The Smartest Robot Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned! Unbelievable Mapping!
This robot vacuum has completely revolutionized how I clean! The mapping capability is absolutely phenomenal—it created a perfect, highly accurate floor plan of my entire home on the very first run. I can now easily set up no-go zones, virtual walls, and specific room cleaning sequences through the app, and the robot follows them flawlessly every time. But the real game-changer is the auto-empty station. I set it and forget it! It handles the dust bin without fail, meaning I only have to deal with emptying the main canister every few weeks instead of after every single run.The suction power is great, and the navigation is intelligent, but the combination of its masterful mapping and self-emptying convenience makes this a true 5-star investment. It saves me time and keeps my house consistently spotless. Highly recommended for anyone serious about smart home cleaning!

    A Game-Changer in Home Cleaning
I’ve had my fair share of robot vacuums over the years, and I can confidently say that this self-emptying cleaner is a total game-changer. Honestly, the biggest hurdle with these devices used to be the daily fuss, either emptying the tiny bin or untangling them from some rogue floor item. This machine has completely eliminated those headaches. It’s sturdy, the noise level is okay, it is on the higher side which I suppose is due to suction power. The self-emptying feature is easily my favorite part. It’s the definition of “set it and forget it,” making the entire system incredibly low maintenance. I love that I can just let it run on a schedule and not worry about it filling up halfway through a clean. The suction, too, is genuinely impressive. I’m noticing a real difference on both my hard floors and area rugs; it picks up everything it should without a problem. But what truly sets it apart for me is its ability to handle those pesky little obstacles. You know those small carpet curls or maybe a stray cable? Most bots choke on those, but this one is capable of going right over them without issue. It’s fantastic to have a cleaner that’s actually reliable around the typical clutter of a busy house. It was super easy to set up, easy to program, and easy to live with. I’m overall extremely happy with the performance and all the thoughtful features packed into this device. If you’re looking for a serious upgrade to your home cleaning routine, you won’t regret getting this.

Best purchase I ever made! My floors have never been so clean ❤️❤️
This has been my best purchase! It is so easy to use, and it is worth the money. It cleans after my dogs and can be set to an automatic schedule! I love that it empties itself so I don’t have to. It maps the house, so it actually cleans every spot (unless you tell it not to). It is extremely sturdy and durable. My dogs have tried to eat it and it’s still functioning. It is never been this easy to have clean floors! My only drawback is that I have to fill the water container for the mopping function each time. Even that’s not that bad. The mop bracket is easy to remove so you can replace the mop. The mop is reusable and machine washable. I was even able to find dupe mop replacements for super cheap that fit this model. I would absolutely make this purchase again and recommend this to all my friends!

    Great Little Vacuum
I love this little vacuum! I’ve had it for about 8 months and its still runs great. It is essential to my cleaning routine. I have a german shepherd and he sheds A TON and this vacuum helps me maintain a fluff free home. It does not completely take the place if regular vacuuming but does help for the in between. It has pretty decent suction. its not meant to pick up things larger than a cheerio. For about 1200sq ft it has pretty good battery life. I don’t use the mop function so I cannot speak on that. But as a vacuum I would recommend. The App is pretty easy to navigate too.

