I didn’t know color changing was possible in a small bulb
But here you are! This bulb is nice, and other than the other SMDs it looks like a normal E12 bulb. With the remote – which is IR and requires a direct line of sight – you can select between several colors and fade/strobe options. The remote feels very cheap and only works when pointed in exactly the right way. Also, when dimming the bulb (using the remote) at a certain low brightness it begins to visibly cycle/flicker. Some of the buttons on the remote didn’t do what was expected based on their description. Overall, for such a tiny bulb it does offer a lot of features, and I will enjoy it in a display base, where I can change the color for holidays or parties, but otherwise leave it a slightly dimmed (above the flicker level) warm white. Overall, I would recommend it for a set and forget use, or perhaps a child’s bedside lamp.

Only two of the three-pack actually work. That being said, those that do work are pretty great.These are for small lamps but they give off a good light and offer a variety of colors and shades.

Great little lamp – check your sizing!
This is a great LED lamp, it has great brightness for the lumens and size. The preselected color choices are a little off, and I wish there were a way to mix your own colors by adding red, green, and blue separately. Just make sure 100% that your socket will fit this lamp; otherwise, you will need to get the appropriate adapter. Otherwise, it works fine with no glaring issues.

Looks great, fits the socket, but doesn’t actually *work*
I don’t know if the bulb was defective, or if the battery in the remote was dead, but this bulb doesn’t work. It fits the E12 socket just fine, I tested the socket with another bulb, and I simply can’t get this fancy bulb to do anything. The remote had a battery protection tab, which I removed, so I’m confident that if the bulb, remote, and battery were all functional I’d have gotten some fancy lights. Nope. Something’s broken.The sensor for the remote is on the very top of the bulb, and the remote uses IR rather than wireless, so if the bulb is mounted up high with the socket down, you might not be able to get the remote to work. This isn’t actually relevant for me, because no amount of positioning and aiming of the remote got the bulb to turn on.
