Perfect works with Alexa and my phone
This works just like I wanted. Setup Alexa to say what door opens on select device during select hours, so it doesn’t wake the kids but alerts me. It also goes off on my phone what is perfect because if I’m outside, I can still be notified. It is a little delayed like 20 seconds to say it on Alexa, but not a big deal. Very easy to install, had about 2 weeks now and really like it. The price is great too, was looking at the ring version of this but you have to have ring alarm and they are more pricey too. You do have to know what you are doing when ur setting up Alexa to alert you but it’s very basic in my eyes.

Good Quality Overall
Written instructions are not very good, but app is excellent. The small case is just a magnet. You can open it and look. You can substitute any rare earth magnet for this case if your door frame does not have room for it. Just drill a very shallow hole the same diameter as your magnet and glue the magnet in.

as a Wifi device it doesn’t answer to network monitor tools – I heard it may be SSDP but my net monitors don’t see it.The mac address is not documented on the device so can’t verify it. The wifi setup is pretty bad. The initial setup via the app using the instructions takes you to a failure – then it offers a different method which then works. Unlike some 2.4G only devices, this WILL coexist on a network that uses both 2.4 and 5g bands that have the same SSID – a weakness in many chinese products using older chipsets. so 1 positive point for that. The distance from device to Access Point or Wifi router is horrible. fails at 30′ with one wall between. So an Access point in the house with on a garage door fails. The price is fantastic, but in the end, price didn’t matter since it’s not usable. I use Hubitat for my home hub and there are no drivers for it. Some complex Tuya/Tasmota firmware swaps possibly can solve this, but IP devices don’;t play well in most home automations. If your using Alexa only (which is Cloud/external and a poor idea since it’s slow and doesn’t work when the internet is down) it may be this is a good device for certain setups but not mine. I’ve switched to a zigbee device.

This product works really well. I put it on my door and every time the doors open I get notification that the door was open in time. Good alarm system . All you need to do is download app… this is so good. I’m thinking to buy another one for my window.

Great customer service
The first device I received wouldn’t answer an Alexa question, “Is the door closed?” with anything but “Battery is 100.” After some discussion about that, the item stopped detecting open and closed altogether. On Jul 24th at 7:51 p.m., the seller offered to send me a new one. On July 25th at 2:56 a.m., I said yes. On July 25th at 3:17 a.m., the seller messaged, “I have applied to Amazon for reshipment and I expect you to receive it around July 29th.” On July 26th at 3:18 p.m., the item was delivered to my front door!The new device detected open and closed correctly, although a question about the battery level gave the same answer with new batteries, dead batteries, and no batteries! The inability to determine that batteries are dead (or have been removed) seems to be overall device makeup, as one I have that looks the same but is a different brand with different firmware does the same thing. It reports the last detected status, so, if the batteries die when the door is closed, it will say the door is closed when it has since been left open.For this reason, I am using it (and soon my different-brand one) to tell me when I’ve left the refrigerator door or freezer door open and using Ring Alarm detectors for my patio storm door and front gate, as I have three collies, and I need to depend upon correct responses. However, I would certainly recommend these detectors — from seller Gaoducash only — for general use and reminders.

This is an excellent, simple, and cost-effective choice for if you want to receive notifications immediately after a door is opened or closed. I get a loud notification seconds the sensor it activated.

Device canno connect- DEFECTIVE
DO NOT BUY! Device defective and you’ll need to pay for return. Attempted every available option along with using the manufacturer help desk. The manufacturer concluded the device is defective yet there isn’t a way to get a refund without finding a Khols or paying for UPS. Which is half the cost of this product. I use many other WiFi devices and can connect but not this one.

Funcionan perfectamente! La instalación y la vinculación con la app es bastante sencilla, para los que dicen que no agarra el wifi es porque tu red no da el ancho para todas las áreas y por eso el dispositivo no jala el wifi, yo lo que hice es comprar un repetidor de wifi porque mi casa es grande y hace que se extienda la señal y sin problema funcionaron todos los dispositivos! 10/10

El dispositivo se instala súper fácil. Lo vinculas a la app y puedes monitorear desde ahí todo. Te indica si la puerta/ventana está abierta y te manda un recordatorio, incluso puedes programar una alarma en el celular que te avisa si se abrió. Si tienes Alexa puedes vincularlo y pedirle que te haga saber si está abierto o cerrada. Buena compra.

no me gusto ya que es muy grueso para colocar en el marco de la puerta y deben quedar muy juntos para que funcione lo que ocasiona que se desprenda de la puerta cada ves que se abre y no genera ninguna alarma