Tough love or just plain tough to love?
I’m going to be brutally honest here. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and yesterday and earlier today I cheerily and optimistically opened up the package to use it for the first time. Here are some of my first thoughts. The boxing was rather nice. It came with one or two extra mops, two extra bags and extra HEPA filters. All of that was a pleasant surprise because nowadays products sometimes are received incomplete or with just a very basic supply and so you’d have to buy the replacement filters or bags instantly. I was glad they thought of the customer experience here. Now we get to setting up the device for the first use. There were no clear markings on the robot vacuum. I had to guess based on experience that the metal contacts are to align with the contacts on the base. The base itself was easy enough to plug in.Instantly the vacuum started to charge with breathing orange lights. Because markings on the surface of either device are few and far in between, I had no clue what breathing orange light is supposed to indicate. It only gets worse from here.Under the lid of the base unit, there are some illustrations that show different steps. However, both the positioning and the sizing of the letters are so small that I could not read it.Eventually, I had to flip through the manual to find what breathing orange light meant. There are about five different patterns and colorations for the lights and they mean different things but I’ll be darned if I can tell you what’s going on.In the manual, it explains that the product is best to use if I download the app and pair the device. So I searched for the app and I searched in the manual for instructions on how to pair the app. This is the smoking gun. None of the surfaces of the vacuum or of the base station. Is there a code that takes me to the app on the app stores. For a product where in the manual it says that it was meant to be used with the app, it should be more than abundantly clear that I should download the app and from where.I’ll give a point of contrast here. I have a smart deadbolt. I installed it not that long ago. In the instruction manual and in the Quickstart guide on the deadbolt itself and inside the deadbolt itself are QR codes that take me to the app. I could not open the box before I was face-to-face with a QR code with very large words that instructed me to install the app because it was necessary for the operation of the device. On this here vacuum, I had to figure it out by experimentation. Let me repeat this. The manual asks you to download the app and to pair the device. And the manual does not give instructions on how to do either of those. On the product website, there is a video on how to do pairing so here is my next point. If it is so hard to do such a fundamental and necessary step that it takes a video to explain it then it was probably not designed quite right. In fact, just because the fonts are so small and there are no clear markings for which are latches and which are not, it shows that these guys have no idea what usability is.A book called How to Design Everyday Things was published more than a decade ago. None of the folk at Airrobo clearly have heard of it or considered opening its cover. On the robot, there are two buttons, labeled home and power. To pair, you’d have to hold both buttons down for three seconds. Without a manual, no one would have guessed that. Heck, with the manual, it would not be possible BECAUSE THE MANUAL DOESN’T TELL US!!!For comparison, my latest headphones have a button clearly marked for pairing. I took that out of its package, turned it around identified a button as clearly for power (by its visible marking) and then recognized the pair button. You ask, how does it work? Well, I ran it. I had to fetch the remote, which by the way, is necessary not optional. I pressed the Play button and off it went. Not ten minutes later, it complained that it was stuck on the rug in the middle of my bedroom. The reviews I studied explained that this robot recognized when the mop attachment was installed and will avoid carpets and rugs. Nevertheless, here was the robot vacuum lights blinking everywhere stranded on my rug, and I checked that verily the mop attachment was installed. Here are my conclusions from the first use. It failed to avoid carpet. The lack of buttons on either device and clear indications of what buttons do and what lights mean is a failure. The manual not covering a very important procedure, which it requires the user to do is another failure. The only thing they got right was put the vacuum in the box with extras of the consumable accessories! For a few hundred dollars, they should have been able to do more than that. I expect more than that.At the least … there are so many basic misses! There is no one thing they needed to do better. Like what thought process led them to think that showing a sequence of steps under a lid in 9 pt font is satisfactory?Just another one… in the base, after you open the lid, there is a disposable bag for vacuum dirt. Under the bag, there is a cap that you can unscrew. I couldn’t spot any labels or markings for what is supposed to go into the exposed tank after I unscrew the cap. It was clearly meant for an end user. No labels. No pictures. No explanations in the manual.

This is our second vac robot. The AIRROBO is a beast. The powerful suction pulls cat hair very quickly (we have two cats, cat hair everywhere), and the mopping function actively scrubs away spills, leaving floors immaculate. It’s also incredibly smart, much better than our first robot. The mapping function is fast and precise, allowing you to clean specific rooms or create a temporary area smoothly via the app. The battery capacity is excellent, easily cleaning the main floor with 20% battery. But the best part is the auto-empty station. The robot finishes its job and empties itself into the base. I haven’t had to change the dust bag till now.

