Upgraded my Hub, Works great
I started with Abode in 2014 so my first generation hub was no longer holding a battery charge when power was out and 3G is no longer available for cellular to work as backup. This was so much cheaper on Amazon and seemless contacting abode via email to swap hubs. It took only a few minutes for it to be up and running. Just remember to give it an hour or so to do firmware updates and then reconnect to cellular and clear any faults as the system updates itself.

Garbage support, they could not activate
Terrible support – was a customer for 6 year bought a new hub and after waiting a week they still couldn’t find time to move my setting unfortunately have to return and look for a new company to use, save yourself the headaches

Timely Sale Price
I had the original Abode system. It was no longer able to connect to cellular since 3G towers are no longer in use. I’ve had the system for seven years and let’s face it, modern tech at some time loses support in one way or another – and not always the fault of the maker. Since I needed to replace my base unit, this was on sale for $49.99 at the time and I bought it. Within five minutes, this new unit was connected and my system was operating properly and connecting to cellular network when WiFi would go out which happens now-and-then.
