The best smart strip lights
After reading so many reviews, I’m glad I settled on these. I got two of the regular colored 16.4’ strips on sale for Black Friday.I installed one strip behind my tv and the other under my kitchen cabinets.They’re super easy to install with great adhesive and reinforcement clips where needed like corners and such. Once you download the Roku smart app you can pick and set colors as well as play with all the other bells and whistles. Pairing with Alexa was quick and painless. I usually stress out about installing anything techy, but this was an absolute breeze.The color selection is consistent and vibrant. I love that the kitchen lights match the tv for a glowy ambiance. Highly recommend.

A Great Find To Elevate Movie Night!
This light strip is a must have for your entertainment experience!Set up was easy as the instructions were clear and concise, they can also be synced with your Amazon Alexa or Google voice assistant . The lights are vibrant and can be adjusted with the voice assistant or in the Roku app.I have had the lights up for a few days now and I have had no issues with the adhesive, the company has provided clips to help secure the corners.Overall, they are a perfect gift or means to elevate a space.

Best Light Strips I’ve Purchased. But 3 frustrating things.
These light strips are way better than any others I bought. They have a rubber coating, 3M tape. Easy to assemble and to operate. Some things that make it frustrating.1) There is NO option for a slow transition between full colors. That just doesn’t exist and it should. It would be nice to just pick the colors you wanted to transition to and pick the speed of the transition. Most other lights off for this.2) You can’t cut these lights and I have a need for a tight turn. It would be much better if Roku pioneered something to allow for a much tighter turn. Most other strips allow for cutting and splicing. These don’t. I’m not even suggesting that. There is an opportunity to develop a strip that’s more snake-like. It would be a game changer.3) The longest length option seems to be 32 feet and I have a need for longer. No daisy chain or other option so anyone needing a longer strip is out of luck.Other than those issues I highly recommend this brand. Worth the extra money.

Updated review, at first I really liked these strip lights. Not anymore, the “timer” just does not work. You have to set a “rule” so I set it from 7:00pm to 12:01am. At 7:00 they turn on ( sometimes ) and they don’t go off at 12:01am, they are on all night long. I did reach out to Roku through the app. So far no response back. They look great, but they don’t do the job they are supposed to do. I would recommend staying away from these and go with another brand.Updated update: So I came home today I noticed the lights were on. They were a different color than what I had it set at. No problem, I’ll connect to them through the app. If you guessed I could not connect to them you guessed correct. Factory default, re-install app, remove lights, install same lights, I had enough. Called ROKU! The music on hold is maddening. Talked to a rep, talked them through it. Again, factory default, reinstall app, uninstall light from app, re-install lights from app. Timer still does not work correctly. Now I’m a hot potato, so they hand me off to the ” EXPERT DEVICE PERSON ” again music on hold. My wife says, how long you’ve been on with them for? I looked at the time on my phone as it kept ticking 1 hour 15 minutes and counting… I hung up. The lights are going in the garbage and will be replaced with another brand. Do not count on their “1 year warranty” it’s BS. My 1 hour time alone on the phone with them is worth more than these lights cost.

Have a sure plan before attempting installation.
This product works exactly as advertised, however I would strongly advise that you know exactly how and where you intend to install this BEFORE attempting installation, because this is a one and done type of application. Not solely because of the reasonably strong adhesive backing material, but because of the positioning and construction/assembly of the connector components. Once you connect the power supply cable to the light strip, the release pin is so microscopic that it is literally impossible to take it apart again if you discover after the fact that the power supply will be in the wrong position to follow the correct path of both the intended installation pattern and also the intended power outlet to provide electricity to the product. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful product and it works perfectly. Better than expected, actually. I just wish Roku made the connectors easier to disconnect if you realize afterwards that the power source wires need to be turned in a different direction than the adhesive wiring is finally installed. Brightness is excellent.
