Good piece of equipment.
Nice little unobtrusive camera. Currently in use in the garage, but can be used anyplace. Was reasonably priced, easy to activate and maintain and effective. Good motion detection. Clear, in-focus imaging, day or night. This is the second Tapo camera put into use on our property, both accessible via the Tapo app. Very easy app to use. Would not hesitate adding more if needed. Would recommend.

Great Indoor Camera for the Price — Clear Video & Easy Setup!
The TP-Link Tapo C100 is a fantastic little indoor security camera. Setup took only a couple of minutes, and the app is very easy to use. The video quality is sharp, even at night, and the motion detection alerts are instant. I love the two-way audio — it’s perfect for checking on my dog while I’m away. It also works smoothly with Alexa and Google Home, and having the option for cloud or SD card storage is a big plus. For the price, this camera delivers way more than expected. Highly recommend!

Amazing! And for the price, cannot beat it. Bought these to monitor front and backyard and extremely pleased with setup and quality! As expected. Plug in so no battery. Picture is clear. App is easy to use and free to download. I’m just using for the baby monitor feature so no need to use storage. Also alerts me for movement/noises so I am easily aware of whats going on. Love it!

This is my second Tapo camera, and after using it for a few months, I’m genuinely impressed. It’s a great affordable camera option for any security needs.The video quality is clear, the motion detection works reliably, and the setup is easy. One of the best parts is that you can use a microSD card for local storage, so there’s no need for a subscription to save recordings. For the price, the performance and features are excellent.

This camera is really good quality for its prize. Easily connects to Alexa and super easy to set up. Night vision is very clear and has a long battery life because it’s plugged into an outlet and doesn’t operate off batteries. I purchased two so far and would purchase again. Also the app is easy to navigate and can be connected to other home automation devices and apps.

The uncontested best home camera
This is the best home security camera for the following reasons:I have used 6 different types of APP-based home cameras over time. Generally, the whole gist is that you have to pay a monthly subscription free (Ring is the most notorious). For most cameras, the “live view” is the only free feature. Live view is the most useless quality as, unless you are watching it 24/7, and then record it with your phone, it does not help you.This camera also has quite a wide lens and decent enough quality that, unless you are trying to read a book 20 feet away, you can see all the details that the average person needs.For connecting this to your home WiFi, this is also easier than brands like Motorola which drop consistently – and then make an alarm sound. Motorola is the only brand I would advise to steer far away from; monthly fees, expensive products, poor connection, poor user interface, etc.The other advantage of this camera, which cannot be understated, is the ability to pop in a micro SD card (got a 128gb for $7) and then have it record locally when motion detection is triggered. You can access this through the APP, at any time – you do not need to remove the card. This is all free.For most of these home security cameras on the market, it is the high upfront cost of the device and the constant nag of features being hid behind a pay wall which alienates the user. This does not have that.I honestly cannot believe that the best home camera I own is ~$20 and they sync perfectly. I do not know why this is not the “standard” product advertised.Quite simply, it is exactly what you want without asking for additional payments on a never-ending pop-up loop.Hats off to this product. Phenomenal.

Only issue some times while reviewing the recording in app you find few seconds of interrupted like cutter off recording ! Not much of deal for me as I use it internally so I know what it missed !
