The camera lost image after 8 months. The camera replacement is working
I have to give this product 5 stars for several reasons1. The sensor runs by batteries AAA and AA which I can buy and replace easily as needed2. you must have reliable WiFi so this product can operate. This product give notices to my cellphone when the sensors are activated. There is also a log of all activation which I can review if needed.3. I can arm/ unarm the system remotely via my cellphoneI will give further comments after couple monthsthere is only a drawback. I am unable to set up turn on the alarm before midnight via IFTT. this function is failed to work as it supposes to be. Therefore I have to arm the system manually before bedtimeI got the camera replacement & it’s working so far. I give 5 stars again because they stand behind their products

Good alarm system for small home or apartment
For the most part, this product works very well. I have had no issues with the physical hardware. The sensors were easy to set up and the app responds well to the sensors being triggered. I can’t comment on the camera since I never installed it.This system is great for an apartment or small home. Larger homes are better off with an alarm system that can contact the local authorities when triggered. The alarm is loud as long as one is near or in the home. I could barely hear it from the street which is about 20 ft. from the front door, but the siren should be loud enough to ward off an intruder. My only gripe is that the app itself does tend to be flaky at times, but the company does seem to address issues with updates. The app has been working much better than when I first installed it. It used to freeze and there was some delay between when a sensor was triggered and the event was reflected in the app; the updates resolved that issue and now it responds in real time.I tested the alarm while I was at work on both the wireless network and my data network and I received a notification that the alarm was triggered both times. In addition, the system sends push notifications whenever the door sensors are triggered — even when the alarm is off. It’s a good thing, but can get annoying when someone is constantly coming and going.Th only other minor issue I have with the app is that when the alarm is armed I have to click Home then Alarm to get an accurate setting of the alarm. Otherwise, just clicking Alarm will make it appear that the alarm is disarmed when if fact it is not — and vice versa. I have accidentally set off the alarm a couple times because of the false display. If they can fix that issue, I will give this product an enthusiastic 5 stars.

Great upgrade from SkylinkHome
I had an old Skylink home series system for about 10 years, and when the controller died on that I decided to upgrade to SkylinkNet. So this review is primarily aimed at those of you who might be upgrading from the older Skylink Home series. My top reasons I like the Skylink SK-250 over the old SkylinkHome series.1. Remote Access: The primary reason I upgraded is I wanted to be able to check the status of the alarm remotely. So those times where I wondered if I set the alarm in the old days, now I can just pull it up on the app and check it and set it if I forgot.2. No more Dialer and landline needed: I couldn’t get my old skylinkhome dialer to join the new SkylinkNet hub, even though I thought I read you could. But since mine is so old, it didn’t surprise me. However, the nice think is I don’t need a dialer with SkylinkNet, as you can use IFTTT to configure a call when the alarm goes off. It requires an IFTTT account (and you have to be willing to share your alarm status with the cloud..) but so far it has worked flawlessly.3. The Event Log: One frustration I had with the old system was when a false alarm was generated, I had a hard time determining which sensor was triggered. Sure you could look at the flashing lights on the controller, but it was never terribly clear which sensor in the zone triggered the alarm. Now on the phone app you can just check the event log, and see which sensors have activity and triggered the alarm. Nice!4. Common Battery sizes: Skylinkhome sensors had odd battery sizes that I had to order special just for this skylinkhome. The new sensors use AA or AAA batteries.5. Alarm configuration: Much better options on how to configure your alarm. My favorite feature is you can turn off the alarm speaker when testing your system, and you don’t have the earsplitting alarm when you are verifying everything is working. The new system is a little pricier than the old series – so if none of the above features I mention matter to you – go with skylinkhome. SkylinkHome doesn’t require an Ethernet cable, so you can put the keypad anywhere you want. I primary use remotes, so thats not a big deal to me (also my old remotes did sync up with the new system and work just fine). Finally, the camera that came with the deluxe system is kind of weak. I don’t believe it has a setting that records on motion detection which I think is the most important feature. I have a separate camera system – and would recommend anybody that gets an alarm system also have cameras. Cameras puts your mind at ease when you get false alarms.

item was to hard to install
Skylink lied to me before i bought it told me it was pet friendly motion sensors. The hub would not connect to the I phone kept getting error message. I finally got it connected after 4 tries.the motion sensors come with stick tape an screws idiots never thought of how to change batteries. without running the tape I had to by velcro strips camera did not work stated no sd card. The system states that it works with IFTTT but it would not send alerts to my phone once I installed it I finally got it to work after resetting my entire phone and setting up the IFTTYT YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE APP OPEN TO GET ALERTS THIS IS STUPID. What a nightmare to set up took 2 days so far. I am an Engineer for 40 years. I guess Vietnam never herd of quality control

was expecting more from this system. The motion detector …
was expecting more from this system. The motion detector works ok but the stickers holding it to the wall fell off day1. the door sensors same issue someone actually tried to break into my home and the door sensors flew off the door which alarmed me. the camera has no motion detector and it does not monitor well. if you happen to be looking at the camera an see something you can hit the record button it does not recordd on its own

This product was a waste of money. Such high hopes for a system that is constantly offline and doesnt work. The door sensors occasionally give you a false opening and either sets off the alarm or is usually marked as “open”The camera has worked once or twice for me, the app interface is hard to use the pan and tilt mode. The voice function and speaker makes you sound like a distorted robot and basically useless. I havent even got to see how the playback function works on this product. But its not like I havent tried. I spent hours setting this up, combing through the instruction manuals, called tje company many times (no answer) and even emailed with no response. Im already too far set up to even want to tear down for a refund. Im left with a bunch of equipment ill probably trip over for yeard then throw out. Very disappointed in this set.

Deberia confirmar que todos los dispositivos funcionan, es una buena compra como para que valgo no funcione.Deberían mandar un sensor de ventana de reemplazo, uno no funciona, eso es una decepción. Espero lo tomen en cuenta.
