Ultimea Poseidon D50 – Great Sound and Value
The Ultimea Poseidon D50 is a great 5.1 sound system for a small/medium sized bedroom at a reasonable price. The system has enough power to fill the room with immersive audio, very clear highs and lows that are punchy and don’t just sound muddy. Multiple preset EQ’s and the ability to manually set your own preferred EQ is nice. The build quality and ease of setup is adequate, the satellite speakers connect to the subwoofer with long cables using an RCA type for a secure and reliable connection, which then connect wireless to the soundbar. The remote is not as nice quality and does feel cheap, however it serves it’s purpose and has all the controls you’d need at hand, and if you don’t wanna use it you can always download the app and have your phone be the remote.Overall, Ultimea provides a good system for the price point that performs well in a bedroom setting no matter the kind of entertainment you’re looking to enjoy. Even with the 5.1 being virtual it has very clear and detailed sound, with plenty of power for its size and form factor.

    Worth every penny
Easiest to set up and fantastic surround sound for such a small unit! I love it! And the bass is amazing then a tank rolls in to the scene! It sync’s to my Visio tv without me having to do anything. My tv controller also controls volume so no 2-remote activity!

Not true Dolby Surround but nice sounding for the price.
Sounds really nice and clear. The sub-woofer could be a bit louder. Easily assembled and seems to be well made for the price. Pairing is easy enough and there is plenty of cord length. Note, the speakers are not the up firing type for that Dolby surround sound but they only emulate. If you want that Dolby surround sound, spend a bit more and get the speakers that are up firing type.

    Sounds Theater Quality
I’ve used other soundbars for years, and I’ve always thought one was just like another, and for the most part that has been my experience. This time, I decided to try something with more Smarthome capabilities, and I have not been disappointed. The app for the Poseidon D50 Soundbar is easy to download once you scan the QR code on the box, and the multiple options for sound optimization are easy to use and comprehensive. There was almost no setup involved really, just plug-and-play + download the app and it auto connects. The think has a sleek look on my dresser/tv stand and it doesn’t take up much space at all. The satellite speakers are small and easy to conceal on my headboard shelf behind my bed. The sub has significant presence even turned low and I love that I don’t have to fight to feel the sound. Great overall product. I’m glad I got it, and at a really reasonable price, too!

Love this sound bar, easy set up and the surround sound messes with my cat and me as well sometimes hahaha. Love the quality and the depth of sound. The ease of connecting my Bluetooth for my music is great as well

Updated review: Turned into the best speaker I’ve ever owned
Updated Review:This speaker system sounds incredible for the value. $300 or so price point for a speaker that sounds this good is pretty amazing. I’m not an audiophile by any means, but this speaker is more than enough for my setup. Highly recommendFor background, I originally had a bad experience with the D80, and started a refund to return the items. Customer service reached out to me to try and reconcile the bad experience I had the first time around and gave me a replacement item. Once I set everything up again, the system played flawlessly and sounded great. Had to turn it down a bit to not bother the neighbors for how good and punchy the bass sounded. There are better speakers out there, but I think those will cost you $2000-$3000. For this price point, I think the D80 Boom speaker is insane value for just $300. The only downside for some would be the smaller speakers being wired instead of wireless. I don’t mind the wires at all, as I can tuck them away and not worry about latency or lag issues (subwoofer is still wireless from the main soundbar).

Excellent kit for the money.Easy to set up. All necessary parts are included. A comprehensive user manual is provided too.Sound is reproduced fairly faithfully from source. Clarity is good. The two little surround-sound speakers make a big difference when the Poseidon D50 kit is connected to a TV that’s playing a film with Dolby Atmos. Bass sounds are deep and resonant, with the subwoofer doing a decent job despite its relatively low power output (compared to some subwoofers). At high volumes, distortion is minimal. There’s no noticeable hiss or other interference. There are more powerful subwoofer/soundbar/surround-speaker sets on the market, and there are sets that deliver superior sonic results, but that equipment comes with a higher price tag. Ultimea’s Poseidon D50 set delivers impressive results at a comparatively low price.

This surround sound is absolutely amazing! The sound quality is really good! You can connect it through Bluetooth and HDMI (cable included) The speakers, sound bar and subwoofer are better than I expected and was so easy to set up and use. It’s all a good size, not heavy and very easy to move around to where you would like. Recommend!

IMO, this system amazing. I’m using it it a small log cabin .The entertainment system area is about 70sq feet. I have no idea how it sounds in a large theater room. You might want something bigger. If you live in an apartment, your neighbors with hate you. “The base will shake the floor”.The instructions are easy to follow and everything is well labeled. I also bought the, “Sanus Adjustable Height Speaker Stands”. They are a great quality buy.

This is quite simple to install with clear instructions, so it is ideal for anyone to tackle with relative ease. The first thing that I noticed with the sound quality is the voices seem to separate much nicer than the standard TV speakers. The overall separation is good, but the voice separation into the centre is pretty smart. The bass is a little heavy though when pumped up, which can distort, so it really should be able to be set as high, but this seems to be a common theme with subs in most cheaper systems, so you just have to dial it back to a reasonable level that doesn’t distort and you are fine. The main criticism I have with this set is that the ‘surround’ isn’t taken from any rear channel encoding and just generated from the 2.1 signal. I am not sure why this was preferred but it seems like a simple dolby digital encoding chip would have made for a much better experience, so much so that I find myself not using the surround most of the time, which is a shame. That aside even as non surround setup it sounds ace and is still worth the purchase, but I would probably go for their uprated system with Atmos over this one if you really want a good surround experience. The product is made to a good standard and has a nice finish to it, and looks smart enough for any home, with nice clean lines and bevelled edges.Considering the sound quality and separation this really does represent a decent value setup for a first time buyer and I would imagine it wouldn’t be replaced any time soon by most buyers and would probably be used for a couple of years at least before considering the upgrade and even then it would easily move nicely to another TV such as a bedroom setup. So yeah 4 stars, which is good, just deducted a star for not having a proper surround channel, which isn’t a big deal, but it is a deal that stops this being a 5 star review. Other than that, this is great.
