Can bridge the gap between dumb and smart lights.
Have been using in a bathroom for a couple weeks and work great. I have these smart bulbs on a dumb switch and they connect to the zigbee network within about 5 seconds to be adjusted. You can set start up color and brightness. I want them to just be a light the majority of the time and on rare occasions adjust for mood and they do this very well. Keeps the spouse happy with the “just works”.

Love Third Reality
Love third reality smarthome products. My go to when looking for a new sensor etc. the only issue I’ve had is updating zigbee firmware through z2m but the bulbs have been fantastic overall.

Great for the price, some color limitations that don’t bother me for my setup
Third Reality has been extremely easy to integrate with Home Assistant (using HA’s zigbee dongle) and very reliable. The brightness levels are quite good, the only thing lacking is the quantity of the colors I suppose? I’ve had hue bulbs and the colors match your expectations with those, but if I ask google for purple I get a pink, yellow results in green etc. – I have better results if I try to manually select colors in the Home Assistant app.that being said! I mostly wanted a color bulb so that when I need night /dim lights I could get the red color as well. using Kelvin coloring for these bulbs works just fine and using the Adaptive Lighting integration for HA I can get red at night. And if I want to use a bulb for notifications I can fiddle around to get the correct looking color in my automations.

Works Seamlessly with Hue
So far, these are great. I have a Philips Hue system and I wanted some larger color bulbs and these are so much cheaper than the official ones. They paired with the Hue bridge instantly and look great. I was shocked at how easy the setup was, literally just screwed them in and then searched in the Hue app, and there they were. Would highly recommend these bulbs.

Bright and reliable
I use these with Home Assistant using Zigbee connection and they work perfectly. I absolutely love them. When set for “temperature” (e.g. warm, white, cool) they’re just as bright as any other smart bulb. When using RGB colors, they’re slightly dimmer than some of the others, but, it is not anything that anyone else in my home noticed so i think you will be pleased with these. They’re as easy to install as screwing in a lightbulb while an app is open on your phone.

Terrible colors
The absolute worst color in any zigbee bulb I’ve ever purchased. Not vivid at all. Can’t produce orange. Will never buy again

Third Reality Zigbee Bulbs – Persistent Hidden TouchLink Group Bindings Causing Issues
Third Reality ZB3/ZL1 bulbs accumulate hidden TouchLink group bindings that are not visible in Zigbee2MQTT and cannot be cleared through normal unbind operations. These bindings cause:Group commands ignored – Bulb doesn’t respond to Zigbee group OFF commandsState bounce-back – Bulb turns OFF briefly, then immediately turns back ONMessage flooding – Single commands generate 4-40x duplicate MQTT state messagesCross-talk – Turning one bulb ON causes other bulbs to turn ONTechnical DetailsWhen attempting to unbind from default_bind_group, we discovered bulbs were bound to dozens of hidden groups (IDs 900-920+). These bindings are stored in bulb firmware but are invisible to the Zigbee coordinator.Diagnosis command:mosquitto_pub -t “zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/device/unbind” -m ‘{“from”: “BULB_NAME”, “to”: “default_bind_group”}’Error reveals: bound to unknown Group 901, 902, etc.Evidence of hidden bindings:Create temp group, then unbind succeeds (proving binding existed)mosquitto_pub -t “zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/group/add” -m ‘{“id”: 901, “friendly_name”: “TempGroup901”}’mosquitto_pub -t “zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/device/unbind” -m ‘{“from”: “BULB_NAME”, “to”: “TempGroup901”}’Response: “status”:“ok”, clusters: genOnOff, genLevelCtrl, lightingColorCtrlWe found 6+ hidden group bindings per bulb across groups 900-920. Even after unbinding all discovered groups, some bulbs continued misbehaving.WorkaroundThe only reliable fix is factory reset via power cycling (on/off 5-6 times rapidly until bulb flashes). This clears all firmware-level bindings. The bulb must then be re-paired and re-added to groups. This works for a few weeks, then the TouchLink Groups comeback and message flood.Questions for Third Reality1. Why do these bulbs accumulate so many hidden TouchLink bindings?2. Is there a firmware command to clear all group bindings without factory reset?3. Can future firmware updates prevent TouchLink binding accumulation?4. Is there a way to disable TouchLink functionality entirely via Zigbee command?Environment- 20+ Third Reality ZB3/ZL1 bulbs- Zigbee2MQTT 2.6.3- SONOFF ZBDongle-E (Ember/EZSP)- Channel 25- All bulbs on firmware 1.00.74

Another great product by ThirdReality
I design automation products for a living and I’ve worked with a lot of brands. Most of my smart home products are made by Third Reality now because I can save money and still get the features I want. I use home assistant and these connected right up. I moved everything to a separate device and use these with ZigBee2MQTT and haven’t had any issues. I’m about to buy another few boxes of these.
