Excellent performance
I ordered these dusk-to-dawn (without motion sensor) bulbs for the second time. We use them for a fixture on our front porch. They are reliable and have always worked well – coming on as the sun goes down and turning off at first light. They are very bright and light up the entire entry way at and around our front door. Easy to use, not necessary to position the sensor in a certain direction. Just screw the bulb in the same as you would with any traditional light bulb. On our porch, the bulb is on for close to 10 hours / 7 days a week and it lasted for over 3 years before it needed to be replaced. Very pleased with the quality and performance. I will definitely continue to purchase this brand in the future.

These Are My Go-To Outdoor Front Door Lights
This is the second time I’ve purchased these dusk-to-dawn light bulbs. I have used them for years now and they work perfectly – they are reliable in that they turn on/off exactly as desired, they are bright, they don’t use much energy, and they last a long time. The other two that I’ve had in the past have lasted at least a year or longer which is impressive considering they go on and off every day. Unlike other dusk-to-dawn lightbulbs I just screw these in and don’t have to worry about the positioning of the sensor. The bulbs are made well too – they are nice and strong. Very happy with these lightbulbs. If you’re looking for a way to automatically light up your front or rear door, or patios, then this is a great choice. They don’t work by motion, but work when the sun goes down and turn off when the sun goes up. Super happy with these bulbs and definitely a strong recommend from me.

Great because I’m lazy… but color a bit different than expected
2/2/25- We actually gave the second bulb to our next door neighbors and they liked it so much they actually took it when they moved, lol. They left all the other bulbs for new owners, except this one.I bought these because I am sick of having to turn our front porch light on and off every day. We have a 3 level townhouse, with front entrance being bottom level. We spend the majority of our days on the middle and top levels, going down to family room only at night, so I would have to remember to go down every morning just to turn off the porch light because I hate having lights on for no reason.My husband has all these smart things all over our home connected to one app that we control with our phones, and he is planning to buy a smart porch light as well, but we haven’t found one we like yet. In the meantime, I saw these and thought, “huh, didn’t know that was a thing, yeah, gonna try”.They work exactly as described. Very convenient; I no longer have to worry about turning porch light on/off at all. We have had it for months and every evening it turns on by itself and every am back off. My only…. not complaint, just statement to other possible buyers; the light is such a cool white it’s actually a bit blue. It was a bit of shock the first week or two. I guess we had just a regular warm bulb there before, so seeing our front yard/driveway/porch go from being a nice golden color to this very bright bluish white was quite noticeable. I expected 6000K to be a very bright pure white, no blue tint.It is exceptionally bright, which I do like a lot. Makes everything on our security cams show up very well at night, so that is a big plus. We did worry a little about whether neighbors would mind, just because it’s so bright and blueish, but it’s just lighting up our front property, it’s not like a crazy spotlight, so I’m sure I was just being paranoid. We have gotten mostly used to the color, but I wouldn’t choose it again, and that’s just a personal aesthetic preference.It was very easy to install/set up. We just screwed bulb in and turned switch on. The light comes on for a minute to let you know it’s not dead, then turns off if it’s daylight. I accidentally flip the switch all the time because we have too many switches in this house and it’s confusing, but it never affects the ability to work properly. Just flip it back on and it’s fine.Overall, it does what it’s supposed to, is very convenient, cheap price, and has been totally reliable so far.

Works great!
Just got these lights but I love them! My closet light was too high to reach without jumping and my pantry light would stay on ALL the time because nobody ever turned it off. I put one in both rooms and it’s been perfect! Super responsive light, comes on before you reach the light switch and detects when you walk away and shuts off shortly after. Works great.

Not the best quality
Okay so I’ve had these bulbs for quite a few months now and I noticed that the quality control from bulb to bulb is intermittent some of the light bulbs function all the time some of them don’t I’ve noticed that I’m having some intimate and issues with two of the bulbs where they’re not detecting motion as I walk into a room but more rather when I leave the room I’m currently looking for a replacement brand as I don’t feel confident buying the same bulbs again though two bulbs are continuously working but I’m having issue with two of the other bulbs I’ve purchased these bulbs on two separate occasions and I feel that it may be better that I spend my money elsewhereSo after writing this review, I figured I’d give them one more try I ordered a new set of bulbs and I’m having intermittent issues with these bulbs in my garage when I walk in I set one up so that upon entering the garage it will turn on for whatever reason it does not detect motion does not matter if the room is completely pitch black,, In fact, I feel like it’s completely defective it has the tendency to turn on when I’m walking out of the garage no matter how much motion hand gestures are or movement I do while I’m in the garage they do not work I think I’m going to scrap these motion detection bulbs and just use motion detection light switches buyer beware spend your money elsewhere

I wanted more than I got.
This bulb works as described and goes on and off when motion is detected. My low ranking is due to the weakness of the light itself (maybe it is my aging eyes?) and my finding the color of the light unappealing. I will look for an alternate place for the bulbs I already bought (supposed to be equal to 100 watt) and order something stronger for above my laundry space.

It works great, but for its motion detection to work, the object needs to be very close to it. It can only detect from just within a few feet (like 10 to 15 feet away). I even removed my lighting fixture cover and leave the bulb completely exposed.

Bought this 2 bulb pack for a closet. I left the cover off the light fixture so the bulb could sense movement and the first bulb worked great for 2 weeks. After that I could turn it on using the switch which allowed it to light for 30 sec then it timed out but wouldn’t turn on when motion was present, no matter how hard I danced or how good my moves this light would not ‘see’ me. Second bulb didn’t sense at all. Tried multiple lamps with same results. Pretty sure i installed them rightAt $45 for 2 it’s a very expensive item and one would expect better quality and results. Seller was quick to approve return but I was required to pay shipping of over $17. Hopefully I get credit for that. Disappointed, loved it when it worked.