I love this robot vacuum. Easy to connect 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The self-emptying mechanism works perfectly, it has made my life much easier as cleaning floors is a huge hassle for me. As it cleaned this entire area, it completed its first map, which was extremely accurate. It sweeps and mops is super cool. My dog comes in and out tracking little paw prints all over the place and hair, it makes those disappear. The robot vacuum is relatively quiet which is appreciated. My cats hiss and run when I get out of the other manual vacuum, they ignore the T20+. It gets the corners and small debris perfectly and the robot also can navigate the house well. It has plenty of battery power – running for over 120 minutes with 30% of the battery charge still remaining. Most robovacs in my experience run about 60 minutes before needing to charge. So far, I’m super happy about this purchase. If it gives me any crap I will update here. I look forward to being able to purchase spare parts to have on hand.

Have a Roomba i5 at home and this Airrobo at work, same price and nominally the same thing, but the Airrobo is a muuuuch better unit. More powerful vacuum, much more stoutly built (and heavier, which is good for mopping), has a chevron roller brush to funnel all the stuff into the vacuum, better app (more intuitive and less buggy), comes with a remote so you don’t even need to use the app, way better navigation and map generation, better sensors, actually seems to have some control over its mop water usage instead of the Roombas incontinence. We will see how it holds up over time but so far every single detail on this thing is done better in my opinion.

Coming from a former roomba user, this thing rocks. Cleans in a proper pattern instead of random. Self emptying is awesome. Mopping is fine. If your floor is very dirty you will have to rinse mop after. I only use mop for quick maintenance. Loss of star only because it is aggressive trying to climb over some objects. Has a ton of torque so carpets and transitions are a breeze.

I bought this on prime day for like $300. So I will review it as a $300 system, instead of a $500 system, which I think may be slightly above its fair market value.App and Setup:Overall, the LIDAR mapping feature worked excellently, it was easy to connect to WiFi, worked right away out of the box, and the app was easy to use. They also have walkthrough videos if you need the assistance.Cleaning:I prepped my space, it did a mapping and cleaning, and then I setup the digital map to be the proper rooms I wanted.- I like that I can decide what it will do in each room, I have it vacuuming and mopping in the kitchen, and the vacuum at medium power. But then in the living room I have it only vacuuming at max power because of the carpet. This is a great feature that works well.- I can also schedule it to clean certain rooms at certain times, or double clean a room, which is nice.- 30square meters for my main floor, and it vacuums and mops 66% and vacuums at high power the other 33% and it usually has 60-65% battery still left over.- I can’t edit the map as much as I want to, it won’t let me fix “mapping errors” that it creates, but it does update the map each time it cleans and seems to refine it every cleaning.Cleaning effectiveness:- vacuum is great, zero issues there and lots of good features to keep the cleaning products working well (like a comb to catch hairs that would get caught).- the mop is okay. You have to fill the water reservoir manually and it probably lasts two mops in my space. It also is just a pad that slides along the floor, so it won’t scrub or really clean anything super well. But the idea with these sorts of robots is that continued, regular use will do 80-90% of the work, and then you can do the 10% by hand that it can’t handle. Which I think it achieves that goal very well.Overall, it stands up against the $1,000 model I wanted to get really really well. I wish I didn’t have to manually refill the mop all the time, but other than that it’s been a great experience for a third of the price!I have a 3 year old toddler and 2 cats. It seems to handle what they throw at it without much issue.I do take the time to clear the floor before it cleans. Like any robot it will struggle with small toys, strings, etc. that are left behind.——-Update after over a year. This robot vacuum has been a staple in my home. It cleans 2-3x/week against difficult conditions. It gets stuck easily, so small toys and such need to be cleaned to before it goes. But it does a great job and has been holding up very well.I did notice a virtual wall moved on me at some point in the software which left it exposed to stairs – which it does not do a good job detecting. It fortunately only fell off one stair and not further, but that could have been the end of its life easily.Overall very happy with my purchase and it was well worth the $$$.
