Pros and Cons
This is the best steamer I could find under $200 and here’s why from someone who knows steamers:Pros:Rubber hose instead of a braided one. Avoid the braided ones because they bend in on themselves at the handle thus restricting flow.A planted based for better stability. A lot of these steamers have wheels and that makes no sense for an item that is 15 pounds. Avoid the wheels because they cause the steamer to sway when steaming heavy items.Quiet and effective. Many other steamers are very loud but yet this one is virtually silent and still effective.Cons:The hanger assembly is cheap and without clips. Although I’ve seen plenty that are worse, I still don’t understand why these new ones did away with clips.Cost. A lot of these steamers are made terribly cheap. This one seems well done enough so I can bear with the cost.Conclusion:Overall this seems to be the best I could find because you’ll find that those pros are hard to find in other steamers. Also, I found that I was able to swap the hanger assembly with the one from my old steamer so I’m overall happy.

Great item. Great purchase had to replace a 20 yr old that finaaly stopped! Works nice, heats and ready to use fast. Wish it was on casters.

Assemble Yourself = Leaky
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my steamer. I had a hand-held one I’d bought a few years ago that would leak water on me all the time. This one is amazing 90% of the time. I’m able to steam my clothes in just 5 minutes every morning (from the time I cut the steamer on to the time I’m done). I LOVE how much space I’ve saved by replacing my ironing board. The height is practically perfect, and the water tank lasts for about 2 weeks with me steaming 1-2 items per day. My only complaint is that it leaks a little. Apparently, you have to be very vigilant about tightening the screws as you put it together to make sure that it doesn’t. And before you laugh (because of COURSE you want to tighten the screws) I truly thought I had done it correctly for the first few weeks, and then a couple of weeks ago the hose completely detached from the base. So I only say anything to say: Double-check when assembling. Otherwise, I have recommended this product to everyone I know. I love it.

This is a great steamer! I am starting an on-line resale shop and have a lot of clothes to steam but using this steamer is quick and effortless. I wanted to find a quality steamer at a lower price, and I could not be happier with my purchase. You will need to clean the steamer (directions included in box) to maintain quality performance, but this is true with any steamer. This steamer makes the dreaded task FUN!

Steams good, build quality is ok.
It works good for light to medium use. But if your using it heavy might want to look for a better one as the build quality is more so on the cheaper side. But in the price range its only a bit more than the handheld steamers and it does a much better job. It also holds a good amount of water, on the highest setting it will last about 30m before refill.If your on the fence between this and already have a iron, this is quicker and easier once you get the hang of it. I can do my stuff in about half the time now. Although it really only works good on shirts, for pants it works, but its more tricky as you need a place to lay them down so for this I still prefer the iron.The hanger stand thing is ok, but its kind of short (im 6’1) so I either have to put the unit on top of a box or sit down when using it. The hanger should have also had a solid piece behind it to make steaming easier as the clothes just move when trying to steam, therefore I have been just using in by a wall as the flat surface and using the hanger to let the clothes cool down before putting in the closet.

It worked for about 10 shirts steaming then it stopped, and yes I did pay over 100$ for it but I was too sick after my chemo to return it and I would never order nothing like that on Amazon cuz I ordered on Temu the same thing for 15$ and it’s been working great

Perfect for my needs.
This is as promised it is large, so be prepared for that but I don’t have to hold my clothes up with one hand to steam it with the other, I love that. I haven’t had any issues at all with any leaking or getting too hot to hold. If you held the hose it would be hot. It does a very good job.

This item did not work. This is a 110v product for the US market. It comes with an American two pin plug so you can not plug it in. If you cut off the US two pin plug, fit a UK plug, and plug it in it will overheat and possibly catch fire

Product looks good but it does not have a constant throw of the steam ( it throws the steam for maybe a minute and then it takes a break). It requires an adapter for american socket.
