I’ve only used this 3 times, but I must say I’m very IMPRESSED. Let me address some of the negative reviews — first of all, I’ve NOT found that it leaks or messily sputters. I’ve NOT found that it’s necessary to fill the water constantly. What I HAVE found is that if you proceed slowly (it’s definitely a process!) with long even strokes from the top to the bottom of the clothing article, it works quite proficiently. In all honesty, I’ve not tried it on heavy material – just light weight cotton / polyester tops. I find it heats up quickly, is easy to use, and emits sufficient steam to do the job. I recommend it.

Very fast to heat up!!
Works every bit as good as reviews claimed. It does heat up very quickly and I especially like that you can heat it up but not turn on the steam till you need it. Saves having to refill it all the time.

Terrible!!
This steamer is not good at all! I’ve purchased several garment steamers and this one is terrible. The steam only comes out of one hole the largest one in the middle of the steaming plate.

Broken from the box
Electrical cord support exiting the steamer is broken and does not afford protection from chafing that could lead to non-operation or possible shock

Was not in a amazon box , came in original box of product, was not sealed. Regardless of this, it worked as stated, heated up quickly, took all wrinkles out of curtains. would order again but sit should be packaged better.

This steamer worked great! I filled it up with water and waited just 15 seconds—after that it was ready for steaming. I used this handheld iron to get the wrinkles out of my uniform clothes for school. It worked great. At the beginning water was leaking on the clothes, but it dried up fast. I also like the stainless steel head surface.
