High quality light and remote.
You get 2 lights. There are multi white settings , warm, white, & cozy, then it does RGB or colors. A real step up for the lights from others is the remote. Its a real remote, not those really small cheaply ones you get often with led lights that have a button battery and they all look the same. The remote is even magnetized on the bottom side, they thought of everything! I highly recommend.

Not the best choice if you’re looking to reduce blue light at night, but good for lots of colors
I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars. I was disappointed that this bulb did not come with the same remote as shown in the product pictures. The remote in the product photo appears to have pre-set buttons for reading, computer work, and feeding the baby, plus two memory buttons. The remote that I actually received is designed more for party colors than “normal” (white) lighting scenarios.The remote received with the bulb does not have the preset buttons for normal (white) lighting scenarios listed above but instead has four buttons related to shifting the speed and color of the multicolor function. There is one button to use while in the white light mode to toggle quickly from warmer, natural, and daylight.The bulb does not reach the warm appearance of an incandescent or soft white led. Those are 2700K warm light. This bulb only goes down to 3000k which is noticeably bluer than an incandescent or soft white led.I had planned to use this as a day to night bulb that could have less blue light as well as dimming at night. The yellow color setting mimics a zero blue light bulb as it is very subtle and seems more amber than yellow. The problem is that you can’t get to the yellow without cycling through all the colors, including blue. The bulb does have a memory for what color you were last using (when moving from multicolor function to white light function or back), HOWEVER it always starts in the NEXT color from the one you were previously using. So, you cannot go back and forth between a color and normal white light without cycling through all the colors. You can select the color specifically in the app, but this requires using your screen. If the remote had come as shown, you could program a memory button to allow you to go back to the color you wanted without cycling through all colors.The bulb does remember what your previous setting was when turning on and off the light at the switch or using the remote.The pre-set “night light” is not set correctly. Instead of using the warmest white available, pressing the night light button does dim the light but shifts it to the cool white tone (regardless of what setting you were in before pressing the button.)With the remote you have 10 increments of white light color from warm-ish to cool. There are also 10 increments for dimming. The bulb transitions well from very bright or quite dim. The colors available from the remote in order of the cycle are red, orange, yellow (like an amber bulb, not bright yellow), light green, dark green, blue, blue-violet, and hot pink.I do not recommend this bulb for use as a day to night bulb for those looking to eliminate blue light before bedtime. If you want a bulb that changes through flashing multicolors, fading in and out continuous color changes, or just using different colors at different times this bulb would be great. It will also work well if you don’t care about color temperature and blue light but just want a bulb that you can shift from bright to dim as needed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a nice light to update any room. Very simple and user friendly. The app works good, and I like how I can change the color for my mood. I have it currently in my kitchen and switch mainly between a few colors. Overall very easy to use and looks nice at the same time.

I’m very happy with this A19 Color Changing Light Bulb! The remote is sturdy and works reliably, which isn’t always the case with similar products. The bulb itself offers a wide range of color and brightness options, and I love being able to control it both with the remote and the app — super convenient!The lighting is bright and vibrant, and the ability to switch between warm white and cool white is a nice touch. For the price, it’s a great value. I’m planning to purchase another one for my other lamp soon. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a versatile and fun lighting upgrade!

RGB PC? Why not RGB EVERYTHING!
My boyfriend has a light like this and ever since I heard they exist, I’ve wanted one. So when I saw this, I jumped at the opportunity to try it. I don’t have the app (I threw out the box and manual a little preemptively, oops) and no one has said the name of it, and MXhome isn’t bringing anything up, so I’m at a loss there. But the remote works well enough.The bulb is too large to fit in my fan light cover, as it’s a standard bulb size (A19) when my fan light needs A15, which is kind of a bummer just because the diffusion of the cover would probably have made it more satisfying. It works just fine without it, though, so I’m not complaining.What I CAN complain about though is that there’s no way to go back to the last light setting without progressing through the color options. If I have it set on cyan, and I switch back over to the regular lighting (where I have it on bright white) the next temperature will be warm white or just warm. If I want to go back to the color, it’ll progress to the almost UV looking blue. I don’t know if the app has this functionality, but I wish there was a “switch type” button that just flipped between your last two color/warmth settings. I also don’t know the difference between the two slider buttons at the bottom. I probably should have read the manual.I really love that it has a remote, though. This is such a stupid thing to be happy about, because it’s a lightbulb, why does it need a remote? But you cannot tell me you haven’t grabbed a broom or other long object to flip the switch from across the room without getting up. You know you’ve done it. But now you don’t have to, you can just hit a button on your phone or on the remote and boom, light’s on or off. Laziness has truly peaked, what a time to be alive.Anyway, it’s a lightbulb and it works as a lightbulb. The color options aren’t bright but if I need to see what I’m doing, I’m going to be using the CCT options rather than the RGB lights, so I really can’t complain there.If this seems like a good option for you, I definitely recommend it!
