Much better range and speed than my old Deco mesh
I bought these “renewed” which I was unsure of since it was a 3rd party seller and not Amazon Warehouse/resale (and even that is 50/50). The packaging was a little distressed but the Deco units looked brand new and worked just fine. Actually better than fine – much faster and much better range than my old Deco S4 (AC1200) system. I first tried to “add” these to my existing system but that quickly went south, so I just reset everything and started over and it took less time to do that. I used these 2 units on the main floor (opposite sides of the house) and then I kept one of my old S4 units for the upstairs (since I don’t currently have high bandwidth needs there). The speed is much improved (when connected to the AX5700 units especially) and the range now extends out to a building I have that is 80ft behind my house. With the old system I got 2.4GHz only and just barely – I typically got 1-2Mbps if I was lucky. With the new system I am getting Wifi6 at 30Mbps or higher – which is enough to have basic connectivity for most usage. In the house I see 500-1000 Mbps download and 35-40Mbps up (Spectrum gig cable). So yes, these are faster and better than my old Deco S4! Glad I upgraded!

I now have a low maintenance, reliable, superfast wifi network!
Took awhile to locate and optimize- lots of logistics for a 3 story house with lots of challenges for wifi signal travel, but now this is a superfast easy to manage a 2 wifi network system integrated with a fios router and two other Deco devices. I am super impressed with how it accesses wifi 6 and max speeds and keeps all devices online. I have it set to auto-reboot once a week at 3am while we’re sleeping. Thats typcially it for maintenance on these unless there’s a power or internet outage, and we’ve had these for months! Our house, detached garage, and the majority of our 1.3 acre lot gets strong signal with all our networking devices such as these inside our house. Outdoor cameras and all IoT devices are staying online and performing better than all prior networks I’ve built. Needless to say, I’m happy with that!

I have a set of Deco AX5700 Tri- Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System I purchased elsewhere about a two years ago. However, they have not provided the coverage as good as I wanted, so I purchased two more only this time refurbished or returned for half the price, to cover the rest of my 3850 sq ft single story home. They looked brand new upon opening the box and have worked just like the new ones I bought. They easily connected to my existing units, and I now have better coverage throughout my home and garage. I was hesitant to buy a refurbished pair but have been lucky and have had no issues and they work great just like new!

made a huge jump in speed
worked great with my T-Mobile home internet. decided to invest in mesh system instead of paying them the extra $10 a month to rent thiers. easy to setup. no issues so far. works seamlessly between rooms. went from 8-10 Mbps to about 150-200 Mbps. previously only could get that if I was within 3ft of my Wifi Gateway. no need to have it in the window anymore either. everything is hiding behind furniture on the floor. used 2 units for my 1000 sq ft apt. which in hindsight I could have possibly got away with one. came in great condition. could only tell one of the cords were previously used. glad I went for it.

Excellent Wifi coverage
Very good WiFi coverage in my house especially considering that I have very thick walls. This one performs great. Signal strength is very good and covers my outdoor devices, too. My only concern is that the Chinese have too much control over this company.

Certified Refurbished is a Bust
Just opened and I lifted one tower out and it’s a rattle! My newborn will love this! Unfortunately I need it for internet… going to plug it in to see if it works… but I have little hope for this junk job. I wanted to “buy green” but this is disappointing.Update* plugged in and this is the highest speed i can get… just terrible.

Lo mejor es que estabiliza mucho la red, se terminaron desconexiones que tenia a veces con otros routers. Lo pero es que tiene muy pocas opciones de configuración.Pros: Muy buen alcance el nodo principal tiene el alcance de un router de gama alta, muy estables, buena velocidad e conexión, los dispositivos iot trabajan sin ningún problema.Contras: Muy pocas opciones de configuración, ni siquiera puedes seleccionar a qué nodo se debe conectar un dispositivo y luego se conecta al nodo más lejano, estando en la sala y sin pared de por medio con el nodo más cercano.Por lo anterior a veces la velocidad que recibes es menor a la posible pues se conecta a un nodo lejano.La gestión desde la PC es muy básica, prácticamente solo se puede reiniciar.

Funciona bien cuando lo hace, pero es sumamente molesto que genera desconexiones constantes a equipos al azar; es que no entiendo por qué de repente un celular, una laptop, una pantalla, una tablet o una PC de manera aleatoria se queda sin red de repente y se tiene que reiniciar el Deco para que vuelva a tener red, es sumamente molesto porque a veces tienes algo en curso como una llamada, estas viendo una serie o una conexión importante y simplemente se desconecta. Tengo como 10 decos en total de menor gama y nunca me había pasado esto, pensé que al ser mejores la experiencia seria igualmente mejor, pero lamentablete no fue así.Lo compre como Amazon Renewed. Habían dicho que estaban garantizados los equipos, supongo que la gente simplemente devuelve los artículos por algo y cuando lo compre no pensé en eso. Me arrepiento y nunca volveré a usar esta opción.
