It did not work and might have caught on fire.
I bought because of lots of good reviews. Not my experience with first one I received from Amazon.Light on the receiver did not come on. Light on the transmitter did. The light kept blinking. I watched a video to make sure I had it right (instructions are maybe 4 sentences). I had all correct per the video. I called Amazon and while talking to the customer service agent, I suddenly smelled burning wires. I freaked and checked the transmitter (had lights) and all is fine. I checked the receiver, and it is very hot. I unplugged it immediately.Amazon is sending a replacement (at least there warranty works, did not try vendor) and has emailed me a return mailing label for UPS.At present I cannot give anything but a 1 star because not only did it not work, it might have caught on fire. I will update after I get the replacement but the this will remain as part because even if just a manufacturing defect, risk of fire must be noted.

Very easy to use wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver set
This wireless HDMI setup is design for laptop and mobile devices. This package came with one transmitter unit with USB-C connector, one receiver unit with HDMI connector, a USB-C to USB-A to power the receiver, and a small instruction sheet.This is a plug-n-play type of device with virtually no setup needed. The transmitter unit has a USB-C head and it is connected to a laptop computer or a mobile smartphone. It draws power directly from the USB-C port on the mobile devices so no external power cable is needed. On the receiver unit, it has a HDMI head that connect to your display device or HDTV thru the HDMI port. You will need to find a USB port on your TV to connect the provided cable to power this unit.First time setup is simple, just press the sync button on both transmitter and receiver and once the LED light on the top is solid, both are sync and ready to work wirelessly. It worked really well with my iPad Pro 12.9 where I connect the transmitter unit direct onto the USB-C at the bottom of my iPad. Within a few second, the display is mirrored onto my large HDTV.There are some issues with this device. First, there’s a small latency (lag) between the iPad screen and the HDTV screen but it is as expected and not a show stopper. The second issue is more serious where the transmitter is running hot after 30 minutes of run time. The transmitter is abnormally hot comparing to the receiver unit. I am not sure if this is normal but I would be more concern if I am streaming a 2-hr movies on the big screen.

Plug and play. I have a monitor across the room. You will need an external power supply (old phone charger) if you’re just using it on a stand alone monitor not hooked to anything else.

⭐⭐⭐ Not What I Needed, But Likely Works for Others
I purchased the Terzomen Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver hoping it would meet my needs, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for my setup. While I didn’t use it extensively, the device seemed well-made, and I imagine it would work fine for someone with the right requirements.The return process was smooth, and I appreciate that the company made it easy to send back. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a wireless HDMI solution, but make sure to double-check that it’s compatible with your specific setup. For me, it just wasn’t the right product.
