How to Pair Two Q66 Bluetooth Speaker for TWS?
Turn on and set them to Bluetooth mode.

Louder than my JBL Partybox 100, great bass, great lights
My JBL Partybox 100’s are showing their age at this point. They were $299.99 back when I got them. They are still great performers and the minimum of what I consider a party speaker to be in terms of bass and volume. I regularly listen to two of them linked in TWS (True Wireless Stereo).This TAMPROAD speaker not only hangs with one of them in terms of power but exceeds one of them in total volume. The last two volume steps get super loud.The bass is very robust and is almost up to par with the Partybox 100. The 100 has more deeper bass, but the TAMPROAD has punchier bass especially near max volume. That’s where this speaker really shines. I can clearly feel the bass in my chest from across the room in my workout room.The overall sound signature is a bit muddier sounding than the JBL. The JBL being much more nuanced and musical. But for the money this TAMPROAD really delivers for less money.The lights are way better than my aged partybox 100. Much brighter and vibrant with lots of different effects much like the newer JBL speakers. Note that the strobe lights work on all of the light modes and too my knowledge can’t be turned off independent of the other lights. So if you have someone sensitive to flashing strobe lights you will need to turn the lights off completely.Build quality feels a little cheap overall. It’s much lighter (which isn’t a bad thing) than you would think.

I’m honestly impressed by how well this Bluetooth speaker stacks up against my other one from a more famous brand. The sound is rich, full, and surprisingly powerful—those dual woofers and tweeters really pull their weight. With 300W peak power, the bass feels deep without being muddy, and the treble stays crisp. I can totally see myself using this for backyard BBQs, quick indoor gatherings, or even as a mini home-theater setup.The TWS stereo feature is a huge bonus. Pairing two units for a full spatial audio experience sounds like something I’d actually do when I want to fill a larger space with music. And the LED light show? Fun, loud, and optional—which I appreciate if I’m just trying to chill.I also like the flexibility: Bluetooth, USB, AUX, plus mic and guitar inputs. This is the kind of speaker I’d bring to a picnic or keep plugged in at home. With a large battery and plug-in power, it’s reliable wherever I take it. Overall, seriously versatile and surprisingly premium.

This is a great speaker, really versatile and big while still being portable, It’s very powerful and you can turn it up loud enough to shake the walls, but the volume control is granular enough that you can turn it down and use it at sensible levels too.The light show is surprisingly effective. I expected it to look tacky but it’s actually a smooth animation of colour that reacts to the music, and there are several variations to choose, and you can turn it off entirely if you prefer.It’s a very versatile speaker. You can use it via bluetooth, and AUX connection, USB or even just an old school 1/4″ jack. You can connect microphones to it, and guitars and use it as an amp and it has a reverb effect for these. You can use it for karaoke and record your efforts to a USB stick. There’s really loads you can do with this.For all its features its really easy to use. The control panel on the top has dedicated buttons for everything, so no obscure double-tap long-presses are needed to find the mode you want. It’s tremendously straight forward.There is a recessedd handle on the back and the speaker is light enough and well-balanced to make it very easy to move and carry. It’s not very heavy despite its size. It’s not too obnoxiously large though, and can be discretely tucked away even in small rooms.You can power it via the internal battery, USB-C, or with an included ‘figure-8’ cable, so there are lots of options for powering this speaker. Battery life seems pretty impressive and even after a few days of using it on battery its still going strong. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of battery life indicator though.The only downside I can really find on this speaker is that there is no hole in the bottom to allow you to mount it on a stand. Otherwise it’s a really good sounding, portable and powerful speaker. You can use it quietly at home or blast it out at full power at an event. Great.

I was so excited to try this speaker, because I already adore Bluetooth speakers but usually keep to the £20-£40 range. So I was very curious to see what paying quite a bit more would get me – and my goodness, it turns out the jump in quality is absolutely huge.My first reaction when I opened the box was literally: “Oh wow… that’s much bigger than my other speakers!” But although it’s tall, it’s not overly wide, and I had no trouble finding it a home.And once I picked it up, I was pleasantly surprised – for something that looks this serious and premium, it’s surprisingly light and portable. The hidden carry handle on the back is a stroke of genius: practical when you need it, invisible when you don’t, which keeps the sleek aesthetic perfectly intact.And then… the sound. Oh my goodness, the sound. This was the moment I realised why people spend more on a speaker like this. It’s not just louder – although it can absolutely shake a room – it’s richer, fuller, deeper.The bass sits on a completely different level to my normal Bluetooth speakers. It has this thick, warm, rolling presence that you can feel as well as hear. Rock mode is already bassy, but switching to Bass mode… let’s just say it’s like flipping from “fun” to “earthquake.”And it’s not all about that bass. On top of that huge low-end presence, it also delivers clear mids and crisp highs. Best of all, even when I turn the volume right down late at night to avoid annoying the neighbours, the quality remains beautifully intact.The six EQ modes are genuinely useful (not just gimmicks), and the six light modes are gorgeous – colourful, dynamic, and surprisingly tasteful. And if you’re not in a party mood, you can switch them off for a calmer vibe.Despite having lots of features, it’s incredibly intuitive to use. I didn’t touch the manual once. The controls feel great – especially the clicky dials – and the little display window is clear and classy.What truly delighted me is how versatile this speaker is. My guitar sounds fantastic through it using my modeller. It also works beautifully as a TV speaker. Of course, you can pair two for TWS stereo, but honestly even a single one absolutely wipes the floor with the flat, boxy sound from my TV’s built-in speakers. And the Bluetooth connection (mainly to my iPad) has been flawless.Battery life is wonderful – long-lasting and powerful – but I also love that I can just plug it in and use it like a home speaker. The rubber feet on the sides protect the casing, which feels premium and lovely to the touch.I really struggled to find fault… until I realised the one thing I would personally love: a remote control. That’s it. That’s literally my only gripe. Everything else has exceeded my expectations.I have high-end headphones that I normally use for serious listening, but they simply cannot compete with this speaker’s bass. This thing has had me smiling nonstop. As I was finishing up this review, Third Class Citizen by Calva Louise came on, and the bass literally rolled through me like thunder.So is it worth the extra money? For me – absolutely, without a single doubt. I love it so much that if it was stolen, I’d replace it immediately (hopefully with help from the insurance!). It’s one of my all-time favourite products.
