Activating DLNA Mode
1. Switch to DLNA Mode
Use the front button to set the device’s startup interface to DLNA mode.
2. Connect to the Device Hotspot
On your smartphone, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi.Locate and connect to the hotspot named “Mirascreen-XXXX”.Enter the default password: 12345678.
3. Establish Router Connection
After connecting, return to your home screen and open your web browser.Enter the URL: 192.168.203.1 and tap Enter.Select SCAN to search for nearby router signals.Choose your router’s network, input your router’s password, and wait a few moments while the connection is established.
Note:
Initial network setup is only required once. On subsequent startups, the device will automatically reconnect to the previously configured Wi-Fi network.For an enhanced experience, make sure the device connects to a 5G Wi-Fi network.

Using DLNA on Android & iOS
1. Start Playback
Open your favorite video or music app (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) and begin playing content.
2. Activate Streaming
Tap the DLNA/AirPlay icon (typically located in the upper right corner).Search for and select “Mirascreen-XXXX” to initiate DLNA/AirPlay streaming.

Ensure P2P Mode: The device should be in P2P mode (this is the default startup mode).Open the Control Center on your iPhone/iPad.Tap Screen Mirroring and select “Mirascreen-XXXX”.Enter the on-screen password (required only on the first connection) to start mirroring.
For Android Devices (Miracast)
Ensure P2P Mode: Use the front button to switch the device to P2P mode.On your Android device (Android 4.4 or later that supports Miracast), activate Miracast by:Using built-in features like Smart View (Samsung) or Multi-Screen Interaction (Huawei),Or by navigating to Settings > More Connection Settings > Screen Mirroring, Settings > Display > Screen Casting, or Settings > WLAN > More Settings > Screen Mirroring (depending on your device).Select “Mirascreen-XXXX” and wait a few seconds for your screen to appear on the TV.

Simple wireless Airplay/DLNA/Miracast Receiver to attach to HDMI of display/projector.
Simplifies wireless audio/visual connection to any HDMI input of Display/Projector (useful if display doesn’t already natively support taking input from Apple AirPlay, or DLNA or Android-Windows Miracast.) In this product, you only get Receiver for display end… no transmitter because your device transmits Airplay/DLNA/Miracast. So this product is just the wireless receiver that plugs into the HDMI port of your display.Tiny receiver “puck” is light and small (wonderful for travel) and REQUIRES USB power source. USB-A to USB-C ‘power’ cable as well as short HDMI cable is included so ready to go right out of the box. Does not specify but looks like only supports HD (1080p) and NOT 4K. Range is limited to AIrplay range approx 30-50 feet. If you need longer range then the specialized HDMI transmitter+receiver pair products is what you need instead of this product.Product performs well. I’ve been pushing Audio/video from my MacBookAir 15″-M4 via built-in MacOSAirplay to a 65″ Samsung TV and also a 4K Laser Projector (but at HD quality) and this receiver has very little latency and no dropouts. Little to no setup. I have embedded videos in MS Powerpoint slides and they all project perfectly including synched sound, with no problems. Transmitter doesn’t seem to heat up much the way other products do.

Doesn’t work for me. NOT easy to set up.
I’ve been using a Chromecast, and it was simple and easy. I set it up myself with no problems. But it died after 10+ years and I discovered that Chromecast has been discontinued.So I got this thing which is supposed to be comparable and some people say it’s easy to install. Nope. I tried it. Then I got my higher tech friend to help me. Then I had to get an IT person. He finally got it connected to the internet, but said it wasn’t going to work on all my devices (Chromebooks, Windows laptop) without downloading apps and making workarounds which might only work for a short time.So this thing is going back, and I guess I’m going to have to use a Google TV device which I will have the IT person set up for me. It won’t be as simple as the Chromecast was, but it will work for all my devices.

Streaming lag is so bad it’s literally unusable.
Although the setup is very simple and the connection is plug-and-play, this product is definitely not worth its price. The video quality looks more like 720p with poor bitrate – even when displaying static PowerPoint slides, the text appears noticeably blurry and pixelated. During use, the screen frequently develops mosaic-like artifacts that make content unreadable. The latency is unacceptable for professional use. While I initially bought this for presentations, it’s practically useless – the constant lag, blurriness, and visual glitches make even basic slideshows unbearable to watch. It is also almost of no use for videos because the lag is very obvious.
