The RV30 Max Plus is a 2-in-1 vacuum & mop combo. It includes Anti-Drop protection, which allows the robot to detect step edges and respond in milliseconds to prevent falls. Its great! V30 model is the way to go
Vacuum did a great job. The V30 model is definitely the way to go. I can see the 360 LiDAR at work in tight spots. It was even able to navigate under my son’s powerwheels truck and in tight spots underneath cluttered tables and beds. Goes over floor transitions with ease. Mopped great. You are able to control the amount of water used and Vacuum speed wich is cool. The app is very detailed with a ton of options/controls and info. I already have Tapo cameras (which is what led me towards the vacuum because the cameras have been fantastic) so adding the Vacuum was a piece of cake. Im honestly super impressed. I know there’s some not so good reviews, especially on the v20 model, but maybe they didn’t have the firmware update or something. My house has many obstacles between the kids toys and furniture. It even sucked up wet leafs that had got tracked in just before the first run. Its also very quiet. I have it set to run at 12am when everyone is in bed.So as of right now its a 100% win. Time will tell. If any issues come up I’ll update review. As of right now I’d definitely recommend.But again, the V30 model is much better just because of the 360 LiDAR. Spend the extra money.

As good as much more expensive vacs
My older name brand robovac finally crapped out after about 10 years of use. I had had really good experiences with TAPO smart plugs, light switches, and cameras, so decided to give their vacuum/mop a try.It was easy to set up, and after it spent a minute mapping out the space, it went right to work. It cleans well, is easy to schedule, and is MUCH QUIETER than my previous vacuum.The battery life is OK, but that is not really a concern. If it runs low during a cleaning, it returns to its base and charges and picks up right where it left off.The suction if pretty good. It picks up my dog’s hair, and I have a husky mix, and she had just gone through her spring shedding. If you know, you know, but huskies drop TONS of hair when they shed, and this vacuum gets it up well.Honestly, I’d wager this is the best value for the money you’ll be able to find.Full disclosure, the first one I was sent was a lemon. It had a repeating error when trying to map the room. After some emails to customer service, they agreed it needed to be replaced. They sent me a new one and a free shipping label to return the old one. It took a little longer than I would want, but overall was not a terribly painful process and I did not have to fight them, I just had to re-explain things a few times, and had to log in to a clunky website to confirm my shipping preference. But everything else I’ve bought from Tapo has worked perfectly straight out of the box, 3 security cameras, a doorbell camera, a deadbolt, and about 30 smart light switches of different types. So I’m not too bothered. Their smart products are consistently as good as any other brand and MUCH less expensive.

Gets itself out of trouble pretty well.
So far, so good. Setup was easy. Added to Apple Home via Matter support easily as well. The app guided me through the initial room(s) mapping and then allowed me to simply start the first clean cycle. I was impressed with it’s ability to get itself out of some tough positions. I didn’t think it could navigate over some bar stool legs/bars that rested on the floor, but it did! It took just a bit – it needed to try, rotate a bit but no manual intervention was required. I am pretty impressed. It cleaned a large family room, hall, small kitchen like area, and a bedroom with the battery at 47% when it finished and returned to its base as expected. This included the initial (one-time) room mapping activity as well. It emptied itself without issue. It is a bit noisy when emptying but not complaining – it didn’t take long. Would rather have it noisy for just a bit than not empty well. Just need to ensure I am not on Teams calls when it empties. :)Tip: To add to Matter note the instructions and look for the Matter Setup Code in the Tapo app Settings. I couldn’t seem to find any barcode to scan – just manually enter the provided code and it added itself to the Home app w/o issue. I need to investigate the Tapo app settings and features a bit more to see what it provides that the Home integration doesn’t.

Por supuesto, hay que tener en cuenta que el vaciado de la basura, el rellenado del agua y la limpieza del trapo de trapeado, se deben de realizar manualmente. Sin embargo, es excelente para mantener una casa limpia.Claro que es recomendable realizar una limpieza mas profunda de vez en cuando, ya que no retira todas las manchas (como dulces o salsas)

So far so good. Good at washing but really good great at sucking. Honestly the sucking is so great I’m surprised at how powerful it is. Left me speechless. Washing isn’t bad but definitely will need to refill more often if you have a large living space. But yea my god, sucking is awesome.

Tapo support is horrible – had issues with the device and took them over 2 weeks to say tough luck and that I have to deal with it. Using my 4 year old iRobot vacuum instead.

Estou usando a duas semanas e a surpresa é realmente positiva. O mapeamento é rápido e a velocidade do robô também. Aplicativo fácil de uso, programação de zonas de linpeza e horarios ok. Pontos importantes: o robo não fala em português (tem várias línguas mas não o pt), o aplicativo é em PT. Ele sobe degrau de ate uns 2cm, sem o tanque de água cheio. E a autolimpante funciona bem.
