Near perfect for a portable sound source.Very flexible inputs- bluetooth, usb thumb drive (mp3, wav, maybe others), 1/8″ mini plugs for aux input and a mic. Volume control and track selection can be performed from either the speaker itself, or the bluetooth source. I’ve used Bluetooth on an Android phone and an iPad, both worked flawlessly. There was no noticeable delay with bluetooth. It supports TWS (two of these synced for stereo).You *can* charge your phone with it, but don’t expect it to quick-charge. It comes with a USB charging cable and an 1/8″ to 1/8″ audio cable. The included docs claim 20hz-20Khz, and it certainly does reach it on the high side. The 20hz on the bass end is a bit of a stretch though. With informal testing I see a rolloff starting around 55Hz, though the bass is audible to near 30Hz. Fine for most situations and I wouldn’t expect much more from a portable speaker this size. It also claims IPX6 water resistance (i.e., puts up with a garden hose at a couple yards away) and I don’t doubt it, though I haven’t tested that myself. It looks very well sealed, with a silicon/rubber cap over the openings for the connections. WIth that in mind, It’s likely only that water resistant if using bluetooth when there’s not a cable plugged into it. It comes with a nicely written user manual in English. The mic input has a built-in echo effect, which may be fine for karaoke, but unfortunate can’t be turned off so prevents this from being used as a megaphone unless you’re at Smokin’ US30 dragstrip.
