Fantastic performance
I live in the Deep South. The humidity is unbelievable and this powerhouse keeps my humidity level in check. Ultimately I ended up purchasing two of these out of convenience and to avoid having one constantly running. The humidity inside will drop from 80+% to a comfortable 40-45% fairly quickly. I would say within 1-2 hours. I live in an old factory that was converted into lofts and apartments. Lots of concrete. I’m in a 600 sq ft loft with 20 ft windows that aren’t sealed the best. This dehumidifier is a lifesaver. During peak season this ran every day 24/7 without an issue. I was tempted to see how many gallons of water it pulled every day but never did.

Works great
We live in a very humid environment. This has been running 24/7 for two years with no issues.

Works super well
I live in an apartment where they put AC units in the wall of each apartment and the condenser outside. The units, at least mine, tend to get very humid. My “energy bill” is built into my rent and is a flat fee, so in Texas, you know I set my AC to 65 all day long..in the summer, it never gets that low, but it will reach 67 in the middle of the night/early morning.I bought a thermometer/hygrometer, and it was showing 70%+ in my bedroom. It made the 70 degrees I could get the temperature down to in the early evening feel so much hotter. It always felt so sticky, so I ordered this for the bedroom. My entire apartment is, I believe, around 800 sqft and the bedroom is decent sized. I am seeing that this holds 8 pints (3.79 liters), and it gets full approx every 3 hours, and it will often need to be emptied every 3 hrs 24 hrs a day. That means this thing is pulling 24+ liters of moisture out of the air in my bedroom every day? That seems insane that the air could even hold that much water, but I am emptying it like clockwork, and this thing is pretty great.I wish it was bigger, but it fits nicely next to my bed, is not very noisy- it sounds maybe like a floor fan on medium speed…it rolls around very nicely and easily, and it’s super easy and intuitive to pull out the tank to dump it. The handle on the tank feels sturdy, not too heavy to carry to the tub to empty, is built in such a way that I can turn it almost totally over so it will quickly empty, and it’s never splattered all around or went anywhere but the tub.The buttons on the top are super NOT intuitive. I have no idea who designed the buttons, but they are ridiculous and make little logical sense. I had to actually read the manual to figure out what the heck the buttons meant, because they are actually rather comical. The buttons on mine do not match the more logical buttons on the product pictures. Anyhow, it does not matter ultimately, as I have it set at 45% humidity and have the buttons set and never touch them. The filter comes out easily, very simple to clean. That area is easy to clean on the unit itself. It’s very low profile which I like…it does not take up much space and is somewhat hidden next to my bed.You have to take off the tank that holds the water before you use it, which I did not realize, because the hose it comes with is in there and an adapter if I remember correctly. I do not use the hose as I have nowhere to run it/dump it in my apartment.Anyhow, it’s been a god-send, and I run it 24 hours a day for a month now, no issues- it’s not silent, but I can deal w the noise for the reduction in humidity. I am finding I can get it down from 70%+ to around 49% at the lowest so far. That’s a nice reduction that makes it feel not at all sticky in my bedroom now. I will often close my bedroom door to make sure the humidity is down in there, as I also run a portable AC 24 hrs a day in my living room area. This has worked wonders so far.

Works like a dream,
works like a dream and a lot less noise then the last one. Took me a bit to figure out how to set it up as it was a lot different the the former ones. We live in an earth home. it needs dehumidifer work all year long and this one is in a bathroom in the back of the house. its new but its doing its job and so much then the one it replaced. That one was crap it worked well but the plastic that housing it was crap and kept falling apart. So glad I got this one

Noisy, lasted just over 1 year
Ordered mine on September of 2023, and it’s still working. I have a small apartment, about 500 square feet. I keep it in the living room, and it makes a huge difference. I live in Florida, and in the summer months, I have to empty the tank 2x a day. That might seem like a lot, but it’s very humid here, and that’s on a very low setting. In winter, it may take days to fill.My sugar no longer clumps, and my laundry no longer smells. It has increased my electricity bill noticeably. I’m paying probably $20 a month more with it running 24/7 the way I use it. I also have it set pretty low (40%). Ymmv.I’m deducting two stars for the NOISE. It’s loud AF. It’s so loud I honestly wish I’d sent it back and gotten another one. What’s loud isn’t the fan or the regular operation, but what happens is the plastic bucket will start resonating from the vibrations of normal operation. I’ve tried all sorts of crazy things to muffle it, including wrapping it in towels, setting weights on top of it etc. The bucket is just a little loose (it has to be, or you wouldn’t be able to pull it out), but it also has weird, loose plastic parts inside it. They all start *vibrating* and it makes so much noise.I’ve had no issues with leaks, or malfunctions since I’ve owned it. The issue with noise isn’t really a malfunction, unfortunately.Update April 2025: the unit died suddenly. Just stopped working completely. I maintained it as directed. The coils aren’t frozen, it just isn’t collecting any water anymore. I think the compressor has quit. Luckily I bought the extended warranty and got a full refund. I’ll try a different brand next time.Reduced my review based on this.

The Best Room Dehumidifier
My house has a very high humidity level so this my third B&D unit. I originally purchased another brand but it wasn’t up to the task. I would confidently recommend this product.

Poor Assembly Quality Control
Brand new out of the box it did not work at all. Upon disassembling entire device, found one wire clip not connected, and a multiple wire harness plug was not connected into its socket. After making repairs and reassembling, it worked perfectly. This is a good product that had poor assembly and poor quality control.

Been using in the basement.. Keeps it nice and dry down three!
Lunch Maker –
Very pleased with this compact dehumidifier; works magically in enclosed garage. Very easy to set up and automatically stops when reservoir is full – easy empty. Would also be suitable for indoor spaces – nice clean appearance. Highly recommend.
