☞Add Motion Sensor to an Existing Light – Simply screw these light sensor adapters into any existing E26/E27 light sockets to auto-activate lighting in the basements, garages, pantry rooms, storage rooms, walk-in closets, stairs well, corridors, pantry, laundry rooms, attics, etc… No longer walking into a dark area and bumping into things.
☞Light as Soon as Door Opens – When the motion sensor light socket is mounted 8-10 feet above the floor and connected to any E26 / E27 bulbs (<60W) downward, the socket senses motion up to 10 feet away in any direction. It turns off automatically after your setting time if no IR movement is detected to help you save energy costs.
☞Adjustable Bulb Socket Adapter – The timing device can set the time (10 seconds- 5 mins) and LUX adjustable illumination (3-2000lux), you could set its status and working mode according to your needs.
☞No Wiring – The motion sensor socket automatically turns the light on when you enter and off when you exit the room and installs just like a light bulb. It will save you a lot of money over hiring an electrician to put in a light switch.
☞Indoor Use Only – Please make sure to use this motion sensor light socket indoors only. No light shade or No Glass light fixtures, which may black the Light Sensors. And also, please make sure the motion sensor light sockets are fixed downwards only!!

    Light works great
Works great. I like the ability to set the timer to be on for set time period. As long you are moving around, it will stay on. If you set in one place without much movement it will turn off.I have mine set midway which is about 2-3 minutes. No problems of it going off as I be moving around. I had to replace one that was used for about 8 years (different brand). These are faster action to come on. Being that they are rated 100-240 volts, I’ll be taking one to my vacation home overseas where the voltage is 220/50Hz. I have taken many other items which are rate 100-240 and never had any problems. I am sure these will work just fine there too.

    GREAT PRODUCT
works for a light i have in basement. The setting to allow this to work in daylight or in my case have another nearby light on already is nice.

Cheapest piece of hardware I’ve dealt with in a long time
Oh boy, where do I start?Positives:- It detects motion- It turns on the lightNegatives:- Motion detection is slow and unreliable- Timing doesn’t work linearly- Build quality- Build quality- Build quality- Instructions are basically useless- Build qualityOk, so super simple situation. Laundry room in a basement and stupid washer and dryer that have touch based, non illuminated power buttons. I actually had a smart bulb in this socket for a long time, but the automation side didn’t really fit our needs and it wasn’t great. I wanted to replace it with one of those garage lights that are ridiculously bright, but there’s no smarts there.Enter this hunk’o’junk. Installation was easy, until it wasn’t. How many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Ok, so I look at the instructions, useless. Pretty obvious, box says the time delay is “10sec – 5minutes”, not the greatest. Let’s try it out, I move the time dial to about half, so that should give me north of 2 minutes of light…wrong! Not only was it shorter, probably around a minute to 90 seconds, but it wasn’t consistent. Sometimes I’d get 30 seconds, sometimes I’d get a little over a minute. The motion sensor is also really slow. Like, I get to the bottom of my stairs and have time to think “oh man, I think it’s broken why hasn’t it turned on” in my head, then it turns on. With the inconsistent, it shuts off while I’m actively moving around it. Continue moving, nothing. Continue moving, nothing. After 10-15 seconds, it turns back on.Now, check this out. There are 2 body sections to this unit and you can see that in the pictures. The dome PIR sensor is basically the dividing line. Above the sensor is one piece, below the sensor is another piece. Guess how they’re connected. No, seriously, guess. They’re TWIST LOCK. Guess how many times it split in 2 pieces. Every time. Who thought it was a good idea to design an intermediary for a light bulb with a twist lock body? No matter what, it’s coming apart. Unbelievable that this was even part of the conversation in the design phase. It’s such a stupid simple and cheap design, too. PIR sensor runs like $0.25 at retail, probably $0.10 wholesale. A simple switched circuit with a timer, the male E26/27 and the female E26/27, probably another $2 maybe at retail. The body is probably the most expensive part of the BOM and they botched it….BAD.Many other reviews say the same thing, unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of options for this type of thing and sometimes people can be too picky. NOPE, those reviews are pretty generous looking back at them now.Needless to say, I’m returning this thing. Instead of an improvement, it’s a massive detriment to the purpose it was bought for….or any purpose, really.

    ONLY WORK FACING DOWN!
ONLY WORK FACING DOWN!SIDEWAYS mounting does not work well, though it does work okay. Listing should have been more clear about that. Also, build quality is low. Very cheap knobs.

Bad reviews are due to these mistakes…
These worked excellent for me. I suspect that many bad reviews are from people screwing them tight like you normally would, disregarding orientation. It is obvious that if the sensor is blocked by one of its own three pillars, it will be inconsistent. Just unscrew them a few centimeters until the sensors gates are unobstructed from the most likely movement path. Regarding the timer, again is a mechanical timer and its sensible by the millimeter. If you don’t feel like going up and down the ladder many times to calibrate them, just put them in a lamp first and once the timer is to your liking, then you are set to install them.
