t think they needed to have such large water tanks. The dock worked as expected emptied the dust bin perfectly and dried the pads nicely. The vacuum also would spin its mop heads even when on a vacuum only mode on my rug. So something is wrong with that as well. Setting up the type of flooring in the app doesn’t make sense as if you say part of the room is carpet then it won’t clean the carpet but everything around it. Also when starting a clean in the bedroom which is carpet only and set to vacuum only the vacuum still decided to pre soak its pads. The pads lift up but not high enough in my opinion. Overall I expect it to get better with firmware updates but i’d hold off for now.

16 Month Review (8000 sq-m or 85,000 sq-ft cleaned later):The cleaning performance is impressive—effective suction and mopping, even better than the S7 MaxV. It does a great job cleaning floors, but it doesn’t quite get into corners well, so be prepared to give those a quick touch-ups.The self-emptying and self-refilling features are easily the standout qualities. The robot only needs a refill and a dump every week, and the parts are easy to replace. These functions save you a lot of hassle in maintaining the vacuum. The app is the second-best feature. It’s user-friendly, offering helpful reminders, scheduling regular cleanings, zoning for specific areas, adjusting noise levels, and the ability to pause or restart the cleaning process. In terms of navigation, I found it to be better than the S7 MaxV, but it’s not perfect. It tends to eat the occasional cable, gets caught on loose strands of carpet, and sometimes beaches itself near my desk. Still, you’ll grow to love its quirks because 99% of the time, this little guy is saving you so much time. For my 1,000 sqft apartment, battery life hasn’t been an issue. However, when I ran it on multiple floors of my mom’s 2,500 sqft house, it ran out of battery after cleaning about 1.5 floors.Overall, this vacuum is a fantastic time-saver with some small imperfections, but the features it offers make it worth the investment, easily the best purchase I have made on Amazon. Pro Tip: Buy yourself some furniture risers, and carpet stickers and you will be questioning why you didn’t buy a Roborock sooner.

Got it 2 weeks ago and it’s been cleaning every 2-3 days. Vacuuming, mopping. I put it in my walk in closet as in the living room I could hear it when it was drying the mop. Now the “Kitty” has its own garage.PS. If you want to change the name, long-press on the picture of it, above “Enter” and it will give you an option to change the name.It does a great job cleaning with just water. I will not be using the OMO solution as the ingredients seem to be useless. To fight the dirty water smell, add some bleach, vinegar, etc in the dirty water tank, otherwise the water will start smelling after a week. It’s been improving cleaning with each clean. I think the Kitty is still learning about my place.Learn to use routines, maps, obstacle settings,no go-zones, mop/water settings, etc. It can do a lot of things for you!!!==I had some kind of a robot vacuum in 2010 for a year then after 1 year the battery died. It wasn’t very good and I am amazed at the tech in these new ones. At this point I will only be vacuuming maybe once a month in the few spots it can get in. It will save a lot of time over the years and for you married people – no more fighting whose turn it is to mop!! I have a few friends who always fight as they hate cleaning. After seeing my Kitty work, they got theirs and now happier than ever – marriage saved 🙂
